Slaves of Stewie! Or as you are commonly known as, South Pacificans!

In what has been a match to the death, the Panda and the Jay have duelled each other to an inch of their existence (15 upvotes to both CRS members' dispatches) :o

However, the game is still on and a new challenger approaches from the waters, Erinor!

About the CRS Lighthouse

The CRS Lighthouse Spotlight is an initiative by the Council on Regional Security to introduce themselves to Islanders across The South Pacific and encourage them to become SWAN Knights.

Being a SWAN Knight is an important role for all Islanders. It is an honorific title awarded to nations that endorse the Delegate and all members of the CRS. Together with the Delegate and the Council, they are the main force that protects TSP from her adversaries and keeps its democratic institutions functioning properly. Lighthouse Spotlight on Erinor

In this edition, we meet Erinor, a former Delegate, Prime Minister, Minister of Regional Affairs, and a current member of the Council on Regional Security.

I first joined NS in the spring of 2016 and was founded in the South Pacific during the Great Council which formed our current charter. I joined the forumside community quite quickly, but was very shy about getting involved and it was a big thing to try and understand the ideas behind regional politics. Nevertheless, I soon got heavily involved in our roleplaying community, writing countless pieces about my nationís history and language as well as taking part in the events of the day. At the same time, I became involved in the Ministry of Regional Affairs, helping regional icon Roavin to run the Coalition Day festival and with his subsequent term as the minister and I ran for Local Council and helped to welcome a massive influx of players from Imgur and then again from Reddit, by which time Iíd become Minister of Regional Affairs myself!

I ran the ministry for two pretty successful terms and again for a term the following year, before successfully being elected Delegate in January 2018. I took a short break from NS that summer and joined the CRS shortly after my return. I was elected Delegate for a second term in January 2019 and was temporarily appointed Prime Minister in December of that year to help fill out a complicated term in the cabinet.

My passions in NationStates have always been the community Iím part of and building up our regional culture. I love writing and creativity and try to encourage it in others wherever I see it. As well as the various elected and appointed positions Iíve held, I also founded a writers group (the Silicon Pens) and run a sort of church (the Church of the South Pacific) for people to discuss faith and spirituality from whatever background (in real-life, Iím working my way towards ordination). Though I have dabbled in other regions at various times, Iíve never left the South Pacific and never plan to, because thereís no other region quite like it!

I should add, of course, that if dissidents don't have nieces or nephews, I'd be more than happy to accept pets.

What if we'd rather have the pets spared?

Cull?

That seems a waste. Conscription is much more useful!

I expected more from you, my dreaded darling.
