Well I am alive - and engaged in (boo-hiss) statist activity.

For example tonight we, my local political party, here (in my little town in England) get to decide whether or not we want to renominate our local Member of Parliament - it should be approved "on the nod", but one can never tell for sure. I am on the side of the local Member of Parliament - but other people may not be.
