Anyway very few movies are worth spending $24 at the theatres and bumping shoulders with the crowd for me. I mostly look forward to anime movies and maybe star wars only.

I haven't been to the theater in years, so I have no idea how much it costs. I wait till the movie becomes available on Amazon or Hulu.

Belated answer: Due to their multi-purpose usage in the English language, the translation of those words may depend heavily on context. "Been" will usually translate as "gewesen". "Doing" literally translates to "tuend", but that is virtually never the correct translation ;-)
I know London movies are like 11 quid for a ridiculous theatre!
Movies in Mumbai however, IMAX movies cost like Rs. 300 or something that's $4.6! If you don't go to an IMAX theatre and just go to an average local one (Which are a 1000 times better than London's 'local' theatres then it can cost as low as a $2.
It's not just the money though, it's the quality of the cinema halls. British cinemas (Majority) are terribly designed, a few lights will always stay on and once the green neon "exit" sign door was UNDER the screen. Major distraction man! When Star Wars 7 was released I vowed to not see it in London, I was going for Christmas to Mumbai and I waited 2 weeks to see the movie because I wanted to see it in Mumbai. I saw it in the Dome IMAX and it blew my mind.
It's amazing I don't get to go very often due to work, but I still see maybe 1 or 2 in 2 months or something.
