So, I'm starting to write my way from an absolute monarchy to a constitutional monarchy, then from there to a democratic socialist state all before IW1
Many more words to be written.
Segentova, Dormill and Stiura, Athara magarat, and Serpens Land
If you're going to rip the code from my factbooks, at least have the decency to acknowledge you did in the dispatch.
Domanania, Ioudaia, Balnik, New aapelistan, and 9 othersSegentova, Dormill and Stiura, Thromsa, Torom, Aizcona, Serpens Land, Westmoor isles, The Tsunterlands, and Jeriga
Oof
Segentova, Serpens Land, and Jeriga
Perhaps...I should have an Imperial War factbook that is much easier to edit.
Yep, canal's just a fixer-upperer. It looks like Roen and Daz will be able to hammer out the gael front, i can do work in central argus and sawneeak will work itself out.
So as long as I can get certain stuff from Gael and the Canal, everything else will fall into place for a headcanon dispatch.

TBD dispatch
Domanania, San Montagna, Torom, and Weinam
Do you mind switching the coup heading to "liberation of keverai?" My understanding is that the focus for that is keverai and not The United Partitions (please correct me uppy if that's incorrect)
Aye, added it right below the coup part.
Update and relevant information for future posting in The Rains RP now up:
viewtopic.php?f=4&t=503114&p=38714577#p38714577
Still enough time to jump into the roleplay if you'd like to - just drop a message into the OOC.
Domanania, The Tsunterlands, New jacobland, Torom, Solaryia, Martenyika, Serpens Land, Westmoor isles
Domanania, San Montagna, Alteran republics, and Solaryia
The weekly update. Again some red figures, but I guess that the start of summer, the exam period, and perhaps the fact that people in countries that are on track with their vaccination programmes may want to go outside for a bit and meet real people, are to blame.

The Dispatch of the Month is a program launched and run by the Office of Information. As stated before, the program involves the office featuring a dispatch it likes and feels the need to commend. The program was done in order to stimulate regional activity, encourage creativity, improve writing skills, and boost the overall nationbuilding quality.
The following requirements need to be met in order for a dispatch to be eligible for nomination:
Author must be in the region and regional map
Dispatch will have to be posted within the month
We determine the Dispatch of the Month results through a number of criteria. Each are worth 10 points, and the highest total score you can achieve is 40. The criteria are:
Uniqueness: What makes it different from other dispatches and nominees.
Creativity: How original and creative the dispatch itself is.
Visual Appealingness: How appealing the dispatch is.
Information: How informative the dispatch is.
You can also nominate any dispatch (yes, even yours) so long that it meets our guidelines. This greatly helps us reach a larger number of dispatches and possible nominees. However, only the dispatch with the highest total points based off our criteria will claim the title of Dispatch of the Month.

It's slowly coming along. ty Ainslie for the map.
Prior to the war, Domanania was a signatory of the Nolon City Naval Arms Treaty. As a part of that, they were allocated a large allowance in 1922 for naval construction, during the height of their power. The Federation was focused on a strategy around heavy ships, and had very few carriers at the start of the war. They had a sizable number of both light and heavy cruisers, with destroyers focusing on being fast and cheap. The navy also maintained a large submarine fleet, which proved to be most successful throughout the war.
When the civil war broke out, the navy was practically split apart and controlled by 3 different sides. This however came down to 2 sides as in 1935 the FWD captured the last port of the People's Army, and the ships currently in port.
Naval Forces of the Doman War
Ship Controllers:
Junta (Military Junta)
FWD (Free Workers)
Domanania after the 1922 Naval Treaty was in a bind when it came to their heavy vessels. However, at the time, they only operated 2 converted ocean liners that served as aircraft carriers (later classified Escort Carriers). These did not break the limitations of the treaty, and the Federation would only build one purpose built light carrier before the start of the war. At the start of the war, all carriers were using outdated aircraft and were ineffective against most targets in direct combat. They were primarily used for spotting surface ships.
During the first month of the Magarati Invasion, the Gíraets was sunk. The Kodgurae, controlled by the Junta, was sunk in 1938 defending Tawunt from another Magarati naval invasion. The FWD controlled Koduraíae would survive the war and be scrapped in 1947.

After the naval treaty of 1922, Domanania strongly believed in battleship supremacy. They had a number of dreadnought battleships built from 1910-1918, and continued to build newer battleships after the 1922 naval treaty. The navy had 4 Dreadnoughts, and two superdrednoughts. A third superdrednought was being built when the 1922 treaty was signed, and it was scrapped, with its guns being repurposed to coastal forts. The older Drednoughts underwent extensive refits in the interwar period, modernizing their guns, armor, and systems.
Most of the battleships were sunk during the war, with some surviving until after the war. Only some ships were able to be salvaged after being sunk, thanks to the fact that they were sunk in shallow parts of the coast and harbors.

While the naval doctrine focused on heavy ships such as battleships and heavy cruisers, the light cruisers built by the Federation were designed to counter heavy destroyers. They were meant to be an intermediary between these destroyers and other light cruisers of the era. These ships had a good service record and some would survive well into the 1950's, with others lasting until the 60's with missile retrofits. Only 4 ships would be sunk during the Doman-Magarati and Imperial wars.

Domanania had a variation of destroyers, some being WW1 designs, while others were more modern. The navy in paticular prefered cheap, and fast destroyers that would provide a support roll to the other larger ships of the navy. However, some attempts to create larger, more powerful destroyers were made, but very few were made. After the wars, Destroyers would make up a large portion of Federation ships on any side, thus shifting the priority for future developments.

Domanania maintained a large fleet of submarines, primarially to create a zone in the Mesder Sea that would blockade potential enemies. However with the start of the Civil war, these submarines were used to hinder supplies routes on both sides. A paculiar development was a series of Cruiser Submarines were repurposed to run the Magarati blockade and deliver supplies. These submarines became designed to avoid combat, while other submarines would harrass Magarati shipping in the Mesder, and later on Neo-Imperialist shipping as well.

Domanania, Ioudaia, San Montagna, and Serpens Land
Maybe the reason Argusian nations are so large is because the TWI map uses the Gall-Peters Projection
Athara magarat, Wellsia, Serpens Land, and Jeriga
Vanc said so in the past I think.
Also, Magarat is literally the Center of the Isles and that has kind of shaped some views IC (technically San Montagna is but they are a nation built on stolen Khas-Kirati clay anyway so they don't count :P )
San Montagna, The United Partitions, and Jeriga
The current map is an AM conspiracy
