RP: 100 Years of the Atomic Schism (January 2, 55 ES (2133))

Celebrations have taken place across the nation in response to 100th anniversary of the Atomic Schism. In the streets of the Commonwealth, red and orange banners were flown by thousands while the tune "Eavtonnea Sseacheisnn" looped on repeat for all to hear. Amidst the Celebrating, President Seonvter Rhodes delivered a speech to the nation, exemplifying the soldiers and workers who helped build the nation from it's early days of dictatorship, to the rapidly expanding Commonwealth. Remarking on the Atomic Schism's citizens unyielding optimism and drive for making a better tomorrow, Seonvter further thanked his predecessors, including Sózei Ejosevei, for paving the way to the modern nation.

There was never a defining moment that historians could clearly define as the 'birth' of the Atomic Schism. While many attribute it to the end of the Schismian revolution that saw the collapse of the Old Dominion, the first Republic would not be founded for nearly ten years. The next century itself would see variations of the proclaimed "Atomic Schism" topple and be reborn through revolution and civil war. And though the name "Atomic Schism" had lasted since the first colonization of the North Tundra, there was no beginning to the Atomic Schism as a nation. As history has also shown, there was seemingly no end to the forever unchanging cycle of revolution and revolt, declaration and independence. At times it would seem that perhaps, the Atomic Schism was a universe of its own, never beginning and never ending. But even this way of thought had failed the minds of Schismian philosophers, as the great. . . tribulation. . . shown. . . from space. . . devastated. . . nothing. . . remained. . . and so, forever a schism remains in North Voytana.

RP: The New Cult

Since the 12 Year Strife, the remnants of the late Duchess Positron's "Religion of All," (called the Cult of None by outsiders) had suffered intensely under the regimes of the Commonwealth and Holy Republic. With their faith scrutinized by many across the Atomic Schism, the Religion of All's head church quickly fell apart following Duchess Positron's death, with its followers branching out and forming dozens of separate distinct sects. Because the Religion of All was created as an alternative to the Sekturalism, the 1st Commonwealth's all-encompassing faith, it held no primary deity and as a result was amalgamation of various local beliefs and traditional saints, the primary being Hipps Tigh--the first settler of the Northern Schism. Under the Holy Republic, the Religion of All was devastated after the Dual Church razed virtually all of Forwest's cities, many of its followers refusing to migrate. However, some of its members did, migrating first to Dominold, and then to the Northern Schism and beyond to recolonize.

In the resulting years of assimilation and radicalization of worship, the Religion of All has begun to gain traction once more in the Colonial Provinces of Egordia, Domineu, and Akilla, but under a new branch. Known by its followers as the Laser Cult, the growing denomination is marked by its reverence of advanced technology and futuristic beliefs. Worshiping what they call the spiritual manifestation of light itself, or γ, the Laser Cultists have been known to create their houses of worship near, or in the case of the New Aquila Cult, in Nuclear Power Plants. While the Cult itself has not strayed into outlandish (by Schismian standards) or illegal territory, their unique ways of worship and less than glamorous history has put many of their neighbors on edge.

With no light pollution and few clouds in the summer months, the settlers of the tundra are free to look up at the cosmos before them, its distant light nearly completely unhindered. But as the night cold comes, even the hardy Schismians turn in for the night, their burning furnaces providing warmth to the sealed homes and huts. In the Province of Theda, far from any town or village, a massive explosion has been recorded near the border with Egordia and Dominold. Citizens of Zinfalls and outlying homesteads reported a bright light at rough 7 a.m., which illuminated much of the southeast. Similarly, farmers in Bunker City, on the opposite side of the Dividing Mountains, reported a strange flash coming from the north. Even settlers in the town of Current spotted an odd glow towards the west. Investigative teams dispatched to the area the following day discovered a massive crater, roughly 5 miles in diameter, embedded at the base of the mountain range. Reportedly, the area around the crater seemed to have been disturbed greatly, appearing to have been briefly liquefied before settling. Interestingly, the radius of the effect stretched exactly ten miles from the crater without any irregularities, as though something had contained the explosion. Just outside the "contained" area, a charred human skeleton was found, believed to be male. Investigation on what occurred is ongoing, though the Commonwealth's government is on alert for what may have been some form of weapon.

The Republic is done and completely surrenders unconditionally, mainly cause they're just sick of everything. Movement and evacuation of remaining missiles with troops and naval assets worldwide begins as they're brought home.

RP: Trade Agreement made
After the meeting was had with Archron, the Exbrenian terms for the trade deal would it would fully restart it's worker volunteer program to send workers to Archron, and would pay 2 million dollars for each ton of Archinite. With this info being received, the scientists begin construction on the archinite reactor. Shortly after it is built, it will be tested to ensure it properly works and doesn't just explode.

The Commissioner has Acknowledged that by the presidents response, war would be inevitable. The DL4 owner has agreed to rescind for the remainder of season 2, and the team will finish 4-6 (likely missing the playoffs), though Reru Tanda intends to continue playing.

Davis has ordered an additional 150,000 troops to the border with an additional 50 tanks, making sure no weak spots can be taken advantage of. 275,000 more are being prepared to potentially be stationed if it is deemed necessary.

In the meantime, the Lirana Air Force directs a group of paratroopers to land behind the Tandan attack, taking place in a day. The 410,000 troops sent to fight are directed to engage from the side, and should take about a day to join the fray.
