Our forces advance in Algeria
Our forces have advanced well in the Algerian desert in the past weeks, however we had some unexpected hostile forces and casualties.
The Algerian National People's Army is a very well-trained, modern army with cutting-edge Russian T-90 main battle tanks. Overall they had 500, according to satellite images we've destroyed 387 of them, 113 remained intact. They have some T-55s and T-72s, but those aren't the newest ones.
Overall we've had 289 Leclerc and 41 Leopard 2A4s in Algeria against around 400 enemy tanks.
Our main goal was capturing the airport and the oil field in Ain Salah to stop the oil and gas distribution to the Southern part of the country. We were succesful, however we sustained medium casualties.
856 men, 33 Leclerc and 14 Leopard tanks were lost in the fightings, their PLZ-45 self propelled artillery divisions were placed on dunes, they were in advantage, but finally we succesfully captured those too.
Then our other goal was capturing Timimoun in the middle of the desert.
After encircling it, they've surrendered, only guerilla forces tried to resist but out Caesar artillery system took care of them quicly. We've captured large quantitiy of S-400, S-300 and Pantsir air defense systems at the Timimoun airport.
The 9th Reconassiance Unit has found a secret Scud-ballistic missile launch facility, we've dispatched the 17th Armored division with VCBI and ERBC Jaguars to the site.
We are going to continue our offensive in the desert in the following weeks, we are prepared for guerilla attacks now.
