Vocenae wrote:There is no "The Local Cluster Canon". This region is more of a general meeting place for Future Tech players as a whole and a place for them to store their nations, there is no storyline or actual RP that revolves around this region, nor does any RP take place here on the Regional Message Board.

All Future Tech roleplay takes place on the International Incidents and NationStates forums, and if you'd like to immerse yourself and talk with other members of the Future Tech community, feel free to click the Discord link at the top of this page.

Ah sorry thanks for clearing that up for me my mistake.

Hello! I'm new to the region. I've been interested in getting involved in a roleplaying region based in outer space. After briefly reading over what's been said on the RMB, I get the impression there is no cannon roleplay for the region. Though, are there some roleplays that take place between clusters of regional members?

Essentially, yes, insofar as 'The Local Cluster' doesn't have a regional canon: players do. Region members and FTers from other regions, as well. Feel free to drop by the Discord linked above.

Uh, everything's under control. Situation normal. We, uh, had a slight weapons malfunction, but uh... everything's perfectly all right now. We're fine. We're all fine here now, thank you. How are you?

Ehhh...the John Carpenter 1982 original, or that abortive remake from mid-2010's?

☢️ Remake

As I recall the remake was a prequel, not an actual remake.

But yes, the John Carpenter original version, since it itself follows The Thing from Another World (1951), both of which are based on the novella Who Goes There?.

Somethings wrong with the zombie control, I was exterminating zombies yesterday and now it is saying my nation is embracing zombies but would otherwise be exterminating them with military force.

It's because you've been gifted by a zombie horde, and turned into an exporter. You're welcome!

If anyone hasn't gotten the Fallout 4 DLC stuff and plays on Xbox One, there's a big sale going on at the Xbox Store. Normal price for all of the DLC is $50, but you can grab it all for $20 right now. There's also sales for Fallout 3 and New Vegas going on, if you haven't played those yet.
