The Electronic Welfare Support and Services Act 2020 introduced the Essential Choice Initiative (more commonly called ShannēAid after President Shannēhan), which overhauled the existing welfare system of the Tsunterlands. Under this policy, individuals eligible for welfare receive electronic vouchers via government-issued bank cards, which can be used to access essential goods and services such as healthcare, education, food, and clothing from government-designated private providers. These providers, in turn, redeem the vouchers for monetary reimbursement from the government.

Something really cathartic about writing such a neurotic POV. Also, I wanted to ask 
Wellsia, would you be up for me making Avrazhi Khans historic vassals of the Wellsian monarchy (a la Central Asian Khans becoming vassals of the Czars) until after the Imperial War? Thought it could be some fun context for the petty antagonism we've got going between Himilco and Giladev. Plus, a Southern Argean front in the Imperial War could be a fun place for some 'Lawrence of Arabia' style shenanigans.
