Etymology
The Tiger Empire gained it's name from Rijahn Raj's nickname, the Tiger Emperor, because of his ferocity and his love for Tiger's.
History
The Tiger King
The Tiger King was born in 479 BCE from Andra Raja and Rai Ranar Raj. He had a happy childhood and became a wise and strong leader. Apparently, he won 200 tornaments and 300 tests of several subjects. This is highly disputed between historians but nobody says he is stupid. He was also always enchanted by uniting Dravidia.
The War of Expansion
Rijahn Raj became King in 491.He used his power to put his dream to real life by invading the Tamil Vidiyal Leen Kings (Dawn Lion Kings). Then he invaded further North, finally conquering Teluva City. He then created several forts in Sri Lanka by crossing the then existing Rama Peninsula in 499. He declared the Tiger Empire's Existence in 500 BCE.
The Fall
After nearly 200 hundred years of relative peace and the creation of a constitutional monarchy in 567 BCE, nobles began to fight with one another over who would be Emperor. After a long civil war known as The Tiger Hunt (started in 680 BCE), the nation fled to the forts on Sri Lanka and conquered the island, creating the kingdom of Neo Kerala.
Geography
The Tiger Empoire owned all of South India, which is a peninsula in the shape of an inverted triangle bound by the Arabian Sea on the west, by the Bay of Bengal on the east and Vindhya and Satpura ranges on the north. The Narmada river flows westwards in the depression between the Vindhya and Satpura ranges which define the northern spur of the Deccan plateau. The Western Ghats run parallel along the western coast and the narrow strip of land between the Western Ghats and the Arabian Sea forms the Konkan region. The Western Ghats continue south until Kanyakumari.
The Eastern Ghats run parallel along the eastern coast and the strip of land between the Eastern Ghats and the Bay of Bengal forms the Coromandel region. Both the ranges meet at the Nilgiri mountains. The Nilgiris run in a crescent approximately along the borders of Tamil Nadu with northern Kerala and Karnataka, encompassing the Palakkad and Wayanad hills and the Sathyamangalam ranges, extending on to the relatively low-lying hills of the Eastern Ghats on the western portion of the Tamil Nadu–Andhra Pradesh border forming the Tirupati and Annamalai hills.
