(Saying things like that gives them more power to be honest. If everyone thought that then there'd definitely be no chance of voting him out.)

Oh, I’m not saying to abstain from voting. That’s as bad as voting for them. I support tactical voting and hope to see it come back to oust the Tories. Hopefully Labour’s not run by a complete SJW or some other idiot, because the LibDems have no chance of getting a majority unless they really step up their game.

(While UBI is a concept we ought to keep kicking around in the public consciousness... In the form Yang was suggesting it wouldn't be workable, expecting people to give up what safety net they have for it, and I'm not sure how economically viable it would be even for a nation like the U.S.)
(My hope's on Bernie, although I suspect the DNC's trying to make it swing in either Buttigieg or Bloomberg's favor given former-darling Biden's apparently dead-in-the-water.)

(I'm not sure that term is entirely applicable to the types of governments we have now, seems like corporate interests [among others] are constantly lobbying and plucking at the strings to get their way as they have.)

Yeah, perhaps. Honestly I’d be warned for advocating death if I said how I’m feeling about them all.

Better to try something new than let you know who win again.

(Every now and then I start to think that despite what he's doing he's intelligent in some respect, but then he tries to buy Greenland.)
(One problem is I only really started paying attention to politics around the time of the 2016 election, so I don't have a good perspective of when things were more normal, assuming they were. If that makes sense.)

(On a normal scale [not our right-slanted political compass.] he's a pretty normal Center-Left politician, far as I'm aware. So someone actually against corporate interests in office for once and finally getting our healthcare system up to modern times would be nice.)

Yet here I am seriously considering changing certain modern ways to something more classically antique in style and function, or at least just pulling back the whole democracy business and leaving democracy in the hands of the educated.

(Look around you, what causes the ills of uneducation? Of stupidity? Of decisions made out of fear and ignorance? Look to that, then you can implement democracy without restricting the vote among your own citizenry. Attempting to merely treat the symptoms will not remove the disease itself. Even if it can't be completely eliminated, the goal of the education system should be to prevent that and create intelligent, free-thinking, citizens of nation who are able to make decisions of good judgement at the ballot.)

Well, kind of replace the free-thinking part with "patriotic" and we’re golden.

(Well, you understood what I meant. Long as they all seek to benefit the nation, let them think what they will and in such a system the voters will decide what's best as was intended from the start. If you must put restrictions, let it be on running for office. Believe the Commonwealth from Mahu's Stellaris series actually makes you pass a test before you can be elected to office to propose legislation, if not automatically making you a legislator as my memory's hazy, but is otherwise a direct democracy.)

"Pay to watch fights:MK2"
"Pick which of the TRUE AMERICAN GODS^TM to worship." [See Hanuhnah-Amerika for list of the Americanist gods, and add threat of what will be done to heretics in poll. Possibly make another joke poll out of punishments for heretics that didn't vote or voted 'wrong'?]
"Where should we put our salt mines?" [First two options that come to mind:The YouTube Comments Section and Carthage.]
"Knights or Legionaries?"
"Did Caesar do anything wrong?"
"Picking for him." [Silly nonsensical poll with all the people Dino's been jokingly and non-jokingly shipped with, along with the obvious and canon choice.]

(Depending on your definition...
-Valorie. [Loving vampy wife and forever the canon one.]
-Human Thara/Luna/Maria/Whatever she's calling herself these days. [Ex-wife and effectively adoptive sister nowadays.]
-Khajiiti Thara/Luna/Maria/Whatever she's calling herself these days. [Divine being split off from ex-wife and fling back before he left Morrowind, because Akatosh was worried he wouldn't leave Morrowind on his own and decided to have her use time travel to stabilize the timeline.]
-Katariah. [His own daughter, successor, and accidental drunken one-night-stand thanks to time travel, daedric shenanigans, initial ignorance of identity on his part, and Electra complex.]
-Ravyn. [Utterly insane Breton Vampire Brīná.]
-Dinasia [Theoretical female clone of Dino.]
-Elffair. [Someone from Elfland apparently, you made a joking reference to them in such a capacity.]
-Breylena Maryon[Who Dino would've gotten with post-Skyrim, had she not died fighting alongside him against draugr.]
-Asriel [Crack-Ship joke from the old Banquet days. See:Springtime in East Fredonia.]
-Serana perhaps as an honorable mention, given she seems to be shipped with just about every Dovákīn in some capacity by the Skyrim fanbase.
-Possibly more burried in RMB, hazy memories of non-canon F7 threads no longer in existence, and old Banquet threads, although probably not the latter due to that part of Dino's characterization not really developing until I got to this region.)
