I still have some brides and the occasional groom to be named in Nhoor's royal family tree. Please TG me to discuss details if you're interested.

The House of Cenharruc (Twtus li Cenharrucili) was the last Archducal dynasty of Ta̦rleqh and subsequently the Royal dynasty of Nhoor between 1608 and 2017. As of King Armhad III it was officially the House of Cenharruc-Mgar or (in Nhoorified form) Cenharruc-Migarh, but in general people continued to call it Cenharruc for short. The dynasty was founded by the Osean Barhèn K'avene Yilema, who was appointed as Barhèn in 1604, at first for a limited term, but he was able to extend his tenure and assume the Archducal title. After the Unification of 1644 the Archducal titles of Ta̦rleqh, Orleqh, and Camhɵrlanh were replaced by the King of Nhoor.

The House of Cenharruc has two important cadet branches: the House of Cenharruc-Mgar, descending from princess Calavī (1856 - 1923), which contains a line of pretenders to the imperial throne of Khas-Kirat; and the House of Wolf, descending from princess Elerhī (1842 - 1902), which contains the modern royal families of Havalland and, since 2020, Nhoor.

NB: "foreign" will be names of foreign princes and princesses who married members of the Royal Family of Nhoor.

Cenharruc-Mgar pretenders to the imperial throne of Khas-Kirat
When princess Calavī went against her brother King Armhad III's orders not to pursue a claim on the Khas-Kirat throne after the direct female line went extinct in 1909, she and her descendants were excluded from the line of succession to the throne of Nhoor by royal decree in 1912. The claim is maintained until today and the current pretender of the Cenharruc-Mgar line has been princess Akíàlá (*1965) since 2021. By the aforementioned royal decree, Princess Calavī's descendants have the right to style themselves 'Prince(ss) Mgar of Nhoor'.

Potential pretenders to the throne of Nhoor
In addition, descendants of the two sons of princess Anhī (1906 - 1988, Khas-Kirat pretender from 1945 to her death), including her surviving second son himself (*1934), could express a claim on the throne of Nhoor if they would be able to determine which of the uncles and cousins would have the best rights according to the existing male primogeniture rules; disagreement has lead to a small feud within the family, which is however completely useless as long as the royal decree of 1912 isn't overturned.

Totally, if you’re around in the medieval times i think Viking raiders and some retaliation from me would be good until the later centuries until we have to stick together because we’re monarchs.

American voter turnout is extremely low compared to other developed countries. The cause is up for debate, but I personally think that most of it is because most people's political views don't align with either of the big parties, and thus feel that there's no point in voting, since you'll always be choosing the candidate you hate the least.

Gonna stop you here bud. Sanders campaign died for a few reasons, and it's not because people were voting for Biden lol

1. His supporters didn't turn out to vote. Despite having such a fervant backing online, the youth vote (like, 40 and below) was and is consistently abysmal at actually showing up. Pretty consistently less than 20% which is unacceptable. The only reason Republicans are ever elected is because old people are the only ones who vote come hell or high water

2. He can't win the black vote. His policies are policies meant for middle class white americans whether you want to admit that or not. Medicare for all and free college are not high on the priority list for people who have to work multiple jobs to feed their families and who have spent years being tossed around broken systems to believe in grandiose promises.

3. He alienates the fence sitters. Despite what the online hordes would have you believe, not every moderate is a wannabe republican. There's just a lot of people who don't think these sweeping changes are going to work. There's also a lot of people who think "Socialist" is a slur (not that I think well of any of these kinds of people, but they still exist) who would rather be caught dead than vote Red (though they only vote red so idek)

The low youth voter turnout is due to a persistent effort by the upper class, specifically the conservative upper class, to disenfranchise anyone who might spark reform by convincing them that the vote means nothing. Free healthcare and higher education benefits literally everyone, and moderates and fence sitters are no good cowards that would allow Adolf Hitler into office before compromising their godawful political ideals.

And before the accusations fly, in general I like what Sanders stood for.

But at the same time I'm pragmatic enough to realize even if he did win the election (though I can't be convinced he'd have a better chance than Biden) he wouldn't be able to get anything passed because he's antagonistic and uncooperative to the people he needs on his side to pass these kinds of reforms.

This country is doomed if we follow that mindset. The entrenched 1% will never allow gradual progress to occur. True change can only be made by liquidating them and preventing any others to rise. That we have allowed billionaires to even exist in their current form is a critical failure of the current system.

I will also point out that he never said he was dropping out of the race. He was suspending his campaign (i.e. no more advertisments) to fight the current pandemic. He said that he intends to fight for the nomination until the convention. He has not removed his name from any ballets, and has asked that his supporters still vote for him. Media who have been against bernie since 2016 are the only ones saying he has dropped from the race, which is unfortuneatly causing some of the less active of his supporters, or even on the fence supporters, to give up and go for Joe Biden.

I'm in no way supporting the Republican party. I think many of them should be lined up against a wall and shot dead for being the traitors they are. The Republican party is rotten to the core and is in dire need of reform. The only thing they care about is following the money, and it's frankly terrifying how easily such a large amount of the population has been brainwashed into thinking The Party has their best interests in mind. It's nothing but erosion of the truth, safeguards, the core tenets of Democracy and what America (theoretically) stands for, and the f*cking planet we live on.

The low youth turnout still falls squarely on the shoulders of the people who dont vote. It's your own damn fault for not voting. Period. If someone tells you that your vote doesn't matter and you just shrug your shoulders and go with whatever they say, you're still the problem. They're also just f*cking lazy and apathetic because many live in their echo chambers where it seems like everyone is on the same side. "It doesn't matter if I don't go to vote today because I know a bunch of people who are Sanders supporters" is basically the bystander effect in action. Everyone thinks someone else will have done it. It blows my mind how much double think goes into "it's hard to vote!!!" when there's a large amount of people who still do anyways

This being said, the Republican party (and I'd argue conservatives as a whole but that's a deeper pitfall I'm not getting into right now) has every incentive to make voting as hard as possible for the disenfranchised. What they did in Wisconsin, for example, is completely disgusting. It's no coincidence that they block attempts for mail in voting. It's no coincidence they shut down tons of inner city voting stations. It's no coincidence the Senate has been blocking the election security committee from doing their job. Its no coincidence rural votes are weighted heavier than urban votes. Trump was completely correct when he said Republicans would never be elected again if it was easier to vote.

Please explain how everyone who is a moderate or a fence sitter are cowards. Monolithic overhauls of systems as large and complex as healthcare and education can't be handwaved into existence. What if some people want M4A, but also oppose heavy handed restrictions against gun ownership? What if someone lives in a ghetto on the wrong side of the tracks and just wants to guarantee a hot meal on the table and to not get shot on the way home?

You may not want to admit it, but you're part of the problem, and people like you are in no small part why there's a good chance we're in for another 4 years (and decades to come, with the unapologetic court stacking) of utter sh*t. People who somewhat agree with you are still allies you need against the people who stand against everything you believe in

Corçon

The Corçon Commune, officially, though rarely used or mentioned, the Free Territory of Pratara, or commonly known as just Corçon, resulted when Brigadier General Cézar Navarro of the Red Army attempted to form a stateless anarchist society during the Second Prataran Civil War (1929 to 1936). His attempt was nominally successful, but failed to achieve full autonomy in the long run. The territory is organised under a complex system of syndicates and libertarian communes of various industries which operate and run under the protection of Cézar’s Insurgent Revolutionary Army, known within the Commune as PeaceKeepers. The territory has an estimated population of around 300,000 inhabitants, though official census' for population, religion, or demographics aren't kept or maintained.

The Corçon Commune was established with the Truce of Trocos 12 December 1936. After the Monarchists failed to conquer the island after a two month-long siege and bombardment, a treaty was signed by King Carlos I and Premier Cézar Navarro to establish an “autonomous and stateless society guided by the principles of communism.”

A Vanguard of “notable citizens” and IRA officers was set up in the city of Trocos, which would later become the de facto capital of the territory. In late May 2001, a combination of Kingdom's Guardsmen and Grenadiers blockaded the island and began an invasion of the northern half of the island in an attempt to reclaim the island under Prataran dominion. The combined force of 38,000 was met with an unexpectedly large and well prepared force of guerrilla combatants led by a young TBD NATION immigrant now called Cézar, after the Red Army general, who proved himself to be a very capable military officer and military strategist; while also being an incredible orator and politician able to unite desperate and disgruntled people behind his cause.

As the territory is self-organized along anarchist principles, references to "control" and "government" are highly contentious. For example, the Vanguard, often cited as a form of government (with Cézar as their "leader"), plays a primarily advisory or mediatorary role, with each Vanguard member often being an arbiter between syndicate or commune representatives. The PeaceKeepers operate officially as the islands defence force, as being called a “police force” is seen as oppressive in nature. However, the PeaceKeepers are a de facto police force with roles such as keeping the peace, obviously, but also maintaining "reasonable" behaviour among the citizens. Though public lynchings carried out by syndicates or groups of people are common ways of “maintaining order” to the populace. Duels are another way of settling disputes among individuals, with pistols as the common weapon of choice.

History

Battle of Corçon
As the Second Civil War was coming to a close and the Monarchist forces were making rapid advances on all fronts the Red Army was in full retreat to their capital of Corçon. Once in the capital, the Red Army enlisted every able bodied person of any age and gender to begin making a fortress island. Walls, trenches, barbed wire, barricades, and watchtowers were all constructed on a massive scale across the island in a matter of days. What few tanks, artillery, armoured cars, and armoured trains the Red Army had left was strategically placed across the island. When the Monarchists began the invasion, a nearly two month siege ensued.

The battle was marked by fierce close-quarter trench warfare and direct assaults on civilians in air raids, it remains the largest and bloodiest battle in Prataran history, with nearly 1.3 million involved personnel and 750–900 thousand killed, wounded or captured. After the Monarchist defeat at the de facto capital of Trocos, the King was persuaded to sign a separate treaty with the newly formed Insurgent Revolutionary Army to establish an autonomous territory.

The Monarchist offensive to capture Corçon began in June 1936, using the 13th Army and elements of the 16th Tank Division. The attack was supported by intense aerial and naval bombings that reduced much of the island to rubble and craters. The fighting degenerated into trench-warfare; the Monarchists poured as much reinforcements onto the island as logistically possible, while the Red Army began giving weapons of any kind to every person that could hold one. By mid-October, the Monarchists and Red Army (now renamed to the Insurgent Revolutionary Army) had reached a stalemate. The IRA began using recently dug tunnels to escape large Monarchist bombardments and encircle Monarchist forces which cut them off from supply lines. Seeing no end in sight, on 12 December 1936, King Carlos I signed the Truce of Trocos with Premier Cézar Navarro, officially ending the Second Civil War.

Modern Age
Society is based according to anarchist values, with a policy of free communities as the highest form of social justice. Education is secular, public, and free, while the economy is based on the free exchange between the rural and urban communities, from crops and cattle to manufactured products and services.

Corçon Strait Crisis of 2001
The crisis began on 27 May, 2001 with a blockade of the Island of Corçon and subsequent artillery bombardment. The bombardment lasted for two continuous days before ceasing to allow the Kingdom’s Guard and Grenadiers to invade the northern portion of the island. The United Expeditionary Force (UEF) of around 38,000 personnel made a successful beachhead, and began marching through the mountainous terrain to reach the populated southern lowlands. While marching to the south the UEF was constantly harassed and subjected to guerilla warfare by the Insurgent Revolutionary Army (IRA) led by a young immigrant named TBD, later to be called Cézar. By the time the UEF reached the first large southern city, their force was depleted to around 20,000. Despite this, the poorly defended city quickly fell to the invaders due to constant aerial bombings and a renewed artillery bombardment. Meanwhile, using tunnels dug during the Second Civil War, the IRA continued to attack the UEF depleting more and more of their numbers. Seeing the massive loss of elite soldiers over a trivial island, the young and newly crowned King Carlos II offered a peace treaty with the leader of the IRA to bring Corçon back into the sphere of influence of Pratara, while still maintaining great autonomous powers. TBD reluectly signed the treaty, realising a continued bombardment and blockade or another invasion would eventually see the fall of Corçon.

The total losses of Pratara include roughly 26,000 killed, wounded, or captured, 23 planes shot down, and 1 corvette damaged. While the IRA has estimated losses of only around 1,000 killed, wounded, or captured. The total amount of civilian casualties ranges between 150-300,000 killed or wounded.

Geography
Corçon is an island state southeast of Pratara. The island measures TBD square kilometres and lies some TBD kilometres across the Corçon Strait from the southeastern coast of Pratara. The Gulf of Pratara lies to its north, the nation of Almorea to its east, and the continent of Raedlon directly to its south and southwest.

The island is a tilted fault block, characterized by the contrast between the northern half consisting mostly of five rugged mountain ranges parallel to the southern half, and the flat to gently rolling plains of the south, where the majority of Corçon’s population reside. There are more than two hundred peaks with elevations of over 3,000 m, the highest being TBD at 3,952 m. The tectonic boundary that formed these ranges is still active, and the island experiences many earthquakes, a few of them highly destructive. There are also many active submarine volcanoes in the Gulf of Pratara and Corçon Strait.

The climate ranges from tropical in the south to subtropical in the north. The island is struck by an average of four typhoons each year. The northern mountains are heavily forested and home to a diverse range of wildlife, while land use in the southern lowlands is intensive.

Climate
Northern Corçon has a humid subtropical climate, with substantial seasonal variation of temperatures, while parts of central and most of southern has a subtropical climate where seasonal temperature variations are less noticeable with temperatures typically varying from warm to hot. During the winter, the north experiences steady rain, while the central and southern parts of the island are mostly sunny. The summer monsoon (from May to October) accounts for 90% of the annual precipitation in the south. The average rainfall is approximately 2,600 mm per year.

Politics
Wip

People's Vanguard
The People's Vanguard have no official power over anyone, they are merely a directly elected group of mediators that settle disputes or arguments between the various Syndicates/Communes, or in rare cases individuals (as this is the primary job of the PeaceKeepers). The official title of a member of the Vanguard is Arbiter.

There is no limit to how many Arbiters can be elected at any given time, but there is usually never more than five, with the current amount of seven being the largest amount since the formation of the Commune.

Arbiters are usually notable and respected members of the Commune that are known for their good deeds, strong leadership capability, or military/political experience.

Economy

Agriculture
Farmers who live in the rural lands outside main urban areas are self-organised into farming communes. In these communes, land is held in common, and kitchen and dining rooms are also communal, though members who wished to cook separately or to take food from the kitchen and eat it in their own quarters are allowed to do so. Though only a few members actually consider themselves anarchists, the farmers operate the communes on the basis of full equality ("from each according to his ability, to each according to his need") and accept the principle of mutual aid as their fundamental tenet.

Industry
Throughout Corçon all sectors of the economy are under the control of anarchist and communist syndicates/communes, where workers' self-management is successfully implemented. These include railways, metros, buses, taxicabs, shipping, energy, gas, and water companies, engineering and automobile assembly plants, mines, mills, factories, food-processing plants, theatres, newspapers, bars, hotels, restaurants, department stores, and thousands of other previously privately owned companies.

Transportation
All forms of transportation operate under the island wide Syndicate of Transportation. This syndicate is in charge of the efficient and productive use of the communal forms of transport for use by the people of Corçon. This includes organising bus lanes, establishing a detailed plan for the movement of trains, buses and taxis, the transport of passengers, etc.

Energy
90% of the energy Corçon uses is provided by the TBD Dam located in the northern TBD mountain range. TBD has an annual generation of 84.2 TWh (303 PJ), and is wholly ran and maintained by the Free Territory Communal Energy Syndicate (FTCES).

The other sources of energy in Corçon is comprised primarily of coal, wind and solar. The wind and solar plants are also operated by the FTCES, while coal mines are operated by various mining syndicates.

Demographics

Education
Education in Corçon is provided at many facilities maintained by the PeaceKeepers. The education is free and available to anyone, but is rather basic and of poorer quality than the mainland. Classes are provided by many intellectuals from across the isles and are diverse in thought and material. Classes range from basic reading and writing for children, to advanced math for adults. There are no grade or age specific schools, as what classes you wish to learn is based on your abilities and preference. School is not mandatory but is highly recommended.

Each Syndicate and Commune also have their own technical school to teach and train individuals about their specific career. These schools are very rigorous and thorough, but are very successful as a result. The classes are primarily hands-on, but this depends on the respective career field of the syndicate/commune.

Healthcare
There are a total of 20 hospitals located across the territory. All are communally operated and free to everyone. The services provided by the hospitals are relatively basic, with the exception of one, but still provide emergency services and many life saving procedures. The quality of the healthcare in Corçon is not as good or advanced as the mainland or the rest of the isles, but is relatively sufficient for the people of Corçon.

The General Hospital of the Free Territory of Corçon located in Trocos is the largest and highest quality hospital in Corçon. The hospital maintains over 6,000 beds, 8,000 medical staff, an ER room, dental clinic, ambulance service, and general check ups to anyone that shows up.

PeaceKeepers
The PeaceKeepers have a current strength of around 46,000 professional soldiers, organised into motorised and infantry Brigades, and artillery and armoured divisions. It is organised into five Corps and the Strategic Reserve. Each Corps had one infantry and one motorised Brigade; each Brigade had 4-5 Regiments of the appropriate type.

The structure of the PeaceKeepers is not that of a traditional army. Instead, the PeaceKeepers is a democratic militia based on soldier committees and general assemblies. Officers in the ordinary sense have been abolished; instead, all commanders are elected and recallable. Regular mass assemblies are held to discuss policy. The army is based on self-discipline, and all of the army's disciplinary rules are approved by soldier assemblies.

Strategic Reserve
The Strategic Reserve is open to any able-bodied person over the age of 15 that is capable of completely the bare basics of military training. This includes 35 sit ups and 25 push ups, each under a minute, and a 2.4 kilometre run in under 11 minutes. There is also basic firearms training with a rifle of choice, and pistol of choice, keeping in mind the availability of specific weapons. The AK-47 assault rifle and the Makarov pistol are the most common.

The total number of Reservists is around 170,000. In addition to the 46,000 professional PeaceKeepers, this brings the total number of trained soldiers in Corçon to around 216,000, out of the roughly 300,000 in Corçon.

I’m a radical what can I say. The fact of the matter is that I’m so poor I legitimately can’t afford to feed myself half the time, and yet a simple accident could leave me with so much hospital debt that I’ll wind up homeless. Getting a higher education is just a pipe dream for me because of people who are against free college. I don’t care if I alienate the people with no real convictions, because chances are, any support they give is fleeting and weak. Call me Part of the problem if you want, but what I am is a revolutionary.
