I, for one, welcome our new Danish overlords.

I mean, with a name like “The Unity of the Realm” they already sound well on their way to being the Borg.

I’m impressed with how low-key and sneaky they’re being with it.

I like how other countries have governments that can actually make/take a joke.

Unlike the current misfit who is now throwing the diplomatic equivalent of a temper tantrum.

But what else is new?

Joe Walsh is likely going to run for the Republican nomination, so you got yourself an alternative if you're still not going to vote Democrat next year.

He's only slightly more palatable than Trump.

Slightly.

Though, I have to admit, it WAS nicer when Republicans acted like they weren't racists instead of just telegraphing the white nationalist views we all knew they held.

At least they had the decency to recognize it should stay in the closet.

Apparently a federal court upheld that electors in the College aren't bound by their state's popular vote. While I understand not wanting to have your vote forced by factors you can't control, I'm kind of reluctant because it feels like that Americans' votes are worth even less now (yes I'm aware that the party stronghold states won't see any issue, though swing states will be affected heavily).

Thoughts?

To be fair, they’re correct constitutionally.

Which is why the Electoral college needs to be amended or abolished.

I'm going to try to make concerted efforts to pull my way out of the writers block i'm in; it's gone on too long.

My boss was talking to a coworker of mine about an issue he was having and said “since the client lives in Massachusetts due to their regulations they have to sign in Massachusetts, since they signed in Maine that’s the issue” and my first thought was “well Byelorutenija would disagree there...

If it happens to me then I've probably just decided to lay down on the side of the road and die. I'm clockin like twenty hours of sleep a week at this point.
