Still not as bad as Caligula.I once watched a History Channel documentary "Ancients Behaving Badly" that claimed it was the high amount of lead in the wine that Romans drank in the time and that he himself personally loved so much that made him go insane.
Of course it was History Channel so it could all be BS for all I know.
