ROLCTN, OnCan GOV
THESE ARE THE POSSIBLE METHODS OF REGIONAL POWER DISTROBUTION. VOTE IN THE POLL. YOU HAVE 72 HOURS
Methods 1 and 2
Elected Leader Method
-Leader voted on in a poll (chooses own title)
-Governor general is Ontarian Canada (only one who holds executive power)
-Anything “determined by governor general under recommendation by current leader” means the leader decides and the governor general enacts the decision unless it’s completely against proper code of conduct
-Governor general assigns officers under recommendation from current leader
-Challenging season is held once every little while (determined by governor general under recommendation by current leader)
-Elections will be held once someone opposes current leadership (any nation) during challenging season
-Challenger decides campaign length
-Only two candidates at once
-Candidates may not vote
-Bills: Bills can be proposed by anyone and go through the governor general. If they don’t agree with it, it is up to the officers to vote on it and if the majority and leader agree on it, the bill passes and becomes a law. If the governor general does agree, however, only the leader has to vote on it. This is where methods change: Method 1: before the bill becomes a law, all countries in the region vote on it (referendum method) or it becomes a bill (Democratic Government). Method 2: only ministers vote on it. Bills may only be rejected twice.
-The officer positions may only be changed at the start of the term (so the ones which oppose a bill can’t be demoted and the bill be passed with the remaining cabinet).
-Only method 2: If the governor general turns a bill into an act (meaning it’s super major and will change the government style or something else major)(may change at any time), the government does not vote at all and the decision is made in a region wide poll and the result will be carried out by the governor general (Leader solely has veto power in an act)
Method 3
People’s Democracy (Full democracy)
-Governor general is Ontarian Canada (only one who holds executive power)
-People vote on everything anyone suggests
-If it passes governor general must accept unless (super rare) the governor general has it thrown out (if it’s super ridiculous or something) however if every country in the region except the governor general and all countries manned or partially manned by him are for it, it passes anyway.
