Hmm, I was unfamiliar with the economic theory that asserts tax cuts for billionaires all trickle down to working people in the form of health "insurance"... Well, I'm sure the government knows best since we are the most exceptional nation ever although for some reason Cuba and Mongolia and pretty much everywhere else has a lower infant mortality rates than us but that's just communist talk to distract us from our obligation to god and tradition and violence guns and invading and bombing and occupying and going on military mass-murder safaris all over the world and our counterfeit cultural wasteland which is a carnival of cruelty and our make-believe moral authority which is s a labyrinth of lies and
if I woke up one morning magically transformed into a Canadian or Uruguayan or French citizen it would be like dying and going to Heaven.
That "theory" (not in the scientific sense, obviously), as many others do, neglects to take into account basic human nature.
i.e. When rich fvckers make more money than usual, they pocket the difference. When they make less money than usual, they take the difference out of the money going to everyone lower down. When things go wrong, it is everyone else's fault... and when things go right it is all their own doing.
It takes harsh circumstances to force that basic nature out of people. They need to be put through circumstances that punish greed and where prudence and restraint are required to survive. Their base nature needs to be broken out of them through specific suffering-based selective pressure.

Now now. Lets not be spreading such utterly contemptible notions as that around.
There is a limit to what anyone or anything needs to achieve its life or its goals, and as long as they keep that notion of "enough" in their minds and retain the potential to expand or contract as the circumstances demand... that is the optimum stopping point.
What is all-important here is that resources are limited. Space is limited. Opportunities are limited. All things are limited. And when someone takes more than they need of any of it, they are inevitably depriving others of what THEY need for nothing more than trying to remove personal dissatisfaction... a goal which can never be achieved.
In short... greed is nothing less than obliviously inflicting suffering on others for the most meagre and transient of personal gains. In practice it even tends to be self-defeating, for claiming what you don't need now can often damage its availability later when you do actually need it.
As such, even one as selfish as I am can't possibly condone such a disgustingly pointless thing as greed.

Ok, so what I got from that is if everyone has enough to survive then their fine... but once someone takes a bit/alot more it deprives others so they will not have enough
Here's a solution, let nature solve them out, if the greedy want more let them and if the poor become more needy just let them be, survival of the fittest and if I'm the fittest I darn Will make sure I'm always more fit than others
That could weaken my species if that was actually possible but thing is we have a large quantity of resources, even tho I agree it is limited, but if people can take more than needed then there's enough for everyone but if they aren't ambitious enough and strike the iron while it's hot then.... let them die or whatever

While the wealthy don't give a damn about anything but their own wealth, greed is not necessarily bad. It can be a strong motivator. It can even inspire people to better themselves. In moderation greed can be good.
But in Moderation, greed gets you dinged for usurping the mods and Spamming Moderation(TM). Believe me, that's the only offence on my forumside record...

Now, if it had come up in conversation and one was thoroughly explaining why they are uncomfortable with gays or feminists, then I would personally be lenient and understanding.

You understand that when there is a surplus of resources, a population expands until the two are balanced again?
This is the way of things. Abundant resources = population growth. Scarce resources = population decline. And funnily enough the resources that are available now are being so poorly managed that they qualify as scarce for an awful lot of people for the very simple reason that the folks at the top with far more than they could ever do anything with continue to hoard more and more. What they needed was a forgotten remnant of the past. They've gathered so much that there is no conceivable possibility that they could ever improve their lives by gathering any more. It has ceased to be a limiting factor for them.
And rest assured, if it weren't utterly illegal and if I wouldn't be stopped before I could progress more than a single step, I would make a point of killing the greedy arseholes topping the corporate world. And the people could feast upon their remains until they too started to succumb to greed... and so on. Who knows if they would ever learn?
Greed is the opposite of moderation. One cannot be within the other.
And it is not to be confused with necessity. The two are similar, but when necessity achieves what it desires, it is sated. Greed is not.
