We were thinking of doing a time skip to World War Two then a reset and sure, if you want to do a Minecraft server you can, but don’t make it our main tsl platform because I won’t be apart of a Minecraft server

I'd personally want a new fictional map entirely. Personal cultural bias gets intertwined into roleplay of a world that doesn't have the same cultures that we do if that makes sense.
I was thinking we could possibly do some sort of megacampaign sort of thing, starting in ancient times and ending in modern times. This would mean that instead of news reports, we'd have reports summarizing the events of the decade, but idk, might be fun
we can make a crossplay server for bedrock and java. in fact that's kinda a sticking point, since im on bedrock too.

True that, but a truly fictional map? Do you mean like just take a map from a video game or something? Because I think the fact that we're using Earth as a map makes it much easier. (Otherwise I could claim my country has all the resources needed, or something like that)
Might be fun, but ngl I'm not leaning towards that.
Imo we could just reset back to around 1950, I think this is the best date because:
Humans pretty much knew what Earth looked like (no need for massive exploration campaigns)
Lots of room for history. Just came out of WW2, so lots of room for independence movements and other actions to found nations
Cold War was extremely high (Korean War), so we could say a nuclear war happened (NATO vs. USSR & China), and from there new movements rose up (continuation of previous point)
Technology wasn't too far back. It would be quite underwhelming if we reset back to, say the 1600s and suddenly we have men fighting with swords, muskets, and primitive cannons

Sorry I haven't been on as much lately, my grandma has sadly passed away. Anyways, here's me catching up with things:

No, as in your revolution started this universe's WW1, and we were gonna do a time jump to this universe's WW2, and after that I think we were gonna reset.
If we're keeping a normal world map but changing the borders, then I wanna call dibs on the coast of the Black Sea.
I think that sounds like a cool idea, but It would be very difficult to do proper wars, etc. due to the lost detail. Also, I've always had an idea where you basically have a much bigger solar system than earth, with maybe like 20 planets around an extremely massive star, but we can't have any technologies that aren't actually rooted in science. I also had an idea for a win condition, that being the first nation to successfully launch an interstellar Generation Starship. You see, before I was a Politics kid, I was a Space kid, and a somewhat realistic combination of the two has always really interested me. It probably doesn't fit in the region though.
Yeah, resources like fertile soil and minerals would be very difficult to make fair, and rules around them would be very difficult to enforce.
Are you talking about using the OTL 1950s as a starting point for the region's history, or just using the technology from that time period and letting players come up with their own history?
One last thing: I'm still working on the news post for Operation: Red Dusk, but the TLDR is that I don't yet recognise any of the USSR's successor states including in Australia and New Zealand (main candidates for recognition are the Silver State and maybe the LASS), and I've occupied all of the USSR's pacific islands up to the Philippines, with preparations underway to land in Queensland, the Philippines, Hainan and the mainland.
I mean, we could just make a whole new map and everyone could pick their new spots.And also, i'd prefer a map that isn't just the regular world map :)
For the issue of resources, there are two ways to resolve it.
Optionj 1: Everyone picks a resource they want to have a monopoly over and then everyone gets what they want.
OPtion 2: Someone makes a reasourec map but does not show anyone, then everyone picks their spots and gets what they get, for the person that made the map, once everyone has picked where they wanna go, we can just vote for where the map maker gets put so they don;t unfairly give themselves a resource advantage. (Also, if we do do the update, can we like have more trade and stuff cuz then that makes it funner and more like... ya know, interconnected and makes every one of your desciosns have some sort of an impact on the world and can make alliances and trade routes more complex and awesomer)

My ideas are: Stransistria officially supporting rebels in North Africa, my LSSR claiming some of your southern lands (pun unintended but welcome, this could provoke your people to elect your president), all culminating in me sending an unacceptable ultimatum to TK (where I would reveal the identity of my Premier).
I plan on doing some silly things in Terminium, but probably not enough to get involved in the conflict. I'll probably do my best to stay neutral especially considering I'm picking up the pieces of what's left of Spacelandia.
