Coronation of Emperor Napoleon
Following a motion by the Senate of the French Republic to declare First Consul Gen. Napoleon Bonaparte as Emperor, a plebisite was held among the french people. With 99% of the vote, Napoleon would prepare for his ascension. On December 2nd, Napoleon and his wife Josephine would be escorted in their carriage to Notre Dame. Before entering Notre Dame, Napoleon was vested in a long white satin tunic embroidered in gold thread and Josephine similarly wore a white satin empire-style dress embroidered in gold thread. Napoleon would enter, and would be annointed by Pope Pius VII as His Imperial and Royal Majesty Napoleon I, By the Grace of God and the Constitution of the Republic, Emperor of the French and King of the Italians. The French and the various Italian Republics would be reconstituted as the French Empire and the Kingdom of Italy. This move would shake the face of Europe. Napoleon was no longer a Revolutionary, he was a Conqueror, and he has now Conquered the French Throne. This move also offends the Habsburgs, who claim to be the King of Italy and the King of the Romans in cohesion as Holy Roman Emperor. It also offends Naples, who see the title of King of Italy as something that would be used to dominate and control their independent states. Napoleon would appoint his stepson, Eugène de Beauharnais, as Governor of Italy, and he would prepare for war with Europe. He knows that Britain and France has been violating the Peace of 1802, and that the Austrians have remilitarized.
The Greater Western Union, whenever you update the map, unite the Italian client states except for Tuscany, and yeah Tuscany, or rather the Kingdom of Etruria, should be my puppet state.

Britain also begins attempting to put together a coalition calling upon Russia, Austria, Prussia, Naples and several other countries like Sweden to resist Napoleon the Conquerer, in an effort to persuade these nations Britain offers great financial aid from its vast coffers to those seeming reluctant. The empire also continues its wars against French allies around the world such as in South Asia with relative ease.
The revelation of Napoleon's crowning as Emperor also has ripples in American politics and foreign affairs, as the previously pro-French Democratic-Republicans see Napoleon's new position as Emperor to be a betrayal to the republican values Napoleon once championed. President Jefferson contacts the British Foreign Minister, saying that he wishes to improve relations and ease tensions with the British Empire.
