So the choice is simple: either you take risks, and maybe some people will die, or you wait and many more people die. As simple as that.
And also, I think that for once, we could do away with all the red tape we have in France.

And again, procedures are there for a reason. And what use is being cured from Corona as a, say, 35 yo when my liver fails at 40 due to the medication and I am on the dylisis for the rest of my life? Great life, really.
Besides, where do we draw the line between "it is justified, due to an emergency medical situation, to skip the procedure" and "it is not justified, due to an emergency medical situation, to skip the procedure"?
Look, I do not doubt, that the guy has good intentions at heart, in doubt for the accused because I don't know him, but, as they say, the paths to hell are paved with good intentions.

Those are good questions, but ones nobody can answer, since no one can tell what the future will be made of.
As for drawing the line, you draw it where you need to. Recently, I've been considering that life is not black or white, but an infinity of grays.

Aside from that, I would like to ask your opinion about this: recently, people in France have been gathering on their balconies in the evening, and applauding for the medical personnel exposed everyday to the virus. While some like the idea, there are many more who say that this is a bit futile, and that the government should give them more means of action.
So, which one do you agree with?

Exactly, life is not black and white. That is why there are proper ways of doing things, in essence procedures, which are of any colour you can imagine, read, they are not part of that scale from black to white.
Turning them off just because it suits you in the moment, whichever the cause may be, is a very, very slippery slope.
That all, however, begs the question, where do I need to draw the line? Ethics, my French friend, are not optional in the medical field.

I agree with that this is both a very good idea and a bit futile. It is a very good idea as this shows the support of the population for the medical professionals, preferably the ones sticking to the procedure, which is a great boost for their morale. It might not give them the devices they need to to effectively work, but it raises their spirits and that is worth quite a bit.
On the other side, the government, not only the French, should work towards giving them said devices. More ICU-beds, for example.
And, on a third side, such an action may raise political support for the cause of more medical professionals and apparatuses needed by them.
Generally, I see such actions, both in Italy (who began with that), France and Germany with a smile and very positively.

Hello everybody!! I would like to know how you guys are doing with all what's happening and to see if you all are ok.

I'm healthy and not bad and that's a start for the day. Happening... as the news report about Corona, Corona, Corona and, if people need a change, about Corona, I don't think, that things like the little fat boy from North Korea firing around rockets is going to bother anyone any time soon...
Personally, everyone on my end is healthy.
How about you?

Pretty much the same here. How's it going with you, Mervay?

The usual, a bit of homework here and there, resting studying some history, YouTube, RP and having to deal with a quarentine until easters. We are expected to suffer the worse by july it seems because it's pure winter right then.

Hey guys,
I hope you're all well, here in France things haven't changed much, still confined at home at least until the end of April it seems. And personally, the university continues dropping a lot of homework on us, but otherwise, no symptoms of the COVID so far.

Aside from that, I received a package yesterday from a family member living in Mexico, said package being a huge pillar dating back from the Aztec period, with sculptures of three men on it.
However, when I accidentally hit my toe on it last night, I shouted "Aie Aie Aie" because it hurt, and suddenly this music https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XUhVCoTsBaM, started ^playing, and now I have three muscled men in my living room, named Waamu, Kars and Esidici. What do you think I should do?

Oii,
There hasn't changed a lot in Germany, either, apart from the supermarkets in my hometown now having employed security staff in order to make sure, that everyone stays at distance from other persons, and to limit the general number of people by requiring everyone to take a shopping cart even if they just want to buy a bottle of coke (and to limit the number of carts in general, so they always know how many are in the market). It's a somewhat spooky atmosphere in it ... ^^

As for your other issue, have some tacos and tequila? Or even be smarter than the average people and have some Corona beer. ;)
Be aware of the risk of Montezuma's Revenge, though. ^^

...hate to be the party-pooper, but I don't get it.
And Lillo, Monte's Revenge is normal travelers' diarrhea. Or Mexican cuisine. No one's sure.

It's a Jojo's Bizarre Adventure reference.
Aside from that, I just learned that due to the COVID19, the Tour de France will happen in South Korea this year.

The Tour de France in South Korea??? Never thought I would hear something like that. Then again this year F1 Championship might begin in France or Austria if all goes well.

April's fool! ;)
Don't worry, I also fell for it when I read the article in one of my magazine's app on my phone this morning. Good to see that in hard times like these, the journalists still make us smile.

"Hey! Hey you, have you thought about voting in the WA Gen Sec. vote? If you vote for one of the top folks except for Jocospor, I'll be willing to supply black market arms on the cheap..."

Sorry for stepping over here The Selkie! Just figured I'd poke the region and see if anyone wanted to help vote :D

That will totally help you, with the number of WA nations in this region being pretty precisely one. ^^
