No, Netflix only offered the series and I saw the film once (of which I thought the series was a remake). I don't recall hearing anyone mention it in bookform in Luxembourg or the Netherlands.

Ah, that makes sense. I wasn't sure how popular the novels were outside of the Anglosphere.

No need to feel guilty for the sofa. It is just a sofa afterall. ;)

So you are a Hindu Rastra supporter?

Here, labelling your opponents Hinduvatavadis is the way to garner votes. It goes like "Those Modi-son Hindu nationalists are trying to divide our country!"

He has, but no I'm not a Hindu Rashtra supporter, am just memeing.

I googled it; apparently part of the series has been translated into Dutch.

For Luxembourg the situation is complicated: there are three official languages: Luxembourgish, French, and German. France and Germany will probably take care of their own translations but it remains to be seen how much of that will end up in Luxembourg. And Luxembourgish being a small and "fragile" language (most indigenous Luxembourgers don't know how to write it as the official spelling turns only 20 years old this year and it isn't really taught at school) I doubt that any translation will be made soon. It's already amazing that the first two Harry Potter books have been translated into Luxembourgish...

I still haven't finished the I am number 4 series that I started years ago, due to lack of time, so for now I take your word for it :)

Come to think of it, the last time I read part of a novel and/or other literary works may have been 2017..

I hate pollen season.

There's so much tree jizz floating around where I live/work it would satisfy even the wildest dendrophile's bukkake dreams

I've spent about half the day sneezing and the other half waiting for the next round of it. Bring back winter please
