BTD1 is truly a masterpiece.
As for Learn to Fly, I could never really get into it. Something about penguins just doesn't entice me.

Yeah they were usually blocked by the school's network or whatever. You could get around the block by using a proxy site or try using the site's IP address instead. It's entirely possible that your school only has the url blocked.
