The usual.

It's called the clash of civilizations. It's a theory of globalization that argues against Francis Fukuyama's theory of "the end of history". Basically, polarization and extremism in response to a feeling of alienation caused by a diminishing worldspace.

I'll have 3 new posts in the pipe before the end of the day. 2 IC and one News to get things moving on my end a bit faster.

Almorea and Nhoor

I also should be using this weekend productively; I haven't written anything in the past few weeks (except comments on this board). I have had many ideas but no time to elaborate them..

I now want to read this book

It's not just a book, but one of the most discussed hypotheses related to globalization studies. It's a reasonable view of things, especially recently.

So, so much.

You can read the end of History however. It's closely tied to the theory.

There's a book for the Clash of Civilizations too, but it doesn't encapsulate how far the theory has developed since. It was Huntington's claim to fame, after all.

It's only gonna get worse with all of its mainstream attention, I feel like it use to be more of a fringe thing. Trump doubled down when he was asked about the shooter "people don't want to call it an invasion, but it is".
It's a scary world we live in, hoping everyone on here stays safe

If you're quoting Trump you couldn't have possibly seen the inexcusable remarks from one of our Queensland senators who somehow ended up being a representative even though he wasn't even elected democratically into our Senate (he got 19 votes, which was hardly enough to get into the Senate)

I’m from NSW, the state below it

Oh gotcha, I lived in Brisbane on and off for a couple years while my dad was working with a client down there.

Would anyone be interested in having their leaders come to Enchanta for a conference? It would be to discuss the current state of the nation. Just remember, it will not be held by Rachel, she is in the hospital. It will be held by her lover Richard Harelm.

I don't think you banned it I think you made it illegal for unmarred people. Since the issues don't matter in this region I stopped caring about them.

Nezaeva would be willing to send a member of its council.
