(*Sees flag change to INGSOC logo.*
Are you still doing that federal semi-constitutional American monarchy, with the logo just being yet another placeholder, or did you switch Kyria yet again?)

It was accidental.

A Spartan has fallen in to the pool in the hangout building.
Throw him the life preserver.
*Life preserver is deflated, laying beside the poolside.*
Spartan: "Hey!"

Akeldama meanwhile was quite content swimming steady laps around the pool, occasionally diving under before resurfacing and continuing her swim.

Spartan latched on to the life preserver, all wet in his red tux now. "Thanks!" He told the stranger.
(Whomst is this?
I recolonize this is not Dino.)

Spartan paddled over to her. "I thought it was your turn to be the life guard."
(Break ending so I won't be able to reply for awhile.)

"Sowwy," Akel half-apologised with a smirked, amused at his silliness.

"De rien monsieur." *Erik said simply with a nod before going to sit on the hangout couch and checking his phone, with him sighing in annoyance shortly after.*

(Grandson of Dino and Val, Kat's younger twin son known as Erik Septim-Dvorana. Family resemblance should be decently obvious given his mostly pink hair, pale skin, somewhat pointed ears, possibly noticeable underbite, and one of his eyes is the same color as Val and Kat's eyes. I had him in here awhile back, when he was talking to Foxfound/Nu Alaska's Z.)

Akel: "Thanks for the jumper pullover."
S: "Wot?")

Ah yes, excellent job representing British interests, Mr Cummings. I bet that man you hired who thinks black people are less intelligent and that other guy who compared women’s sports to the Paralympics will do just swell in bettering our great country’s reputation abroad.

I tend to not be bothered by individual things rather it builds up. I’m just frustrated with the current government.

(Yikes, sounds like you have a closer equivalent to the Trump Administration over there than I thought.)

Honestly the only difference is Trump is dumb but Johnson only acts dumb... which is really kinda worse if you think about it.

IIRC Bojo once described black people as ‘picaninies’ with ‘watermelon smiles’.

It’s not great.

(At least Trump's too incompetent to effectively mess things up without raising a [REDACTED]storm on a daily basis, with the pushback that comes from such. [Even if most of the democrats seem to have repeatedly lost their spines] A person that has both a fully/mostly-functioning brain and that type of political agenda... Crap.)

(Are we talking about the current British Prime Minister or a 1960s Dixiecrat? Bit hard to tell from that language.)

The current Prime Minister. It’s... not a fun time for everyone.

(Hopefully you'll be able to get him out come 2024, honestly don't have any confidence we'll be able to that with our own incumbent President this year between the electoral system and it being unclear whether or not the Democratic primaries will come out with someone able to beat him while not turning out to be a Wolf in Sheep's clothing.)

(I liked Yang, but he obviously dropped out.
And given my general lack of experience it's safe to say anything I think is a good idea probably wouldn't work.)

I’m quite pessimistic about the next general election. Democracy is really unappealing to me at the moment.
