I'm glad to see that we have a competitive by-election, but I feel like this needs addressing, just to clear up any false impressions that this part risks giving.

It would be somewhat misleading to say that the 17th GA was the most efficient GA under the new system. It passed 7 serious pieces of legislation. The 16th GA, which you are pretty clearly referring to when you talk about Speaker turnover and "grinding our region as a whole to a stop", passed 14. The 15th GA, which didn't suffer from delays in the legislative process, passed 12. I understand why you'd like to portray yourself as the person that ran the best GA under the new system, but I don't see a reasonable interpretation of the record to back that up.

This view also misses out a crucial (and the most important) indicator for the success of any GA: the rating that it gets in the census. Now, the 17th GA scored a 4.23 out of 5, and that's a success, it's certainly nothing to sniff at. Of the 11 GAs that have been rated by a census, it ranks 4th. However, the three that were rated higher share one thing in common: I ran all of them. Included in those three is the 16th GA, run under the new system, which is particularly notable given the inefficiencies of the first month under the original Speaker, before I took over.

Don't get me wrong, Pod, I do consider you to be one of the more competent people to have run a GA. If elected, you would bring 7 months of GA experience, and a term organising the GA, to the table. A lot of "experience and know-how", as you say. If you were running against anyone else (except Llo, of course), this would be a good case to make. Unfortunately, you happen to be running against someone with 27 months of GA experience and 4 terms organising the GA. It doesn't really land the same way.

I completely understand this, Kava. You do have quite the experience in The Leftist Assembly and in the General Assembly, I absolutely recognise that you have quite a good amount of experience in the General Assembly, I do however fear that 27 months, many of which were in an old and outmoded system may leave you entrenched and inflexible in your legislation and leadership.

Should we see some new faces, I will seriously consider dropping, as I think we already have quite the lineup of experienced legislators, and also quite the lineup of fresh legislators. I am running to ensure that we have a well educated and trained Speaker as well as an open and flexible GA.

Best of luck to you, Kava. I truly think that the General Assembly will be amazing no matter who wins.

This first paragraph is a continuation of a trend that I've seen more and more recently, and that is the association of older members of the region with inflexibility and the status quo. I don't think that any reasonable assessment of the careers of people like myself, and others that have been directly and indirectly targeted by this, would bring about that conclusion. You are talking about people that made their name here as legislative reformers, and that have continued to innovate throughout their time serving this region. As you say, I have spent significant time in the GA, in many different forms, and I can say with confidence what has and hasn't worked. In a GA that is stacked with new faces, that understanding is very useful in helping these new legislators avoid our region's past mistakes. I think that this undervaluing of experience is ultimately a political device, and not only does it do a disservice to those that have dedicated themselves to the constant improvement of this community over the years, but it is also a detriment to TLA as a whole should it be allowed to seep into the electoral consciousness, which I fear it already may have to some extent. I hope to be proven wrong on that count.

But enough of my "yelling at clouds", as I know some would put it.

The GA's biggest problem right now is a crisis of participation, and simply adding another new face isn't going to solve it. This GA has a majority of first-time MGAs, what we need to focus on in this by-election is solving a serious problem with legislative proposals. I will be posting a short set of proposals before the vote commences to demonstrate how I intend to improve interest and participation in the GA going forward.

EDIT: Also, stability by the indicators that you use is not a good way of evaluating anything, to be honest. Firstly, Speakers do not control MGAs, and if one drops off of the face of the earth, the Speaker is not responsible for that. Secondly, I would much rather have a largely active GA that replaced inactive MGAs with new ones over a GA with barely enough activity for everyone to avoid VoNCs, and minimal legislating.

I'm here today just to back up Taipey's initiative, as a supporter and, may I assume, a slight part of the inspiration behind his project.

Don't get me wrong, the merits of its creation is all his... anyway.

I know I'm taking space in the RMB, currently in period of elections, and for that I'm sorry. But I find miportant that these ideas get some noticing.

With the explainings done, I bring to your attentions the Summit for the Socialist Integration of Peoples, a new organization held by Taipey and directed to everyone in the region who wants to join!

Its main purpose is to bring each member of the community closer, by promoting talks, discussions and exchange of whatevers between the nations, in the name of unity!

It may sound overpretentious, but if I know someone who could make it happen is clearly Taipey and his determination on the matter!

Kava's Policy Platform: Rejuvenating the General Assembly

If elected to the General Assembly:

I will propose legislation abolishing term limits for MGAs, to be implemented if the GA gets 8 or fewer candidates in the September General Election. Ideally, this condition would not be met, but if it is, we cannot restrict those that have shown dedication to the GA from continuing to serve, especially if doing so would result in another uncompetitive election like the one that has just occurred.
I have plans to write and propose significant reforms to the NSLeft Solidarity Pact during this term. I will also be writing legislation to keep our governmental system compatible with these changes, if any is necessary.
I believe that part of the lack of interest in legislating is due to a perceived difficulty in actually writing legislation. I will therefore offer to the public my knowledge and help in writing legislation. This will not only increase the number of proposals going through the GA, but will also give hesitant would-be legislators the confidence and ability that they need to start contributing to the GA independently.
1. I also promise to act as signatory to any legislation written as a result of this project, if it comes from outside of the GA.
I will post regularly (possibly every two weeks, but feedback on this would be appreciated) to the RMB asking the community to contact me with any ideas that they want to see turned into law. I commit to this so that Assemblians can see my continued dedication to this cause throughout the term, and hold me accountable if I fail to do so.

I hope that our community decides, in light of these policies, to honour me with the opportunity to continue to improve things for Assemblians, and chooses to elect me as a Member of the General Assembly in this upcoming by-election.

My intention is to get rid of the existing One Vote Per Region model that exists for certain pact-wide votes, and replace them with equivalent votes of the entire NSLeft on a One Person, One Vote basis. I would seek to have these carried out on the NSLeft forums, but if this is impractical, each region may have to host votes in-house, in which case I would write legislation to amend our laws surrounding Dual Citizenship in order to limit the possibility of a person voting twice in different regions.

If I am not elected, I will do this anyway, but I think Assemblians will appreciate that not only do I have policies to deal with our most urgent problems, but that I also intend to engage with the legislative process on other matters.

And why would you being in our General Assembly make a difference in achieving that goal? After all, you are already a NSLeft Central Committee member, which I'd think is the best platform you could have for this.

Gah, you posted this just as I edited the original.

I'll add to it though, to avoid any misunderstanding. Obviously, I will be using the NSLeft Central Committee as my main platform for these changes. What I am saying is that, if necessary, for whatever reason, I will seek to use the GA to remove any loopholes in the law that arise from these reforms.

About Me

Outside of NationStates, I manage communications, promotions, and administrative organisation for a non-profit organisation, and am going to college for Public and Nonprofit Management and Marketing.

My Goals

As MGA, I will use my knowledge and expertise to guide the General Assembly through this term. I will vie for Deputy Speaker and use said position to train in and guide the next Speaker, much like Kavagrad did for myself. As far a legislation, I will spend a significant portion of time running through the laws of our Region to ensure that there is no missing piece of legislation. I also intend on running a program designed to increase the amount of legislation that the Assembly has available to it to legislate, which became the largest pitfall of the 17th GA.

Not gonna lie, it feels a bit disingenuous to claim that you served as Minister of Recruitment since you were there for a few days and did nothing, but anyway, onto my actual questions.

1. You say that you will vie for the Deputy Speaker position. Considering there are so many new MGAs, don't you think it would be better for the new Speaker to train up one of these members, rather than the other way around? I'm not sure I follow the logic of the deputy training the main role.

2. Can you give any more detail on your program that is "designed to increase the amount of legislation that the Assembly has available to it to legislate"? How will it achieve this?

WORLD ASSEMBLY: Commend Apulita - Vote AGAINST

I thought to jump in on early about this one because I feel really strongly about it. I say time and time again that commends are often for completely whimsical reasons, and this is absolutely one of them. According to this resolution, Apulita has done nothing outside of Warzone Europe and the now-defunct Warzone Federation, which was a collection of the Warzone regions. For those not aware, Warzone regions are a game feature where these particular regions are founderless and the Delegate can ban anyone for no Influence but only temporarily - the effect is they are really volatile, and thus have largely fallen to the wayside in terms of attention. This person is being commended for contributing to what is a largely dead sphere of the game, and I can't see how that stacks up to be commendable. Perhaps in conjunction with a broader contribution in different areas, but definitely not on its own.

Therefore, I recommend a vote AGAINST this resolution.

As a part of the Sunrosan World Research Program (SWRP) - also known as the Sunrosan World Mapping Program - its foreign minister John Dover travels from region to region, observing their activities, recording important information, and identifying the best (and worst) regions to be located in. The John Dover Region Index (JDRI) is a rating developed by John Dover - Sunruina's foreign minister. It ranges on a scale of 0 (lowest) to 1000 (highest), and aims to rank the best (and worst) regions to be located in. To do so, the index considers a multitude of factors - including but not limited to: the number of nations, regional power, activeness, RMB content, friendliness, world assembly status, moderation, tags and embassies, and much more. You can learn more about how it is calculated in the section below.

The JDRI is simply an index that numeralizes the 'living standards' in a region.

However, it has come to my understanding that this index may involve some personal bias, in terms of what I feel an ideal region should be like. This can be evident in the way the index is calculated, with more weight on RMB activities rather than off-site activities or government/legislative structures.

Therefore - to those who do not agree with the index, please feel free to ignore it and rather focus on my notes regarding the region in order to better decide for yourself on which region is better suited to you.

As of today, objections towards the JDRI rating for your region may be submitted to me via telegram, by either the founder or the WA delegate of the region.

If your objections are adequately expressed and truly warrants a correction based on how the JDRI itself is calculated, then your regional rating may be increased or decreased accordingly. However, please note that this new rating will not reflect changes that have come to the region after the period of logging your region (i.e.: the span of days I was in that region) was over. Nor will it reflect activities before the period of logging your region begun.

Separately, any member nation of a region may request me via telegram, to visit their region for the purposes of the program. In this case, a member nation of a region wishing to have their JDRI rating reevaluated based on activities after the log period may also send a request for me to return to that region and create a new log for it.

The Confederation has two tiers of government, the upper tier is the Imperial Council, usually shortened down to IC, the lower tier is the Imperial Senate, sometimes shortened down to IS and usually just referred to as the Senate, the Imperial Senate is in general overseen by the Lord Overseer, who is a member of the Imperial Council, the Senate is a democrat body, where WA member nations of the Confederation can register with the Lord Overseer in order to be able to propose legislation. The Senate's elected office is the President, I am the current President and one of only 3 people to have the role, to run for president one only has to be a registered senator, the election is done via regional poll, if no candidate gets a 50% majority, then the top two candidates have a runoff, this has never happened however as all elections so far ended in landslide results. Back to proposing senate legislation, any senator can propose legislation, but the president has to approve it and put it on poll. In the regional polls, whether that be for legislation or election, any WA member nation may vote, although only senators may run in elections or propose legislation. All legislation that passes must be approved by the Imperial Council.

That is enough of the Senate functions, now for some history, the Senate is technically the successor to the previous Civil Congress, I was not around when the Civil Congress went defunct, but it was apparently just like the senate, except more maintenance heavy, interesting side note, Not a single president of the Civil Congress lasted a full term. The first Senate election came down to two candidates basically, in the end the decision was between the two most prominent political parties at the time, the Nationalist Authoritarian Party (NAP), which I was a part of and the Imperial Conservative Party (ICP) which was the largest. I admit that we won in the last stretch of the election via a bunch of votes that came out of nowhere, which was suspicious in hindsight, so our party leader Tyrransae became president. One month of radio silence later and Tyrransae is revealed to be a traitor, ejected from the region and a re-election imminent. NAP high command shattered, 1/3 of the party upper brass defected or retired from NS, the party vice chancellor left me in charge and left the region. I took what was left of the NAP, rebranded to the Central Authoritarian Party (CAP) and went into the election head first.

The second election was another landslide victory, my party, a shadow of its former self, lost, by a lot, Alexander the Magnus was already popular, and now running on behalf of the Unaligned Party (UP) he won. His term didn't last the full three months either, he did some, controversial things, that resulted in an inquisitional hearing (The Confederation's justice system) without getting into the details, Alexander tried of a few charges, found guilty of one, as a result, automatically impeached and barred from running until he is pardoned. This now left the UP's most active member out of the game, leaving the election open, I was not in the lead at first but the UP, who were in the lead, were revealed to have had a massive miscommunication, since their candidate, through a series of debates, was revealed to not be fit for the job, but also to have run for the election without his party's consent. The rest of the candidates dropped out of the race and endorsed me, which put me into the lead. The UP leader then announced that their candidate was being kicked out of the party, which left me as the only candidate left, so I won, and that brings us to where we are now, a scarce month into my term. Post election the CAP merged with FIRAC (a party made up of ex-NAP members who left after the first elections fallout) to form the RAP (Royalist Authoritarian Party).

The Senate has passed some important legislation, the most important of which is probably the Copyright motion, which protects the rights of artists producing art for the Confederation.

Europeia is a Constitutional Republic. Currently we have a First Minister, who is in charge of Domestic Affairs, and a Chief of State, who is in charge of Foreign Affairs. However, in about a month or so we'll be merging both offices into the President who will be in charge of both, and directly elected by the people. Our executive branch has departments of Foreign Affairs, World Assembly Affairs, the Navy (our military), Interior (manages recruitment), Communications, Culture, Radio and Culture. As of today, objections towards the JDRI rating for your region may be submitted to me via telegram, by either the founder or the WA delegate of the region.

If your objections are adequately expressed and truly warrants a correction based on how the JDRI itself is calculated, then your regional rating may be increased or decreased accordingly. However, please note that this new rating will not reflect changes that have come to the region after the period of logging your region (i.e.: the span of days I was in that region) was over. Nor will it reflect activities before the period of logging your region begun.

Separately, any member nation of a region may request me via telegram, to visit their region for the purposes of the program. In this case, a member nation of a region wishing to have their JDRI rating reevaluated based on activities after the log period may also send a request for me to return to that region and create a new log for it.

Europeia is a Constitutional Republic. Currently we have a First Minister, who is in charge of Domestic Affairs, and a Chief of State, who is in charge of Foreign Affairs. However, in about a month or so we'll be merging both offices into the President who will be in charge of both, and directly elected by the people. Our executive branch has departments of Foreign Affairs, World Assembly Affairs, the Navy (our military), Interior (manages recruitment), Communications, Culture, Radio and Culture. Our Court is comprised of four Justices who elect amongst themselves a Chief Justice. Our Senate is directly elected with the Speaker being chosen amongst their membership.

To do so, the index considers a multitude of factors - including but not limited to: the number of nations, regional power, activeness, RMB content, friendliness, world assembly status, moderation, tags and embassies, and much more. 25th June 2020

As of today, objections towards the JDRI rating for your region may be submitted to me via telegram, by either the founder or the WA delegate of the region.

If your objections are adequately expressed and truly warrants a correction based on how the JDRI itself is calculated, then your regional rating may be increased or decreased accordingly. However, please note that this new rating will not reflect changes that have come to the region after the period of logging your region (i.e.: the span of days I was in that region) was over. Nor will it reflect activities before the period of logging your region begun.

Separately, any member nation of a region may request me via telegram, to visit their region for the purposes of the program. In this case, a member nation of a region wishing to have their JDRI rating reevaluated based on activities after the log period may also send a request for me to return to that region and create a new log for it.

The Confederation has two tiers of government, the upper tier is the Imperial Council, usually shortened down to IC, the lower tier is the Imperial Senate, sometimes shortened down to IS and usually just referred to as the Senate, the Imperial Senate is in general overseen by the Lord Overseer, who is a member of the Imperial Council, the Senate is a democrat body, where WA member nations of the Confederation can register with the Lord Overseer in order to be able to propose legislation. The Senate's elected office is the President, I am the current President and one of only 3 people to have the role, to run for president one only has to be a registered senator, the election is done via regional poll, if no candidate gets a 50% majority, then the top two candidates have a runoff, this has never happened however as all elections so far ended in landslide results. Back to proposing senate legislation, any senator can propose legislation, but the president has to approve it and put it on poll. In the regional polls, whether that be for legislation or election, any WA member nation may vote, although only senators may run in elections or propose legislation. All legislation that passes must be approved by the Imperial Council.

That is enough of the Senate functions, now for some history, the Senate is technically the successor to the previous Civil Congress, I was not around when the Civil Congress went defunct, but it was apparently just like the senate, except more maintenance heavy, interesting side note, Not a single president of the Civil Congress lasted a full term. The first Senate election came down to two candidates basically, in the end the decision was between the two most prominent political parties at the time, the Nationalist Authoritarian Party (NAP), which I was a part of and the Imperial Conservative Party (ICP) which was the largest. I admit that we won in the last stretch of the election via a bunch of votes that came out of nowhere, which was suspicious in hindsight, so our party leader Tyrransae became president. One month of radio silence later and Tyrransae is revealed to be a traitor, ejected from the region and a re-election imminent. NAP high command shattered, 1/3 of the party upper brass defected or retired from NS, the party vice chancellor left me in charge and left the region. I took what was left of the NAP, rebranded to the Central Authoritarian Party (CAP) and went into the election head first.

The second election was another landslide victory, my party, a shadow of its former self, lost, by a lot, Alexander the Magnus was already popular, and now running on behalf of the Unaligned Party (UP) he won. His term didn't last the full three months either, he did some, controversial things, that resulted in an inquisitional hearing (The Confederation's justice system) without getting into the details, Alexander tried of a few charges, found guilty of one, as a result, automatically impeached and barred from running until he is pardoned. This now left the UP's most active member out of the game, leaving the election open, I was not in the lead at first but the UP, who were in the lead, were revealed to have had a massive miscommunication, since their candidate, through a series of debates, was revealed to not be fit for the job, but also to have run for the election without his party's consent. The rest of the candidates dropped out of the race and endorsed me, which put me into the lead. The UP leader then announced that their candidate was being kicked out of the party, which left me as the only candidate left, so I won, and that brings us to where we are now, a scarce month into my term. Post election the CAP merged with FIRAC (a party made up of ex-NAP members who left after the first elections fallout) to form the RAP (Royalist Authoritarian Party).

The Senate has passed some important legislation, the most important of which is probably the Copyright motion, which protects the rights of artists producing art for the Confederation.

The Confederation has two tiers of government, the upper tier is the Imperial Council, usually shortened down to IC, the lower tier is the Imperial Senate, sometimes shortened down to IS and usually just referred to as the Senate, the Imperial Senate is in general overseen by the Lord Overseer, who is a member of the Imperial Council, the Senate is a democrat body, where WA member nations of the Confederation can register with the Lord Overseer in order to be able to propose legislation. The Senate's elected office is the President, I am the current President and one of only 3 people to have the role, to run for president one only has to be a registered senator, the election is done via regional poll, if no candidate gets a 50% majority, then the top two candidates have a runoff, this has never happened however as all elections so far ended in landslide results. Back to proposing senate legislation, any senator can propose legislation, but the president has to approve it and put it on poll. In the regional polls, whether that be for legislation or election, any WA member nation may vote, although only senators may run in elections or propose legislation. All legislation that passes must be approved by the Imperial Council.

That is enough of the Senate functions, now for some history, the Senate is technically the successor to the previous Civil Congress, I was not around when the Civil Congress went defunct, but it was apparently just like the senate, except more maintenance heavy, interesting side note, Not a single president of the Civil Congress lasted a full term. The first Senate election came down to two candidates basically, in the end the decision was between the two most prominent political parties at the time, the Nationalist Authoritarian Party (NAP), which I was a part of and the Imperial Conservative Party (ICP) which was the largest. I admit that we won in the last stretch of the election via a bunch of votes that came out of nowhere, which was suspicious in hindsight, so our party leader Tyrransae became president. One month of radio silence later and Tyrransae is revealed to be a traitor, ejected from the region and a re-election imminent. NAP high command shattered, 1/3 of the party upper brass defected or retired from NS, the party vice chancellor left me in charge and left the region. I took what was left of the NAP, rebranded to the Central Authoritarian Party (CAP) and went into the election head first.

The second election was another landslide victory, my party, a shadow of its former self, lost, by a lot, Alexander the Magnus was already popular, and now running on behalf of the Unaligned Party (UP) he won. His term didn't last the full three months either, he did some, controversial things, that resulted in an inquisitional hearing (The Confederation's justice system) without getting into the details, Alexander tried of a few charges, found guilty of one, as a result, automatically impeached and barred from running until he is pardoned. This now left the UP's most active member out of the game, leaving the election open, I was not in the lead at first but the UP, who were in the lead, were revealed to have had a massive miscommunication, since their candidate, through a series of debates, was revealed to not be fit for the job, but also to have run for the election without his party's consent. The rest of the candidates dropped out of the race and endorsed me, which put me into the lead. The UP leader then announced that their candidate was being kicked out of the party, which left me as the only candidate left, so I won, and that brings us to where we are now, a scarce month into my term. Post election the CAP merged with FIRAC (a party made up of ex-NAP members who left after the first elections fallout) to form the RAP (Royalist Authoritarian Party).

The Senate has passed some important legislation, the most important of which is probably the Copyright motion, which protects the rights of artists producing art for the Confederation.

Europeia is a Constitutional Republic. Currently we have a First Minister, who is in charge of Domestic Affairs, and a Chief of State, who is in charge of Foreign Affairs. However, in about a month or so we'll be merging both offices into the President who will be in charge of both, and directly elected by the people. Our executive branch has departments of Foreign Affairs, World Assembly Affairs, the Navy (our military), Interior (manages recruitment), Communications, Culture, Radio and Culture. As of today, objections towards the JDRI rating for your region may be submitted to me via telegram, by either the founder or the WA delegate of the region.

If your objections are adequately expressed and truly warrants a correction based on how the JDRI itself is calculated, then your regional rating may be increased or decreased accordingly. However, please note that this new rating will not reflect changes that have come to the region after the period of logging your region (i.e.: the span of days I was in that region) was over. Nor will it reflect activities before the period of logging your region begun.

Separately, any member nation of a region may request me via telegram, to visit their region for the purposes of the program. Post election the CAP merged with FIRAC (a party made up of ex-NAP members who left after the first elections fallout) to form the RAP (Royalist Authoritarian Party).

The Senate has passed some important legislation, the most important of which is probably the Copyright motion, which protects the rights of artists producing art for the Confederation.

As of today, objections towards the JDRI rating for your region may be submitted to me via telegram, by either the founder or the WA delegate of the region.

If your objections are adequately expressed and truly warrants a correction based on how the JDRI itself is calculated, then your regional rating may be increased or decreased accordingly. However, please note that this new rating will not reflect changes that have come to the region after the period of logging your region (i.e.: the span of days I was in that region) was over. Nor will it reflect activities before the period of logging your region begun.

Separately, any member nation of a region may request me via telegram, to visit their region for the purposes of the program. In this case, a member nation of a region wishing to have their JDRI rating reevaluated based on activities after the log period may also send a request for me to return to that region and create a new log for it.

The Confederation has two tiers of government, the upper tier is the Imperial Council, usually shortened down to IC, the lower tier is the Imperial Senate, sometimes shortened down to IS and usually just referred to as the Senate, the Imperial Senate is in general overseen by the Lord Overseer, who is a member of the Imperial Council, the Senate is a democrat body, where WA member nations of the Confederation can register with the Lord Overseer in order to be able to propose legislation. The Senate's elected office is the President, I am the current President and one of only 3 people to have the role, to run for president one only has to be a registered senator, the election is done via regional poll, if no candidate gets a 50% majority, then the top two candidates have a runoff, this has never happened however as all elections so far ended in landslide results. Back to proposing senate legislation, any senator can propose legislation, but the president has to approve it and put it on poll. In the regional polls, whether that be for legislation or election, any WA member nation may vote, although only senators may run in elections or propose legislation. All legislation that passes must be approved by the Imperial Council.

That is enough of the Senate functions, now for some history, the Senate is technically the successor to the previous Civil Congress, I was not around when the Civil Congress went defunct, but it was apparently just like the senate, except more maintenance heavy, interesting side note, Not a single president of the Civil Congress lasted a full term. The first Senate election came down to two candidates basically, in the end the decision was between the two most prominent political parties at the time, the Nationalist Authoritarian Party (NAP), which I was a part of and the Imperial Conservative Party (ICP) which was the largest. I admit that we won in the last stretch of the election via a bunch of votes that came out of nowhere, which was suspicious in hindsight, so our party leader Tyrransae became president. One month of radio silence later and Tyrransae is revealed to be a traitor, ejected from the region and a re-election imminent. NAP high command shattered, 1/3 of the party upper brass defected or retired from NS, the party vice chancellor left me in charge and left the region. I took what was left of the NAP, rebranded to the Central Authoritarian Party (CAP) and went into the election head first.

The second election was another landslide victory, my party, a shadow of its former self, lost, by a lot, Alexander the Magnus was already popular, and now running on behalf of the Unaligned Party (UP) he won. His term didn't last the full three months either, he did some, controversial things, that resulted in an inquisitional hearing (The Confederation's justice system) without getting into the details, Alexander tried of a few charges, found guilty of one, as a result, automatically impeached and barred from running until he is pardoned. This now left the UP's most active member out of the game, leaving the election open, I was not in the lead at first but the UP, who were in the lead, were revealed to have had a massive miscommunication, since their candidate, through a series of debates, was revealed to not be fit for the job, but also to have run for the election without his party's consent. The rest of the candidates dropped out of the race and endorsed me, which put me into the lead.
