Don’t lead the guy astray
I am intrigued. The first part made me laugh, though, especially the thing with the candy shop. That could just open up an opportunity for a child to foil their plans.
Glad you enjoyed it, too bad that child would have to be silenced.
I think their parents might wonder where they got to.
Anyway, if want me to participate or are looking for another nation to help out, then please feel free to ask.
You sound like Belantica did back in the day.
We'll see how my map application goes. Maybe I'll be able to post soon as well.
Upon the founding of this great nation, the people of Belantica in unison, forged this grand document to outline the basic rights and freedoms of all citizens, their government, and the monarch. This Constitution outlines the unalienable rights of the Belantic people which this government shall be held responsible to.
Article I:
The national government cannot override any decision made by local, municipal, and state governments unless it is an issue of social well-being or national security. This same rule applies to governments lower than the national government. The lower governments are allowed to amend any decision made by the national government within reason.
Article II:
No level of government can pass legislation that will oppress freedom of speech, religion and press. It is a fundamental right of the people to express their thoughts and opinions however they see fit, and show respect of different cultures and groups within the nation. No religion shall however, influence the government, and the government shall remain absent from religious affairs, should be be no security concerns.
Article III:
It is necessary for interest of national, civil, and self defense that all citizens have the right to own, carry, and use small arms. This right should be encouraged, however it should be known that such a right bears tremendous responsibility to the bearer of said arms to not harm law-abiding citizens or cause destruction to life and property.
Article IV:
If a citizen is being taken into custody by law enforcement, the citizen holds the right to remain silent and does not have to testify or confess on themselves or others. The citizen also has the right to have legal consul upon request, and cannot be refused said legal consul. The citizen has the right to a fair trial with a jury composed of other citizens. It is also the right of those taken into custody to be read these rights and have said rights explained to them in a way they can interpret.
Article V:
All citizens over the age of 18 have the right to vote in elections, serve in the armed forces, and consume legal vices. All citizens over the age of 16 have the right to apply for a driver's license in their state of residence, the only exception to the article is if the license applicant has a medical condition that may deem them unsafe.
Article VI:
The government shall not intrude on private citizens lives for any non-investigative reason. The only exception to this article is if the citizen is under a criminal investigation and is suspected of committing a felony.
Article VII:
The governments of the nation should encourage industrial and commercial development to better advance the economy, and to refrain from interfering with economics affairs unless their is legitimate concerns of safety and well-being for people, the environment, and the general welfare of the nation.
Article VIII:
The Monarch, who serves as the head of state and in some cases head of government, has the right to perform his or her duties and serve the Belantic people in the most effective way. It is the responsibility of the Monarch and the Parliament to work together and instill trust between the two bodies.
Article IX:
As circumstances and norms change over time, this Article denotes that the Parliament and the Monarch does reserve the right to alter this Constitution to create additional Articles, to amend or ratify any Articles outside of Articles I-V, with enough reasoning to support such a decision and gaining the consent of the Belantic people through a referendum.
