WEW LAD
Communism puts more power in the smallest number of people than pretty much any other political ideology than absolute monarchy, and even in absolute monarchy there's still a great number of lords, dukes, earls, and other such noble titles which share in the power.
In communism, there's the head of state, military commanders, and that's about it. Everyone else is oppressed.
Case in point: Every single nation that has ever engaged in communism.
True egalitarianism is a noble goal, except for the fact that pure democracy, the only system in which true egalitarianism can be properly practiced (one person, one vote, nobody's opinion is held above another simply due to a title), never works in large societies such as the U.S. and hardly works in small, almost tribal societies.
Have you ever heard the phrase of "the tyranny of the majority?"
And that isn't even taking into account that egalitarianism is biologically impossible.
And let us go back to the communism/egalitarianism point. The goal of communism is not egalitarian. The goal of communism is equity, which is end-result equality, as opposed to egalitarianism, which is starting-point equality.
Example:
Providing everyone with the same opportunities by funding free public education is egalitarian.
Taking the paychecks of everyone in a factory and splitting it equally amongst the workers despite their jobs or how much work they did is equity.
In short, BETTER DEAD THAN RED! OORAH!
a.k.a. communism is cancer.
