Sure. Okay. But you're missing the broader strategic picture here.
First: Submarine warfare is useful only when your enemy needs to move things across a large body of water. This is not the case if you are attacking them; in this case, you are the one uniquely susceptible to submarines harassing your supply lines heading across the ocean to attack Thalasus.
Second: I doubt Escanthea would join an offensive war, simply because it's doubtful they'd have anything to gain, and quite a bit to lose, diplomatically speaking.
Third: No matter how superior the air force, if you can't get them in range, it doesn't matter. I could have 400 B2 Spirits, but if they're 15,000 miles away, they don't have the range to make a round-trip, and that means I can't use them on you. In your case, the only chance you have to use air power in the opening stages is whatever you can launch from a carrier (which will be priority #1 for the Thalasian submarines, air power, and their own missiles), and subsequently whatever aircraft you can send directly from home to a captured landing strip on the Thalasian home islands. You simply will not have air superiority unless you have a convenient ally nearby who allows you military bases on their territory, which I don't think is a likely scenario as Thalasus would treat any such attempt to place a military base in its sphere of influence as an active threat to its continued national survival.
Again, if you are the one being attacked, then the strategic picture is different. But the way I understood and evaluated the likely outcome of such a war, you would have been the aggressor.
It is a bit unlikely. But it doesn't help when you say things like
