Wolfcloak rebels

Well, I'll admit I was caught off guard because I didn't expect to receive land until the level-up ceremony in March. Up until now, the "Wolfcloak" soldiers I have beeing campaigning with have been a few thousand ideologically-motivated volunteers from across the empire. That's why I relied a lot on my larger allies since I had no land of my own to raise units from.

Now that I have "assumed ownership" of Armenia and Caucasia, I am able to recruit a previously-untapped source of troops. Since those lands are at risk of invasion, I'm sure I'll have little difficulty convincing a large number of men to fight for me. They'll be green, but they will have a good knowledge of the rugged terrain and can be thrown together along the bank of the Euphrates to stall your advance.

Even if you marched into Armenia right this minute, you'd have to contend with very mountainous terrain and an even more hostile populace that can fester into a pro-Wolfcloak insurgency. That should slow you down long enough to allow me to build up an army in Caucasia, then slowly start pushing you back to Judea.
