After cutting back on super sugary processed foods in the interest of self preservation, I've come to realize that really good cornbread is just junk food that pretends to be part of a balanced meal.

And I love it

I had no idea Mr/Mrs/Ms Moderates was running as well.

Can any of my Murican friends enlighten me on why Sanders is on one side while the three others are on the other side united?

They appear to be labeling Sanders as a radical, and the rest as moderates. It seems that they are then adding the "moderates" performances together and comparing them to Sanders. The purpose of this exercise eludes me.

Sanders is the most radical left candidate the democratic party has (that actually stands a chance this election)

And as 2016 proved, moderates don't win in the current environment, despite the fact that in an ideal world those are the kind of candidates we should be having, as they dont empower the fringe members of society who hold dangerous views

A moderate would stand a really good chance in a general election against Trump, but in the primaries, when only the party's True Believers turn out to vote, a moderate doesn't stand a chance. Looks like Bernie might win the nomination, if he doesn't get the shaft again. Willing to bet he'd lose against Trump in the general though. His policies are not as attractive to middle America as they are to rich white college students.

I dunno if you heard or not, but apparently India is now a "developed country" according to US gov (it's all over the news here).

Orange Man helped his fellow strongman dictator pal NaMo to once again pull a "I was right bitches" win ("Superpower 2020").

This is two weeks before the two meet up again and immediately after NaMo's party lost big at Delhi. Coincidence? I think not.

Sanders is a pussycat compared to Corbyn. Can we swap?

Yea if the Dems want to win they need a moderate like Biden as the nominee with one of the younger radicals as the VP to get the college kids fired up

That's like asking if we want to trade Trotsky for Lenin. F*ck no. We'll keep the harmless crazy face, thank you kindly.

Agree to disagree, at least for now. Trump is an incumbent President and the economy is doing alright (whether that's because of him or despite him is another matter), which is an uphill battle by default. I don't see "meh" candidates able to stand up without a personality cult behind them. Most of the moderate dems are about as interesting as an untuned radio channel right now

I could be wrong, and I hope I'm wrong. It just better not be Bloomberg lol

Great, у моего банка новая система; my bank has a new online banking system, but when moving between pages the mobile app gives a 'please be patient' message - in Russian! I like Russian as a language but I find its presence in a supposedly secure and non-Russian online environment somewhat disconcerting...

People are tired of the hyper partisanship of the last several years. A simple "meh" guy that can promise a return to normalcy might be popular. Moderate-leaning-conservative dems have been making inroads in state, local, and congressional elections in purple and red states. Purging the crazy haired radicals from the party, or at least confining them to one corner where they can't dominate the platform could result in big wins for the democrats, as the republican party is even more disorganized and unpopular at the moment. They're mostly riding on a wave of "we can't vote for infinite-genders your-freedom-of-speech-offends-me the-stock-market-is-evil nutjobs."

I fail to see why the national religion setting on here just sort of unceremoniously throws it at the end of your nation page.

Your leader gets a small bit of context (ruled by X with an iron fist, etc), capital city at least tells you that's where state matters happen, and it attempts to match your national animal with a place you'd expect to find it

Nhoor's national animal is a mythical creature so no frolicking there, or whatever they call it, through Nhoor's many lush forests...

If you ask the mods nicely they'll even change the code to accommodate new animals. I used to have land marlins

I should let them know that amano shrimp are freshwater after their early stages and thus needs to change "frolics freely in the nation's sparkling oceans" to rivers, lest we spread horrible misinformation about our invertebrate buddies

I wish they could breed in freshwater so much. That would change the game

Corindia wrote:I wish they could breed in freshwater so much. That would change the game

I have a smol shrimp in my tank and I swear I don't remember getting any that size, but there's no way amanos could breed in my tank. Not a baby by any means, but definitely very juvenile for an adult. He's a real mystery boi

Speaking of brackish... Gobies are cool fish but they take too much work :/

I think that's the default setting for unknown animals. Which makes sense, I suppose, but I prefer the ones that scavenge through garbage cans instead. A more amusing default

Maybe you got a free, unnoticed shrimplet?
