There is no 'genuine' conservative party In the South of Ireland, any of noteworthiness at least!

Fine Gael have turned into a mix of social and neo liberals, Fianna Fáil being their populist selves will do and say anything for power, whilst using republican rhetoric as window dressing to mobilise their base, and Sinn Féin is a socialist, Irish nationalist and republican party. Conservatism is to say the least extremely under represented in Irish politics right now.

Fianna Fail > Fine Gael any day of the week.

Sinn Fein > both of them
