it's not meant to be "here's exactly where the border is" but more of a "Look, Aizcona is on this part of the map"

The frack did the NBA do now?

The GM of the Houston Rockets tweeted something supporting the HK protestors. Big Daddy Xi caught wind of this on the mainland and China banned all Rockets games from being aired and the China Basketball Association (?) (headed by Yao Ming, who famously... was on the Rockets) severed ties with the team over this.

The NBA, in order to save face with their free money loyal Chinese base basically said "we apologize for how [GM] acted and are sorry that we may have offended our Chinese viewers" because they're more interested in making money and kowtowing their asses off than daring to let anyone criticize the actions of the Chinese government

Have u seen a map of africa?

Razzgriz and Thepenguinland

Once again, I'm in that situation where I've drawn a bunch of planes (1.5 hrs each tops) and don't have the motivation to make the dispatch stub (5 min for a simple one).

Oh yeah, I get that borders can be very rectangular. I also saw Shidei's post about how it's supposed to be less of a clearly defined map of borders and more of a general idea of where nation's are

It's not like the Africans came up with those borders themselves though.

Anyone have a good ol’ FAL or G3-esque rifle that could be in use as either a standard rifle or reserve service rifle for Martenyikan forces?

My head-cannon is that some of the empires (of which there are many in TWI) decided to randomly draw straight lines as they saw fit.

And don't bother. I tried to bring this issue like three times or more before. Doesn't go anywhere. Having our own head-canons is better.

What I like about US of A is how it is a true democracy despite all of its faults. People there can sh!t on the world's most powerful man and sue powerful groups. In other countries, you would get jailed for far less offenses.

Here, you end up in prison if you publicly rail against the government's "One-China Policy" or give negative reviews of a movie or joke about our PM being in love with Madam President. Not to mention all those P-bans: PubG, Pokemon Go and Porn.

No thanks. I will pass on Nationalist China who claim Tibet, Manchuria, Mongolia, Bhutan, Nepal, huge chunks of northeast India, Vietnam and tons of other areas in their very constitution (because the Qings got tributes from them or something).

A "Communist" China that flexes its muscles through pandas, cash and roads may not the best thing but it is a lot better than a Nationalist China that would have invaded half of Asia.

How about no China?
Or American puppet China?
A free Tibet buffer zone.
Or give Tibet to Nepal for the greater Himalayan Empire.

1. Removing a civilization that has existed since thousands of years ago; on top of that a civilization that always one of the frontrunners with the largest population on Earth is easier said than done.

2. ???

3. If Tibet is to be free, it must be in alternate universe where everyone on Earth loves democracy and the environment is such that Tibet is a republic. Handing Tibet back to Dalai Lama as a theocracy will only makes things worse. Also, this raises bigger questions. If Tibet is to free, what about others? Forget other regions, let's take China itself. There are roughly 60 "nationalities" and Tibetans are just one of them. If Tibetans deserve their own free country, why not these other peoples?

4. Why bother? There is not going to be any Nepal or Bhutan (cough, cough...Kashmir and Laddakh...cough, cough South Tibet/Arunanchal Pradesh which is in India but China claims...cough, cough Sikkim) a couple centuries from now (like you said, they are buffer states and nothing else...and in this new world, they are basically useless even as buffer states). Landlocked countries in the middle of nowhere sandwiched between two giants (who will likely dominate the next few centuries to come) are doomed anyway; why even bother creating more :P
