Well I’m not a Socialist but you can’t deny that Socialism is the better way to go if you want good civil rights

Socialism is an economic system and has nothing to do with civil rights

Yeah I know, but still Socialism is the delegation of economic power to the comunity as a whole, so its basically giving more power to civilians and therefore it increases rights.

So everyone has the same rights basically (economically speaking)

Not necessarily. Equal opportunity never means equal outcome. Capitalism lets you climb the economic ladder by giving everyone the opportunity to make/save/spend their money however they want. With socialism, when the 'redistribution of wealth' happens, with the heavy taxes on the wealthy, it basically discourages anybody from building themselves up. It's like that 'glass ceiling' that feminazi's made up, but real, and for everyone.

Socialism basically takes everybody's opportunity and throws it out the window for the sake of 'equality'. Capitalism gives everyone the equal opportunity to do as they wish, for better or for worse.

Well of course but at least they have the opportunity. Capitalism and Democracy are also the same as that, they sometimes oppress the poor and benefit the wealthy. So as I said Socialism, Capitalism and Democracy all have their ups and downs.

Socialism DOES give opportunity. How do you think the government supports itself.

It supports itself by stripping it's citizens of their wealth. And honestly, even then it fails to prop itself up. Look at Venezuela, it's currency is literally useless.

Maple sryup

You could restrict the use of money to only the government

I'm back!

Why is everyone talking about socialism?

Vooperian paradise wrote:Socialism DOES give opportunity. How do you think the government supports itself.

by killing all who oppose, that way no one can topple the government because everyone left supports the government, well at least, Russia DID that and China DOES that

Those are examples of bad “Socialist” governments, but anyways. Same as Democratic nations.
