But really I don't plan on going to war with Thalasus anytime soon unless say Escanthea declared war. Or Casmaru, probably won't happen anyway
Sure. Okay. But you're missing the broader strategic picture here.
First: Submarine warfare is useful only when your enemy needs to move things across a large body of water. This is not the case if you are attacking them; in this case, you are the one uniquely susceptible to submarines harassing your supply lines heading across the ocean to attack Thalasus.
Second: I doubt Escanthea would join an offensive war, simply because it's doubtful they'd have anything to gain, and quite a bit to lose, diplomatically speaking.
Third: No matter how superior the air force, if you can't get them in range, it doesn't matter. I could have 400 B2 Spirits, but if they're 15,000 miles away, they don't have the range to make a round-trip, and that means I can't use them on you. In your case, the only chance you have to use air power in the opening stages is whatever you can launch from a carrier (which will be priority #1 for the Thalasian submarines, air power, and their own missiles), and subsequently whatever aircraft you can send directly from home to a captured landing strip on the Thalasian home islands. You simply will not have air superiority unless you have a convenient ally nearby who allows you military bases on their territory, which I don't think is a likely scenario as Thalasus would treat any such attempt to place a military base in its sphere of influence as an active threat to its continued national survival.
Again, if you are the one being attacked, then the strategic picture is different. But the way I understood and evaluated the likely outcome of such a war, you would have been the aggressor.
It is a bit unlikely. But it doesn't help when you say things like
So Falbania what do you predict the strategic picture to be if Thalasus was the one to attack (yeah it's very unlikely but let's hear it)
Well NS ate my nice, detailed post, so instead you get a simple precis;
The exact opposite. You'd win handily. Attacking across an ocean is stupid, no matter how good your navy, unless you're fighting dudes without guided missiles and aircraft.
You require a logistical center in at least vague proximity to your enemy, or else you're doing just about nothing of any value and a whole lot of wasting of lives, money, and your own time.
Post self-deleted by Escanthea.
I kind of want to get involved in war later on, so i did the math for my nation on the spending my military uses.
The miltary spending is 35%, and my government expendure is 110 trillion, so 35% of 110 trillion is 38500000000000, or simply, 38 trillion, 500 billion sigmas.
Now, im not gonna be exact cause math is too hard, but this should give you all and idea of what each branch of my military spends.
Navy- 16 trillion Sigmas
Army- 11 Trillion sigmas
Air Force- 10 trillion sigmas
Whatever is left goes to Coast Guard. The funds for each branch can be changed at any given time.

Oh...now I vaguely remember them..
Hah.
IC:
Goopyyian ships are seen patrolling dangerously near Azuran waters, provoking Azuran military ships. Goopyyian military and Azuran military are almost evenly matched, a war seems imminent.
*preemptively declares self neutral* ..not taking any chances
You just came back here and you're already trying to start stuff.
Thalasus and Allouxia
Azuran ships fire warning shots at the patrolling Goopyyian ships. Deadly force is authorized against foreign ships.
Well our alliance was short lived lol
