Call, 11:28 PM
Listen pal, unless we get the NSPDoM on board with him it’s a no go.
They’re only ready candidate was Statin, with him not running, they have no other choice but to give into our demands.
What’s stopping them from picking an establishment one?
Imagine you’re a common citizen and then try and think of any representative that isn’t specifically representing your parish or sector.
He’s gotta point.
Fine. Well go with your candidate, but if this falls through...
It won’t.
Alright then, you got the communist party on your side.
... Fine, the socialists will go along with this to, might actually shake up the establishment for once.
Excellent, the conference is next week so get prepared, we got a lotta work to do if we want to get the NSPD’d to support our man for the presidency.

- ...The Battle of Sahagún, a topic I am frequently questioned about, is one of the great fascinations of history, especially in Sur. It is my opinion that the battle did occur, as it is the most probable and realistic explanation for the vanishing of the forces of al-Mustasim. Whether the evidence of this was removed delibrately, destroyed later on, or otherwise, I believe the battle must have occured in some form. The evidence is lacking to give us any information about the battle, but it seems to be the most logical piece to the puzzle of the timeline of the Creeperian Crusades.
As for the apparition, I find no scenario in which its existence could be corroborated nor likely. It was likely a legend started by Ramón Ureña Parejas or his men to increase the legitimacy of their cause in the eyes of all those who would listen, and to encourage morale within the Castillianan and other Catholic ranks. Of this belief, I am extremely confident.

As the Foreign Religious History course was nearing an end for the day, Professor Azhikelyamov made a statement on the Battle of Sahagún and the sighting of Saint Santiago...
In the Battle of Sahagún, while lacking much evidence, it still seems evident that the battle did occur which coerces me to believing this is the reason behind the vanishing of al-Mustasim’s forces.
However, while I and many of my colleagues believe in the divine power of God, the apparition seems more as folklore rather than truth as the means to bolster morale within the Castillianan forces and Ramón Ureña Parejas.

He does have a point. Though, Eminople and Sac, when active, didn't stand up to the TEU very much regardless.

Socialism is when the council does stuff, and the more socialism, the more stuff it does; and when the consulate does a real lot of stuff, it's communism.

Our moderation reforms between July and now have been summarized and broadcasted to the forums now.
I guess it was my mistake to assume that we could improve ourselves on our own without flexing around and that someone I haven't spoken to since July wouldn't get me banned from an unrelated server for no reason yesterday on the basis of a non-existent policy that has been since replaced. :triumph:

I must say, I quite disagree.
And who art thou?
A newly formed nation hoping to uphold the ideals of liberty, security, and economic advancement. That's the short version, at least.
I did order Eminople to send a recruitment TG today. Probably that.
