Prussia-Poland probably shut everything down and closed borders the minute it started going global. Still probably has a couple of cases, though, mainly from tourists to Italy and China coming home.

Wait, you mean OOC?

School's shut down here, me and my family don't leave the house. We've got some water and canned food, though.

Also, stores are still open for now.

Indeed, things are quite messy in here. The German state of Schleswig-Holstein, where some of my favorite vacation destinations are located, has decided to deny entry to tourists now ... luckily, I wasn't planning on a vacation in the foreseeable future. Most countries bordering Germany have closed borders as well, or have been closed borders to by Germany.
As for IC - I haven't brought COVID-19 into any of my lands directly, but all my nations have enacted security measurements. Should any visitor (or national returning from abroad) have a history of staying in an area concerned, doctor's certificates proving cleanness and, in case of doubt, mandatory quarantine will be required.

Mervay wrote:Phew glad to know mate, things in Europe are messy from what I've heard. Stay cool and calm... And try to save Hand Sanitizer, Soap and all other stuff for you if you can buy some.

Yeah, things are a bit tricky right about now... and on hold. No EM, for example...
And I wouldn't go an try to get toilet paper or something like this right now unless you know, when your shop gets its delivery - unless you want to stand in front of an empty shelf, that is.

As for cases in any of my nations, I thought, that right about now it was time for the first case in one of my nations. Haven't decided which one yet, though.

Yeah, that aside ... I've been to a supermarket in my (fairly small) hometown today, and literally everyone came out with toilet paper. And flour. Make an educated guess as to what I intended to buy ...
I might bring some cases into mine as well, but I'm undecided as of yet, too.

Well, yesterday, we got a delivery and it included TP. My colleague, who filled it up, told me, that it was sold out two hours later. Flour, noodles, such things are getting rare and don't get me started on other hygene articles.
But the cake got taken by one of our returning customers, somewhere between eighty and ninety, who told our store-apprentice, a guy of 23, I think, the following: "I don't understand this! I am a wartime child, when we had to go and didn't have paper, the newspaper did the job just as well!"
Cheers to that lady!

Cheers to the wartime generation. We're getting dangerously close to a severe shortage of people we can learn from.

Well, I have plenty of old school newspapers...and there's nothing worth reading in them anyway.

Yup, in the Empire, around 7000 confirmed cases and around 100 deceased.
This is why two days ago, several measures have been put in place: no interstate travel, the Armed Forces mobilized, with the Reserves and National Guard called in. Also, all schools and colleges closed, with health students being called in as reinforcements.

Both cases Polish-Prussian Commonwealth, it's glad to hear you guys have enough for now but try to make sure to be ready shall things go worse.

That's good to hear Lillo, make sure to be alright then mate.

Yeah everything is being cancelled as of now until everything calms down from what I've heard.

Now IC: I guess I should have a case too but my government answer might be... Big... Like closing down borders and mandatory quarantine to anyone with symptoms. Plus possible cancellation of events which could make me have to think of a new way of how to begin that civil war considering it was to happen on that festival with someone killing the premier from Yuktobania.

Simple. Push the festival back a little, to when only China had it.

Like February 12th or something like that??

Possibly.

Now that's thinking with the situation and how to deal with if things go south, if there's no toilet paper, use newspaper's. If you cannot find food try to use what you have and what you could buy to survive until you can leave.

I wish I could but I already made a post on Kuronami's PiffleNet a while back. Maybe a few days before the virus went south and things worsened so I could make it around those dates... March 6th or 7 I believe...

Mervay, I don't care how tragic or dramatic the civil war turns out.

This has to be the theme.

Will do! My home state, NRW, is one of the states most reported cases come from ... but I'm making sure to move into crowded places as little as possible.
As for IC again, the next larger festival in Lillorainen would be Midsummer (June 21). Depending on how the situation develops, it might fall flat or not.

Ahh Zero. A Masterpiece.

Better than cancel a 1000 years festival it is.

Glad to know, be ready for everything then, if you can buy supplies, do it. Because I don't know if Germany has the mandatory quarantine and curfew that Italy has.

IC: Well then we better wait for sure.

Mervay wrote:Ahh Zero. A Masterpiece.

Liberation of Gracemeria would probably do for a serious theme. So would 'Near the Border'.

Those two are some beauties. I would say that they will work well, for sure it will. I just need to do the OOC and IC of it (Which I'm gonna do when either the festival goes to a advanced point which let's me do it) and done you will see a civil war that could turn into a regional war of serious aim.

Germany doesn't have that as of currently, but it isn't unlikely to be the next thing to do. After all, we're learning new things everyday.

Good point, for now let's keep ourselves in alert.
