      EAST AFRO-PAKISTANI MEETING
14 February 1989 - Islamabad, Islamabad Capital Territory, Islamic Republic of Pakistan

| With the collapse of the regime in New Delhi, a chief priority of East Africa's First Citizen Tesfaye Dinka has become restoring relations with the post-Samasta states. The first nation on that list, namely thanks to their reaching out to Addis Abeba, has been chosen to be the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. A nation of millions of over a hundred million and with high hopes, Pakistan is arguably one of the East African Federation's most important potential trade partners and economic allies, and as such First Citizen Dinka hopes to establish good relations with the nation. |

| After arriving in the Presidential Il-14, First Citizen Dinka quickly takes publicity shots for the Pakistani media before he and the rest of his delegation are hauled off into a government motorcade which quickly heads to Aiwan-e-Sadr, situated right in the center of Islamabad's Red Zone. The First Citizen is taken aback by the unique splendor of the city, built during the 1950s and 1960s to serve specifically as a purpose-built capital city for the newly independent Pakistan. After arriving at the Aiwan-e-Sadr, Dinka and his delegation of translators and personal advisers greet the delegation of the Pakistani President before entering the room set out for the negotiations and the discussion. |

First Citizen Dinka: "Asalamualaikum, President Nessar. I give you the utmost thanks for allowing this summit to take place in your beautiful capital. To be completely honest, the beauty of Islamabad might almost top that of Addis Abeba. It truly is a testament to the brilliance and ingenuity of the Pakistani people."
