Given that this a General Assembly Resolution, it requires a simple majority to pass (without counting abstentions).

Under the expressed consent of the newly crowned High King Ryunori, through the High Council, using the Kingdom Act 20518 (K.A 20518) The Endangered Species Conservation Act, the High Kingdom of Reia votes IN FAVOR of the resolution in passing. The High Kingdom believes that it is necessary that we as people must protect the wildlife and biodiversity in Terraconserva, seeing in the long run, the destabilization and abuse of ecosystems and it's inhabitors will with no doubt, effect us. As people we must coexist with our world.

The San Carlos Islands votes Against this resolution as it is an infringement on our national soverignty. The San Carlos Islands is pleased to be one of the greenest nations on the planet and continues a commitment to protecting endangered species; we don't need an international body to tell us to do that.

The yearly APEX Convention, also known as APEXCon, was in full swing. It was the third day of events out of a total week. Today’s venue was particularly crowded. Aside from the nerds and geeks looking around, businessmen looking for a deal, or ordinary people looking for good discounts on APEX products, more people came for the expected showcase of a ‘new device’. Leaks suggested that it was foldable, but not affordable. As time passed, an announcement was made in the venue.

“All guests, please note that our showcase is starting in ten minutes, please keep this in mind. The venue of the showcase will be APEX Hall, on the 67th floor, thank you.”

People pile into the hall. Filled with excitement and expectations they wait for the showcase to start. Soon the lights go out. The headlights ignite, showing a shadow of CEO Lee Gun-Woo. The headlights fade. On the wide presentation screen a video is shown. It depicts a conference of businessmen with a foldable device in each and every hand. They freely switch from smartphone to tablet, tablet to smartphone, multitasks with ease, and spills tea on them. It works like a charm. The video then ends with the logo. Cheers and clapping are already heard from the crowd.

The headlights are turned back on. Lee is in the exact center of the stage holding the device in this hand.

“Ladies and gentlemen, the APEX Fold!”

The crowd immediately bursts into a wild ovation. Lee shows the device around, flipping it open to the crowd.

“We have revolutionized the way we see holdable devices and electronics. We have opened a door, which we cannot close and will not close. This is an infant of the behemoth waiting to be unearthed. A display, foldable, flexible, and easy to minimize or maximize will be our goal!”

He then explains the specs, prices and when it is available worldwide.

We have cut prices as much as we can, but also adjusted to maintain its prestige as one of our proudest devices to date. First day of release in Koryo locations, stocks ran out within five hours of release. The APEX website crashed momentarily, and hundreds of locations filled their quota of reservations.

The Orozoco Undertows have been announced as the 9th team to join the Santanoan Premier League. They will be fan owned and I'm sure they will be quick to line up some possible recruitments as the final teams are announced.

Week 5 Power Rankings
This week was a bit of a calmer week. As you'll see, not much movement in the rankings. There continues to be a battle for first place with Creeperopolis taking Greater sacramento's spot. Gagium continues to climb the rankings with now having three wins and no losses or ties. After a strong win Quebecshire begins to fall down the rankings for the second time. Also, Koryo (Oculis omnium) has climbed out of the bottom three for the first time since week 1.

After a nation has been a temporary member for three months, full member nations will vote on whether to accept the temporary member nation as a full member. Unanimous agreement by full members is required. If unanimous agreement is not met, a second simple majority vote will take place on whether to keep the temporary member in temporary status for longer or completely eject them.

This shortens the temporary membership period from five months to three months.

Gagium will vote AGAINST having a special vote. While temporary members absolutely have the right to vote on TEU policy that affects their nations and citizens, we see no reason for temporary members to vote on reducing their time spent as a temporary member.
