(Note that I gave up on the old RP where Kyler himself goes to free Clark cause there is no way that happens realistically tbh. I took a bit of a break from these long ones but I suppose it’s time to do a new one. Let’s say Kyler has passed the time by planning this out.)
Just to give some background, Kyler is one of my Senators who is loyal to Clark, my old leader who was overthrown by Alexios. Clark was framed and thrown in jail)
Kyler st first considered breaking out Clark with his own hands, but quickly realized that was idiotic, self destructive, and way too risky.
So instead, he chose to hire a band of mercenaries to break Clark out. This mercenary band is made up of former Fordan special ops troops, numbering around 50. The plan was to separate into three groups. One group would act in disguise as guards, one would drop in like paratroopers to break Clark out. Due to Fordan law, despite Alexios’ best attempts Clark wasn’t in a max security prison. Therefore it wouldn’t be ridiculously hard to break Clark out. This would be referred to as Operation: Tide.
Going with the ocean theme, the Prison Guard group was called ocean, and the Paratrooper group was called stream.
To start, stream dropped in during the dead of night, when even the guards were falling asleep. They dropped in, as stealthy as can be, then planted bombs to blow up the doors of the prison cells and places where the guards would be gathered en mass. Then they left.
Next came group ocean the next morning, and took the roles of numerous guards. Unfortunately, escorting Clark out wouldn’t work, so they’d have to wait for a distraction.
As the clock struck 9 in the morning, the bombs went off successfully, blasting weapon stashed, and guard bedrooms and break rooms. One went off near the main hallway, creating a massive panic to get out. The guards wanted to prevent the prisoners from exiting the interior of the building, but a couple of “newly hired” guards changed that. In the chaos, a guard nabbed Clark as he left the building. The guard snuck along the back of the building before reaching the edge of the fence keeping prisoners in. The guard was able to sneak Clark into a cop car, then ride hard away from the prison. The rest quickly attempted to leave, and they very well did. Clark had been busted out of jail, extremely easily. Too easily it seemed to Kyler. But for now he kept his concerns quiet as he and his newfound soldiers prepared to leave, but no one knew where. Not even Kyler himself.
