Revellers looking for a night out dancing have to make Covid-19 test kits and the MySejahtera application part of their party gear.
New guidelines dropped by the Local Government and Housing Ministry today state that those going to nightclubs or pubs must perform a Covid-19 self-test within 24 hours before entry.
Alternatively, premises can conduct tests on patrons. Premises are responsible for ensuring their patrons are tested negative for Covid-19.
And unlike in most places now, partygoers must still check in using MySejahtera when they go to a nightclub or pub.
Once inside, partygoers will have to keep their masks on unless they're eating, drinking, or dancing.
Nightclubs are also allowed to fill up the entire dance floor.
The new guidelines will take effect this Saturday, May 14, meaning nightclubs and pubs can reopen a day earlier than previously announced.
Nightclubs had been the last item on the National Security Council's restricted list, up until the government began the transition to an endemic phase.
Looks like these Islamist fascists have one last dirty trick up their sleeve after all and they've decided to wait till now to suddenly announce these cumbersome rules rather than do so last month. This isn't political at all, no sir. It's totally based on sound science and not because certain Muslims are jealous of the fact that non-Muslims just want to have a good time. It's almost as if, by the mere act of having fun, we're tempting Muslims to renounce their frankly backward faith instead of, you know, just minding our own business.
So off we go from a smaller cage into a slightly larger cage. Note that these rules also apply to Sarawak and Sabah, which enjoy full autonomy from West Malaysia. Or that's what they say anyway and their word is the truth so... Note also that these rules do not and have never applied to places of worship or the Hari Raya celebration because Muslims and other pious people couldn't possibly be as reckless and irresponsible as the rest of us secular, freedom-loving, infidel plebs who don't buy into their religious garbage. Just to clarify, it's the non-Muslim discrimination and the last-minute nature of the shenanigans that bothers me, not the restrictions themselves. Then they have the audacity to "fact-check" other people's "misinformation" and flag inconvenient facts and narratives for like-minded social media companies to take down, which is why Elon Musk's purchase of Twitter is a lifeline to those of us who actually care about free speech and the truth of things.
All Lives Matter. Blue Lives Matter. White Lives Matter. But most importantly, Black Lives Matter. Yet BLM has done nothing to help black people in the slightest. They have done nothing but spread lies and misinformation and incite several months of mass rioting and violence in the middle of a deadly pandemic while the founder of the BLM organization buys expensive Beverly Hills mansions and throws lavish parties, which she has justified as a "safe space for black people" when she knows full well that race has absolutely nothing to do with it. She is the American equivalent of former Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Razak, who, like BLM org founder Patrisse Cullors, has also cynically invoked race in order to illegally swindle his gullible supporters into supporting his lavish lifestyle, which he has done absolutely nothing to earn. Meanwhile, grifters such as Ibram X. Kendi, who has managed to infiltrate Ipsos Mori, and Robin DiAngelo grift their way into positions of outsize influence and earn six-figure sums at speaking engagements with only minimal pushback and have so far refused to debate their critics lest they run the risk of being exposed as the dishonest scammers and swindlers that they really are.
BLM's deceitful propaganda and hateful rhetoric has ended up killing far more black people than ever before due to concerted efforts to defund police departments across the United States. Crime is up massively in Democrat-run cities. Homelessness, fentanyl addiction and open drug scenes, petty theft, and murder are up, and innocent people, particularly black people, are dying in droves while women and girls, many of them black and drug-addled, are vulnerable to rape and sexual exploitation because police departments are severely understaffed and underfunded. San Francisco is particularly notorious for its crime and open drug scenes while Seattle and Portland continue to experience political violence and mass rioting, looting, and vandalism to this day.
(Thankfully, these social problems have been largely confined to south of the Canadian border because Canadians, despite Justin Trudeau's woke government, seem to do things very differently there. This could also explain why housing prices in cities such as Toronto and Vancouver are dozens of times higher relative to living wages compared to U.S. cities. This is also true of Australian, NZ, and British cities. Europeans, too, seem to do far better than Americans when it comes to tackling drug addiction, homelessness, and violent crime, but woke Democrats and progressives have covered their ears.)
Rich white liberals who live in opulent mansions and can afford to hire private security support BLM because they don't have to deal with the often deadly consequences of their actions and rhetoric, consequences that they are now inflicting on poor black people. Rich white liberals and their corporate and political allies and establishment legacy media mouthpieces have turned their backs on both the white, rural working class, whom they deride as racists and bigots, as well as the black, urban working class, whom they deride as oppressed victims who will never amount to anything without their "help".
Selfishly indulging their woke, "kumbaya" racial fantasies that they learned in kindergarten, updating their Facebook profile pics and Twitter bios to virtue signal their support for the latest political fad, and assuaging and projecting their self-inflicted racial guilt to the detriment of disadvantaged communities of color is far more important to rich white liberals than actually helping people in need, while rich black people who have swindled and sold their fellow working-class blacks down the gutter have been more than eager to take full advantage of their white peers' racial guilt in order to selfishly demand more for themselves. Where past generations once flaunted their material wealth, today's young, white liberals prefer to flaunt pre-packaged luxury beliefs that have been spoonfed to them by legacy media and TiKToK memes which, if you dig deeply enough, they don't actually understand or appreciate. Suddenly they are experts on race relations or the War in Ukraine. In fact, they know next to nothing about the situation in Ukraine or the situation in poor, black neighborhoods and they have closed their eyes and ears to the truth. They do this because it "feels good". But feeling good does not translate to tangible gains for the groups they claim to care deeply about.
BLM is a manifestation of class warfare pitting the rich and powerful of all races against the poor of all races. A true, left-wing socialist who champions true racial equality and social justice over phony racial equity and affirmative action would be outraged and would demand that these BLM scammers and demagogues be held accountable for their actions. They would demand that the victims of BLM, mostly black and brown people who have had their homes and businesses in dilapidated, Democrat-run inner-city areas thoroughly looted, systematically trashed, and comprehensively torched to smithereens, be adequately compensated. If anyone ought to pay reparations to black people, it's these progressive folks that love to accuse everyone else (except themselves) of pretty much everything they themselves are guilty of.
BLM is, in fact, anti-black AKA a manifestation and perpetuation of white supremacy and systemic racism, to borrow their woke language. It is not what it claims to be in the slightest. BLM is a scam and a woke cult that harms everyone, especially black people. It is a symptom of the ongoing wokification of once-respected Western, liberal institutions such as the ACLU, the SPLA, the ADL, and even Amnesty International, or branches and chapters thereof, top-tier Ivy League universities such as Harvard and Yale, and even the lower echelons of the judicial and political system. Hence, the often hyperbolic allegations about a "deep state conspiracy" emanating from the Right.
And yes, even Reuters, a supposedly centrist and apolitical news outlet based in the UK, hasn't been spared. It's not about race. It's about seizing absolute power and control over people's minds and lives. Luckily, more and more black and brown people of color from actual, working class backgrounds are slowly waking up to woke, progressive Democrat, upper-class, white liberal lies and manipulation and walking away from the elitist, authoritarian, pro-establishment Democratic Party in droves. This has been evident since 2020 at the latest. The Republican Party is now the party of the working class. Republicans are arguably more socialist than Democrats.
I also want to say that the junior clerk who leaked the draft of the Roe v. Wade ruling needs to be fired and permanently blacklisted by the civil service, if not arrested and charged with espionage, treason, or whatever crime they can be charged with. That this even happened in the first place is evidence of the woke infiltration of America's institutions, including even the highly secretive Supreme Court. Maybe this junior clerk wanted to influence the outcome of the coming midterms or encourage radical feminists and progressive Democrats to dox, harass, and threaten violence against the offending Justices with the aim of reversing their position simply because they personally disagreed with the draft opinion. If this is true, it would constitute a flagrant assault on the judiciary. They must be named and shamed and an example must be made out of them.
A Supreme Court draft has never been leaked prior to an actual ruling being issued until now, and this kind of gross misconduct should be a crime if it isn't already. After all, jurors are barred from discussing the details of an ongoing court case unless the presiding judge has agreed to televise the proceedings in the public interest. Media gag orders can also be issued to avoid unduly influencing the members of the jury panel. These precautions are taken in order to protect the independence of the judiciary and uphold due process at all costs.
I think the Democrats basically stabbed themselves in the back with the way they mishandled the issue of abortion over the past 50+ years. While most countries settled the issue democratically through years of concerted activism and debate resulting in long-overdue legislation or constitutional amendments resting on top of a growing political consensus in favor of abortion rights on both sides, Americans settled it through the judicial system, thus paving the way for the gradual politicization of the judiciary and the stagnation of the abortion debate. While liberals and Democrats grew complacent and never really bothered to properly make their case in good faith to opponents of abortion and the fence-sitters in between or legislate abortion rights at the federal level, conservatives redoubled their efforts to peacefully and calmly overturn Roe v. Wade and slash abortion protections in one fell swoop without resorting to the kind of mass political violence and disorder that Democrats and progressives have been openly inciting and engaging in since 2016, and especially since 2020.
Then in 2018, Trump SCOTUS nominee Brett Kavanaugh was subjected to conveniently timed and politically motivated false rape allegations during his confirmation hearing. Little did progressive feminists realize it at the time, but this might have been a pivotal moment with regards to the ultimate fate of Roe v. Wade. The ordeal that Kavanaugh was forced to endure just might have radicalized him into "teaching the women of this country a lesson" by voting to overturn Roe v. Wade rather than uphold the ruling as "settled law" as Senator Susan Collins said he would, and I can fully understand why he would change his mind on the ruling at that very moment. If this kind of thing ever happened to me and I was feeling particularly vindictive, I would ensure that all the women in the country pay a very heavy price in the form of nine whole months of agony and social ostracism. This is who these feminists and Democrats were messing with. Brett Kavanaugh is now exacting his revenge.
Had he not been subjected to this despicable ordeal from radical feminist social justice warriors engaging in a Jan. 6 style protest on the steps of Capitol Hill while their Democrat allies in Congress turned what would have been just another mundane confirmation hearing into a highly sensationalized show trial, and had moderate Democrats not been cornered in an elevator by women seeking to weaponize their personal history of sexual assault in order to demonize half the human population with a third leg in the middle as rapists and pedophiles, not only would Kavanaugh not be voting to overturn Roe v. Wade, but it is entirely possible he might never have been confirmed in the first place. And just like that, Roe v. Wade wouldn't be on the chopping block today.
To make matters worse, many progressives such as AOC have taken to removing all references to women in their speeches and rhetoric in order to appease trans activists, with the ACLU even going so far as to butcher the late Ruth Bader Ginsburg's quote on Roe v. Wade by surreptitiously replacing the word women with the word persons in square brackets. This sudden pussyfooting around gender by progressives was largely absent as recently as 2019 (Bill Maher was roundly mocked when he brought it up at the time), and this trend has been nothing but a huge boon to anti-abortion activists. After all, if pro-choice Democrats struggle to even define the word women, then whose rights are they defending exactly?
Even the radical feminists themselves appear to have been blindsided, which should come as no surprise as they have been far too busy engaging in constant infighting with trans activists and younger pro-trans feminists over bathrooms, sports, and pronouns. All of that now pales in comparison to what's currently at stake for women in America. Unfortunately for them, the progressive camp is now divided and in complete disarray and unable to mount an effective challenge against pro-life activists and conservatives more broadly due to years of excessive navel-gazing and infighting.
A last-ditch attempt by Democrats in Congress to legislate abortion protections will not avail the women of America should Roe v. Wade go to the dogs. No amount of threats, doxxing, and Jan. 6-style violence will alter this abominable outcome. In fact, progressive Democrat violence will likely have the opposite effect and it is American women, many of whom are black and impoverished, who will stand to suffer the most. While Republicans are undoubtedly to blame for seeking to overturn a woman's right to choose, the Democrats will also have the blood of women on their hands due to their smug complacency and gross mishandling of the issue over the years.

The East Malaysian state of Sabah, ostensibly more autonomous and secular than West Malaysia, has decided to ban dancing in pubs and nightclubs in addition to requiring that all patrons be fully vaccinated and boosted regardless of age or initial series administered.
If they're going to ban dancing, then they might as well not allow pubs and nightclubs to reopen in the first place. I hope Sarawak doesn't go the same way. Our state government also has the authority to impose additional COVID restrictions on top of pre-existing federal restrictions as it has done in the past. This is East Malaysia. This is not who we are.
Shanghai continues to lock down harder than ever before even though daily COVID cases have fallen sharply according to official figures. Not only are people sealed in their apartments for weeks at a time and barred from stepping out of their front doors, but in some cases, food deliveries are frozen for three days straight. People are literally crying and begging for food. Walls and barbed wire have been erected all over the place. Searchlights and drones are also in widespread use. Shanghai is literally an open-air prison right now.
Beijing, which has closed down schools and businesses, is officially not in lockdown yet. Given what's happening in Shanghai, It doesn't take a genius to work out what Beijing might be like once it officially goes into lockdown.
If even a single person tests positive, everyone who lives in the same building gets sent to a concentration camp quarantine facility where they're very likely to catch COVID if they haven't caught the bug already. People are literally scrambling to escape whenever they can.
And just to be clear, the word "dynamic" in "dynamic zero-COVID policy" doesn't mean "not literally zero-COVID" or "milder COVID restrictions". It means the rules constantly and arbitrarily change for no apparent reason with the effect of making people's lives even more intolerable than they already are. Health workers are "disinfecting" AKA spraying inside people's homes and inside people's refrigerators; the very homes whose occupants have been forcibly evacuated from, in many cases dragged outside and into vans kicking and screaming while their pets are bludgeoned to death. Anyone who resists is in for a savage beating. In China, you don't ask questions. You just do as they say no matter how ridiculous it sounds. If they tell you to stab your son Isaac to death as a blood offering to the Party, you do it.

yeah good luck with that ever happening again. Too many let downs and consistent/persistent blocks to anything getting passed will always kill the creative freedoms and sour/rot the orchard of activity. People feel like everything they do is stifled and that's a cause and effect of loss of motivation. The reason for all past constitutions failing is due to the founder unwilling to delegate power to other people and only allowing for constitutions to even be considered if the document favors them. This making it harder to create a proper constitution that can actually move the region along.
Majority of active regions, the founder has no IC power unless in the event of a regional emergency in order to keep the founder as a purely OOC role in regional affairs. Then the founder creates another account and uses it to get elected into regional offices like everyone else. This generally provides good feedback to the founder if people don't vote for them. The Elected Head of State can dismiss members of the Judicial Branch with a majority of present voters via a "vote of no confidence" by the citizens. This is how active regions do things. It will be hard for this region to become active again if nobody feels they have any ounce of power/opinion to do anything for the betterment of the region as a whole.

Every time we have one of these "constitutional crisis" I offer up this, so here it is again. Anyone is free to use it as you see fit, edit it, add to it, delete from it, or don't.
The Union of Allied States is a union of many nations holding many different political ideologies who work together for the common interests of the union.
The independence of the nations of the union is to be held sacrosanct, and no nation shall be turned away due to classification or how they handle national grievances.
The nations will collectively elect representatives that will make up a government consisting of three branches to administrate, legislate, and adjudicate the union.
This government is to uphold the rights of the nations and is to strive for fair and equal treatment of all nations in all regional affairs.
Section 1 - The Rights of all Citizens
A Citizen is defined as a WA nation that has resided in the union for at least 3 consecutive days.
Alternatively, a nation without WA membership may become a citizen if granted citizenship by the Chairman and approved by the court.
Every Citizen of the union shall be granted the following rights;
1) Equality
a) Equal treatment by the government to all nations in all regional matters, the right to a fair and impartial trial.
b) No Citizen shall be discriminated against for their gender, age, religion, ethnicity, race, or political opinions.
c) Every Citizen is equal before the law. No one shall be elevated above the law or discriminated against by the law.
2) Independence
a) Each Citizen, being a nation of their own sovereignty, shall have the right to be independent in their national decisions, without hindrance from the union.
b) Citizens shall never be restricted within the union due to they way they administrate their nation.
3) Free Speech
a) Unless used to incite violence or encourage illegal activity, all speech shall be permitted by the government and never suppressed or censored.
b) Citizens are permitted to debate, support, or oppose legislation, ideas, or opinions in any UAS regional chats without hindrance.
c) The Citizens shall be uninfringed in their association, expression, right to a free press, right to protest, and rights to assemble.
4) Participation
a) Citizens have the right to participate in regional affairs without coercion from other Citizens or government officials.
b) They have the right to vote how they choose, with their votes never being held against them.
c) They shall have the right to petition the government on policy issue without holding any offices, elected or not.
5) Transparency
a) The government, upon request from a Citizen, is to make any reports or documents available within a reasonable time period.
b) The government shall never plot in secrecy and shall never work against the common good of the union or the Citizens of the union.
Section 2 - Suspension of Rights
1) The Courts
a) Upon receiving a guilty verdict by a court of the Union of Allied States, a Citizens rights can be suspended or revoked at the discretion of the court.
b) A Citizens rights to equality and independence, as described in Sections 1.1 and 1.2 of this article, shall never be suspended or revoked by any regional courts.
2) Martial Law
a) Martial law, if enacted by The Chairman, will suspend all rights guaranteed under this Constitution,
except for a Citizens rights to equality and independence as described in Sections 1.1 and 1.2 of this article.
Section 1 - The Citizens Assembly
1) Once a nation fulfills all the requirements to obtain citizenship, as described in Article 2, Section 1 of this Constitution, the nation, now a Citizen, is appointed to The Citizens Assembly.
2) Citizens hold the right to introduce Assembly Resolutions via petition. A petition must gain 1/3 support of The Citizens Assembly to move on in the legislative process.
3) Citizens hold the right to call for the impeachment of any government official. A petition for impeachment must be supported by at least 1/3 of The Citizens Assembly.
4) Citizens hold the right to call for a recall election for any office or the elected government. A petition for recall election must be supported by at least 1/3 of The Citizens Assembly.
5) Citizens hold the option to designate a Speaker of the Assembly. The Speaker may not hold any government office, but shall be granted communications authority.
6) Citizens shall have the ability to form political parties. For a political party to be officially recognized by the government, it must contain at least two WA members.
Section 2 - The Senate
1) Each recognized political party shall appoint one Senator for every 2 party members belonging to the World Assembly. The manner of appointment shall be up to each political party.
2) The Senate shall conduct its sessions inside the UAS Government Board. No bill shall become a law unless it has been posted and debated on the UAS Government Board,
then voted publicly in the regional poll of the Union of Allied States.
3) Senators hold the right to introduce Senate Bills.
4) Senators hold the right to introduce amendments to the Constitution.
5) The Senate shall adopt rules for its proceedings appropriate by law.
6) The Senate shall have the power to order the closure of any embassy.
7) The Senate shall have the power to create any new elected offices and repeal such offices that were made.
8) The Senate shall have the power to accept or reject Regional Mergers and Colonies.
9) The Senate shall have the power to impeach any regional officer. Impeachments must pass by a 2/3 majority of votes cast.
Section 3 - Legislative Process
1) Assembly Resolutions
a) Upon introduction into The Citizens Assembly, a petition for an Assembly Resolution will need to gain support of 1/3 of Citizens.
b) If the Assembly Resolution achieves the support needed in The Citizens Assembly, it will be sent to The Senate where it will need to achieve a majority vote.
c) If the Assembly Resolution achieves the senatorial support needed, it will be sent to The President to pass or veto.
d) If the Assembly Resolution fails to achieve the support needed in either legislative chamber, or is vetoed, it can be reintroduced in 30 days.
2) Amendments
a) The Senate shall have the sole power to pass amendments to this Constitution.
b) Upon introduction into The Senate, an Amendment will need to gain the support of 2/3 of Senators.
c) If the Amendment achieves the support needed in The Senate it will be sent to The Chairman to pass or veto.
d) Vetoes on Amendments may be overturned by a unanimous vote in The Senate.
e) If the Amendment fails to achieve 2/3 support in The Senate, it can be reintroduced in 30 days.
3) Senate Bills
a) Upon introduction into The Senate, a Senate Bill will need to achieve a majority vote.
b) If the Senate Bill achieves a majority vote in The Senate it will be sent to The President to pass or veto.
c) Vetoes on Senate Bills may be overturned by a 2/3 vote in The Senate.
d) If the Senate Bill fails to achieve a majority vote in The Senate, it can be reintroduced in 30 days.
Section 1 - Non-elected Officials
1) The Chairman
a) The Chairman of the Union of Allied States shall be tied to the founder, South Waterford.
b) As the founder is a vassal nation of Unified Waterford, all proclamations from South Waterford shall be treated as the words of the founder.
c) The Chairman shall be the Head-of-State of the Union, and viewed as a symbol of regional unity, and as such shall be prohibited from voting in any legislative or election polls or joining a political party.
d) The Chairman shall have the power to issue Decrees. It may be subject to judicial review in the same manner as other laws. The Senate may strike down a Decree with a 2/3 majority of votes cast.
e) The Chairman has the authority to declare Martial Law in times of great danger, distress, and cases of invasion and may rule by decree until the emergency subsides.
f) The Chairman has authority to impose a password lock to the union when the public safety requires it in case of rebellion, invasion or imminent danger.
g) The Chairman has the sole authority to remove the executive powers from the WA Delegate when the safety of the Union requires it. Those powers may be restored by The Senate via a 2/3 majority of votes cast.
h) The Chairman shall have the sole power to sign or veto amendments to this Constitution as described in Article 3, Section 3.2.
i) The Chairman shall have the power to suspend the execution of sentences in criminal cases and to grant pardons for crimes committed in violation of the laws of the Union of Allied States.
j) The Chairman has the power to fill any vacancies in any office if the situation deems it necessary.
k) The Chairman may grant citizenship to any non-WA member nation as described in Article 2, Section 1 of this Constitution.
2) The Vice-Chairman
a) The office of the Vice-Chairman of the Union of Allied States shall be tied to the United Osean Federation.
b) The Vice-Chairman shall have the authority to issue Decree Laws. The Chairman may strike down such Decree Laws. The Senate may also strike down a Decree with a 2/3 majority of votes cast.
c) The Vice-Chairman shall have the authority to declare Martial Law in times of great danger, distress, and cases of invasion and may rule by decree until the emergency subsides. This may be suspended by the Chairman.
d) The Vice-Chairman is prohibited from joining a political party or vote in any elections in the union.
e) The position of Vice-Chairman shall hold the position of Roleplay Coordinator.
f) Role-players Club activities of the UAS shall be coordinated by the Roleplay Coordinator.
g) The Roleplay Coordinator may also appoint anyone to aid his work at his discretion.
h) The Role Player’s Club does not have any connection with The Senate’s Role-play and bill simulation function.
i) The Roleplay Coordinator role can be appointed by the Vice-Chairman to another nation in the event that they are unable to continue Roleplay activities.
j) This Constitution guarantees the Role Player's Club independence in functioning, and that it shall not receive interference by the government. Citizens must be granted approval by the Vice-Chairman to take part in Role Play.
k) Vassal Nations may be moved into the UAS Roleplay region at the discretion of the Vice-Chairman.
l) The UAS Role-players map will be the responsibility of the Vice-Chairman.
m) The Vice-Chairman shall be responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of the UAS Keeper nation. Current Government officials shall be allowed access.
n) Should the Chairman fail to log in for a period of 7 consecutive days, the Vice-Chairman shall automatically become Acting Chairman.
o) Should the Chairman cease to exist, the Vice-Chairman shall become Chairman, and ownership of the founder nation Unified Waterford shall pass to him.
Section 2 - Elected Officials
1) The President
a) The President of the Union of Allied States shall act as the Co-Head-of-Government. They shall have World Assembly Delegate, Executive, Appearance, Border Control, Communications, Embassies, and Polls authority.
b) The President shall hold the office of World Assembly Delegate. All Citizens must endorse the President as soon as they login and are notified of the election results.
c) No nation shall be President unless, on the date of the election, the nation has been resident of the Union of Allied of States for 21 consecutive days, and must be a Citizen of the union.
d) The President shall have the power of issuing Executive Orders, which may be used to enforce existing laws, or implement any policy per this Constitution and laws of the Union of Allied States.
e) Executive Orders may not be used to create new laws. Executive Orders may be subjected to judicial review. The Senate may strike down an Executive Order with a majority of votes cast.
f) The President upon taking office shall issue an Executive Order, outlining the cabinet, including the members with their respective titles and the duties and roles of the members.
g) The President shall have the authority to pass or veto Senate Bills as described in Article 3, Section 3.3 of this Constitution.
h) The President may not, at any time, occupy or attempt to occupy any additional Executive or Legislative positions, be it permanent or temporary, during their term as President.
i) In the event the President is inactive for 5 consecutive days, ceases to exist, is impeached, or otherwise unable to carry on the Presidency, a presidential election shall be called to elect a president for the remaining term.
j) The President shall exercise other powers and functions and discharge other duties assigned to them by this Constitution or by law.
2) Presidential Electoral Procedure
a) Citizens shall directly elect the President for a term of 2 months with a majority of votes cast. No term limit shall be established.
b) Voting shall occur over a total of 48 hours.
c) Procedures of the vote, the calculation of votes, and the announcement of results shall be handled by The Vice-Chairman.
d) Any protests of the results of elections shall be petitioned to The Supreme Court who shall decide, based on the evidences presented, if the election results are valid, and if necessary, demand a recall election.
e) The President shall be endorsed by all citizens immediately following announcements of the election results.
Section 1 - The Supreme Court
1) All Judicial powers shall be vested in the Supreme Court of the Union of Allied States.
2) The Chief Justice of the Supreme Court shall be appointed by the Chairman.
3) The Chief Justice shall adopt rules for Supreme Court proceedings appropriate by law.
4) The Chief Justice shall rule on all criminal cases.
5) The Chief Justice has the sole authority to declare any bill or law unconstitutional.
6) The Chief Justice shall be prohibited from voting in any regional matter and is prohibited from being a member of the Executive or Legislative branches.
7) The Chief Justice shall be prohibited from joining a political party.
8) The Chief Justice shall be granted Communications and Border Control authority.
Section 2 - Judicial Review and Case Law
1) At any time, any nation may petition the Chief Justice of the Supreme court to rule on the legality or constitutionality of any passed legislation.
2) Any laws that breach or contradict this Constitution shall be nullified and shall have no legal effects.
3) Precedents and judicial decisions shall be considered as part of the laws of the region. The Courts decisions must be followed and faithfully executed by all branches of governments.
4) The Judicial Branch shall have the authority to define terms in laws when such terms are not clearly defined.
5) Such definitions must be based on the context of the law, and may be repealed and replaced by The Senate through laws.
6) The Judicial Branch shall have the authority to utilize judicial decisions to make temporary arrangements to resolve cases only when no other law provides a clear solution to the event.
This document shall take effect immediately upon ratification.
A transitional government will be appointed by the Chairman upon ratification.
All laws and Decrees shall remain in effect until the Senate repeals them or the Court declares them invalid.
Not recognizing faults doesn't excuse someone of their faults. Refusal and often times denial to look in the mirror and realize there could seriously be an issue can lead to some ill after effects for those around them. If that was the case, anyone and everyone ignorant of law would be found automatically not guilty based upon the fact they were ignorant to their own behavior and wrong doings.
