I’ve heard that many people view them as an egregious waste of money.
Austrovik-Germania and Aktokra
Is Sunset Isle controlled by anybody?
Horrifically mismanaged program, excellent airplanes.
Its an NPC nation essentially, but you could be literally any of the tiny islands around it.
Razzgriz, Austrovik-Germania, and Aktokra
So aus ordering some is a better move than what I’ve heard it being described as...?
Yes. It's an excellent airplane for Australia's situation. BTW the AirPowerAustralia guy is full of sh*t when it comes to airplanes. I like the site for data, but the analysis is almost always fundamentally flawed. Especially when it comes to the F-35.
The entire program has cost atlas $320 billion over 20 years...
If we're doing nothing but bombing terrorists in caves for the next 40 years it'll probably go down as a complete waste.
If WW3 kicks off we'll be thankful we have it #3peat
Razzgriz, Almorea, and Kyrazakhstan
Tiny but mighty
Dothrakia and Kyrazakhstan
Considering changing my country's name to Aziria or something so I have greater choice of location when I eventually apply for a spot on the map
Dragao do mar, Austrovik-Germania, Almorea, and Dothrakia
So while looking at census data comparing this region and NS at large, I've noticed something interesting.
For the first time in Western Isles history, we're slowly overtaking the world in terms of average population. It seems newer nations are joining less, and older nations are sticking around for longer.

I've also identified a "recession" of sorts that happened in the region during October to December of 2016.
The economy rating fell, and average income dipped below the world's average.
nation=storalia/detail=trend/regions=the_western_isles/world=1?censusid=1
nation=storalia/detail=trend/regions=the_western_isles/world=1?censusid=72
Theory I have is that this is due to puppets appearing on mass during the special event that happens each October, with the rise being attributed to those nations ceasing to exist.
For roleplay reasons you could just say that a "worldwide zombie pandemic would be harmful to the economy."
More digging into this "Recession."
It coincides with a brief rise in corruption, and of all industries, the hardest hit was er... furniture restoration, for some reason. Information Technology took a smaller hit, and economic output had a small period of shrinking, followed by a month of stagnation before rising again.
Goddamn do I love pointless statistics.
How're you pulling these stats?
Should check out the drop in RP activity in the region around any of the special events - that'd probably reinforce what you're saying here as well.
Well, nevermind. Just found out that's impossible unless I want to start a whole new country
Been trying to come up with more information about my country, but I keep getting writer's block. Any advice?
Is Numa a female name by any chance? How common is it in Nhoor?
Tis a great coincidence but that is also the most common ladies name in AM (just means "beauty").
What stage of writing are you at? As in are you doing overview, in depth factbooks or just random bits of your nation?
Today I found about that the Chinese in the past used to trade with other nations but used to call that "tributes". Gotta apply that logic on my past as well.
Classic China.
That's a fantastic idea. Perhaps the islands were first settled by Aziri seafarers. . .
Athara magarat and Wellsia
The main thing I'm trying to do is flesh out the history, and the different cultures, religions, and ethnic groups that inhabit the country. I've got a few ideas for my country's history; a brutal civil war in the 1990s, the country being settled by Aziri from modern-day Wellsia, perhaps colonization by Austrovik-Germainia. I'm just having a hard time getting everything unified.
