Well, I suppose, but they have to offer something if they want to sell it.
Despite, most DLC updates come with free content too (like the map extension towards India), which you don't see THAT often these days.

The only thing I'm kinda annoyed of is the fact that they always make a quintillion DLCs. But considering how many hours I've played, I gladly throw a few more Euros in their direction. Beats certainly buying EA and Ubisoft stuff.
