Wrong - it was Manchester.

It does.

Ducktapeateau wrote:or we could just manipulate them into fighting our enemies and become masterminds that will end everything

Doesn't tend to work well in practice.

So... just pull yourself back together again...

... Or is that one of those things humans can't do?

The church of satan wrote:No. We are a democracy. We are rejects.

I vote against being a democracy. Which is to say I'll consume any collectivists who come near me.

The fascist union of eastern europe wrote:Democracy is actually bad, because you can't keep someone in office but if you elect a person you doesn't believe in democracy, then they will probably switch the type of government

That isn't what is wrong with democracy. It being able to allow changes to other types of government IN THEORY is a benefit.
What is wrong with democracy is that it is just a popularity contest. The folks who end up in power of a democratic government are those who are best at manipulating people into believing them... which is not the same as being best at governing a population.
That and the fact that the average person doesn't have a clue about good population-management either... and forming an aggregate of the opinions of millions of clueless plebs isn't an effective way to decide who or what should be in charge.

Dictators are a bit of a crap-shoot. A single, empowered person in charge might be a greedy, power-mad despot... but they could just as easily be a benevolent and dedicated leader... and there are few ways to account for that in advance.

Honestly I'd say what humanity needs most is to be governed by a supercomputer explicitly programmed to be the very best at governing... and with enough RAM to be able to treat millions of persons as individuals the way mere people themselves lack the processing capacity to do.

That last part sounds impossible, also I doubt anybody would listen to a computer, and couldn't it easily be flawed? Someone could tamper with the system and stuff....also i doubt any computer has the ability to be a leader, in the present and future

Its theoretically possible. A quantum computer, much like Deep Thought, could be capable of it.

There's a little weird thingy at the top left.....what's that represent?

The church of satan wrote:Its theoretically possible. A quantum computer, much like Deep Thought, could be capable of it.

"Could" is the keyword in that statement my dear Watson, man "could" make flying cars, man "could" walk on the sun, basically everything "could" do something but if something/someone "can" do something then......it is and that's all I care about, ants "can" build anthills, pandas "can" climb, man "can" fly planes

Also computers lack emotions 19-something movies say so

Well try to get everyone in my old region to meet in men of war and got banned for "wanting to break into a separate faction"

Reminder that in an effort to prove to the rest of Nation States that this region is not the game's equivalent of hell, we elected Satan as our leader.

I'd rather like it better if it was the equivalent of hell, because you get to meet everyone who's fun also there's nowhere to go from here :D

The church of satan

Clearly this region is purgatory. I just annexed it because we wanna knock out a wall in hell and expand another nine circles. The Demon Union was very supportive because the project created billions of jobs. :P
