Rp: The beggining to an End
23 years...more than two decades have taken for the Dzē race to unify, faced with taboo breakers, cultists, former allies and calamities, it took 23 years for Shaman-King Kamvēnkēr of the Ze to finally eliminate all evil from the tribes and take vengeance for his family's death. The 35yo Dzē has been elected by the Nobles and Populace to lead the Kāmag Ygzȳndzȳ (Great/Magnificent Nation) and its 100 tribes until he dies and a Shaman-King must be elected from his family.
After being elected Shaman-King of Kāmag Ygzȳndzȳ, Kamvēnkēr Ze has decided that as a first step all of the Border Pillars, the Zēndzēmer, get re-alocated to the extent of the nation, to eliminate certain barriers between the tribes and avoid confusion for border patrols. Any outsiders found by a military patrol must be bringed forth to the Shaman-King and not butchered and eaten (instantly, they can still be if they misbehave). A new age seems to be on the horizon for the Dzē peoples...
RP Expansion of Akjana Relations:
The Empire of Gora states that it is thrilled to have formed relations with the great nation of Platinum. The Goran Government will begin setting up the Goran embassy in the Autonomous Province of Alingarch. The Goans also inform Platinum that they are welcome to open an embassy in Bluehold City. Minister of Trade Galton would receive large praise for this long but massive success, and he has become very popular with the Goran public. Galtons standing in the Party of Gloria would also rise, as he becomes one of the most popular and influential politicians in the nation.
RP: Attempting to make contact
With the appearance of Walking Zekeian droids, many Archian soldiers would have to be held back to prevent storming in and shutting it all down. However, with increasing evidence of the Zekeian bodies, not performing like they usually would. Archron has begun to think of ways to establish contact. Reaching a decision a few weeks after the discovery, Archron would send 3 Spartans inside the Scrap yard, in a attempt to start a communication of sorts. the Zekeian bodies would have voice modifiers that would allow the Reassemblers to speak in the Archian tongue
RP: Eeeeh...
The three Spartans are quickly noticed, and halted by the Zekeian-like drones from approaching too deeper where the heart of the colony stood. The Colonial Protectors stand idle and prepared in the background to protect their little home from foreign assets trying to waltz in further - for now, under the command of the sentient drones, they will do naught but sit still and be all menacing.

The voice came from behind the small group of Zekeia-Drones that halted the Spartans; they make way as yet another similiar looking drone stepped forward to meet the Spartans.

RP: Countering their evolution
With Dawnbreakers proving to be more intelligent than expected, the government authorizes another 25,000 soldiers to head to the mainland and continue their "hunting" which has now been revealed to be more defending than hunting, which many soldiers are fine with doing. Even with the extra soldiers however, many farms remain undefended due to most of the new 25,000 soldiers get assigned to pre-existing squads to bolster them in the event of an actual Dawnbreaker attack against a squad. The offerings are left where they are however the snow drake armor is quite interesting to many soldiers. Protests on the mainland have somewhat died down as food has become somewhat steady as all food shipments would go through these coastal cities. The story is vastly different on the islands however, as the riots only seem to get worse. With rioters still citing massive food shortages, governmental inefficiency, and the DSP's attempt to rig the election (Which has been solved as the DSP has now been banned). Many grocery stores now find themselves closed down and barricaded to protect against these rioters. This however does not stop rioters from entering, as the more organized ones utilize vehicles to break through the front doors to enter. Riots now also begin to occur in response for the governments inefficiency, however this time government buildings are targeted, these rioters however are quickly dispersed with the use of fire hoses to push them away and disperse crowds. Within these same buildings, the words "Martial law" begin to circulate as a possible counter to these riots.
RP: Count Us In
The government of Windardia has released a statement formally announcing their intention to compete in the International Kalranian Olympics Games. However, the country of Windardia will need to put together and form a team, but the neccasary information will likely be given later today.
RP: Julian Jafari Mans the Guns! (Archron empire East evvia)
It all started with poor timing.
The East Evven navy, one day, was on a regular patrol of their side of the Letanrican alongside an Archian destroyer. One of the front-most ships in the patrol still had its PA systems on from daily prayer, which gave all in the general area a perfect opportunity to hear its captains ill will to the West...
...This would have gone just fine, had a West Evven ship not been patrolling the waters nearby.
Events similar to this, with the exact same East Evven ship, would transpire several more times in the months following.
This would finally culminate in what will be seen by historians as the most useless naval standoff ever held in the Letanrican Sea. A rickety fence of West Evven naval forces met with a well-masoned wall of East Evven ships... What felt like an eternity (but what was actually five hours) passed before the West Evven ships backed off, their tails between their legs...
...Certainly, this will not be the end of this, as West Evven President Julian Jafari has just signed into action an initiative to bolster the navy. This comes at East Evvia still has yet to fully renovate their navy, with much more on the way.
Further standoffs are inevitable; one could only hope that nothing becomes of them.

RP: Rumania To Send Aid Supplies to Exbrenia
Bucuresti, Rumania - The Rumanian Government has announced the creation of a mission to Exbrenia to supplement the Evven aid. The Rumanian Government will send 2,500 Military Police and foodstuff and other basic commodities. The Rumanian mission will work with Exbrenian Authorities to oversee the distribution of foodstuffs but the control of distribution will ultimately remain with the Rumanian mission until the Exbrenian state can re-organize itself. RP: Wreck of the Lapusneanu
Iasi, Rumania - The Rumanian Government has agreed to aid PetroRumania's cleanup effort but has rejected the New Sedran assertion that the Rumanian Government itself was at fault for the ship wreck and stated that the blame lies with PetroRumania, a private corporation, not the government. Regardless of who is to blame, the Rumanian Government and PetroRumania would begin to fly and ship cleanup materials and crews to New Sedran. However, despite the best efforts of the Rumanians, the necessary materials would not arrive to New Sedran in large enough quantities in time to treat the slick before it could wrap around the coastline and cause extreme harm to the environment. Teams of people and some cleanup materials (such as booms and skimmers) could be brought to New Sedran by air, and thus take only a day to arrive. However, there were no Rumanian ships to use the booms and skimmers so PetroRumania offered to give the materials to the New Sedran officials to use to cleanup. PetroRumania also reccomended the use of dispersants to treat the slick, however this was questioned by Rumanian officials who doubted the safety and effectiveness of the dispersant chemicals. Meanwhile three and a half miles offshore, the Lapusneanu sat with a skeleton crew and leaking oil, waiting for treatment from the local officials and Rumanians. The amount of oil that had flowed out of the ship was yet unknown, but estimations showed that in the almost two days the ship had leaked nearly 10 million gallons of crude oil into the sea. RP: Solving the oil Problem
Receiving some equipment from the Rumanians, The Archians have taken the mantle to solve this problem. Having dealt with small scale oil spills, Archron would be tested in its abilities. However, Archron would attach the Rumanians booms and skimmers to the ships to contain the oil. Archron has also begun operations to drain the tanker of its oil and transfer it to separate tanks to salvage and stop the leaking as much as possible. The efforts are only temporary, waiting for the Rumanians to arrive
RP: More Migration
Archron would take another problem. More Dawn Breakers would begin to migrate towards Exbrenia. Archron would attempt to scare the birds into staying on the Island by firing blank shells from 2 destroyers. However, there efforts would be futile. The Dawn Breakers would skip the Exbrenian Islands and move to the Mainland. Many would notice the rapid violence on the Islands, and be driven away. 30,000 would arrive on the Mainland and greet their relatives, essentially. As they began to settle in, The Dawn Breakers would begin to raid Farms that were even guarded by Soldiers. Mass assaulting and being able to overwhelm the Exbrenian soldiers. As well to add onto the problems, the Dawn Breakers would begin to pick up the rifles and use them against the Soldiers on future raids.
RP June 10th, 2115, meeting with the Gorans
Flying overhead they are met with a rather Underwhelming view, Pogotl is a fairly small minimalistic city, not even having walls, instead just simple earthen mounds around it. It's also rather compact and built into the mountainous part of the coast, making room for nearby plains rising into highlands wherein the land is fairly well farmed. The stone masonry architecture is rustic and uninviting, utilizing a drab color palette of light gray, tan, and brown. On the west side of the city is a wide roadway with moderate traffic, heading from the mountains and urban center all the way to the port, presumably originating in the highland roads.
Not really having anything in the way of air infrastructure, some soldierly looking fellows at the port awkwardly scramble to clear a marketplace for the plane to land, pushing aside crates, stalls, and the like. Directing these people is a man dressed in nice attire and bearing the national insignia on the back of his coat.

In order to combat Icewindias new reinforcements to keep the Kowenians from being rescued, ships have become less common, and there has been a higher usage of planes with Military Officials on board.
RP: Immigration to Kiamai
While travel has been banned to and from Kiamai, Nonadia has lifted the ban and around 400,000 Nonadians flood multiple Airports and get flights to Kiamai. Most Nonadians are moving there temporarily, but others have plans to stay in the nation of Kiamai.
RP: The Nonadian Population Crisis Part 3 Protest Boogaloo: Massive Unrest in El Kin
With Nonadia waiting for a response from the Monarch on the Handrol's Tool Shop Massacre, he gathers a rally of 400,000 in Swanie and has a speech which is recorded by every single major news agency.
"I stand before you as a crisis befalls us, as one of the most important moments in Nonadian history occurs. We cannot stand by and wait for the Shinist deities to help us, instead we must prove that we can handle something on this scale. That Nonadia will stay united even though there seems that there is no light at the tunnel. Instead we must create that light. The only way we can get out of this tunnel is to stay together. Unity is stronger than the forces that attempt to divide us but it will only work if we let it work."
Riots of around 1,000,000 people break out in the city of El Kin demanding that the Government arrest the police officers involved in the Handrol's Tool Shop Massacre since he hadn't done much except deliver a speech.. 500 Riot police come to the aid of the city at the request of Mayor Payol Zalzoski and a curfew is set for 6:00 P.M. The curfew comes and only around 200,000 left after the curfew, leaving 800,000 still protesting. Riot police begin forcefully pushing back the protesters and it begins to get violent. Protesters throw firecrackers at police leaving 10 injured, the response is faster pushing by the Riot police to end the protests. Buildings are lit on fire by protesters and firefighters arrive as fast as they can to respond. One protesters fires a BB gun at a firefighter injuring him, and the NIS has launched an investigation into who did it, which isn't expected to take long.
As Riot police push more, more protesters begin to leave, while the leader of the protest orders them to continue marching. Around 300,000 still protest at midnight and 100 soldiers are called in from the Reserves to prevent it from getting more violent. Around 100,000 remain at 2:00 A.M and the leader of the protests orders that protesters push through the police. This results in 300 Protesters injured, 3 Riot police injured, and one protester killed after getting bonked by a Riot shield and fatally falling to the ground head first.
The damage from the riot is estimated at 50 - 150 million Nanoes (100 - 300 million USD). News outlets name it the worst case of instability since the Kings and Queens party marched on the capital to abolish the Third Republic and replace it with the Third Empire over 70 years ago. Congress disagrees on the issue and the Senate has yet to come up with a solution to what started the entire thing.
RP: Communist Party Leader Exiled
After the protests, 20 Police officers raid Communist Party Leader Uzol Qalsoni's house and order he leave the nation within 30 days or he will be arrested. This comes after the government discovered he had actively helped plan the protest in El Kin, and the government planned to raid his house soon after under the accusation that he committed treason. Qalsoni quickly buys a Yacht with the rest of his money and requests to move into Kynthes due to their sympathies to communists.
RP: Withdrawing the Troops
King Galiva completely forgot about the troops in Conglagateia and orders them to move back to Nonadia. He offers the Conglagateian government 25 million Nanoes (50 million USD) to apologize for not withdrawing previously.

Some planes sustain heavy damage, but are able to make it back safely while some others are less fortunate. It is estimated that out of the last round 35 flights, 10 planes were shot down, 5 sustained heavy damage, 7 sustained light damage, and the rest made it out fine. Meanwhile, every Kowenian who applied who has been rescued with the help of larger planes, and along with the Nonadians who are entering Kiamai, they are currently being given houses and jobs. Kiamai has announced that Kiamaian Activity in the islands will cease now, since all applicants who survived and werent on any of the doomed flights have been brought to Kiamai.

No spamming, flaming, name calling, or baiting.
RP posts are the equivalent of your nation speaking, keep the posts official and mature.
RP Posts should avoid explicit references to real-life entities. We are on Kalrania, not Earth.
Nations may set their RP population to any number equal to, or lower than their NS population. Nations may not set their RP population to any number greater than their NS population.
When roleplaying, it is courteous to obtain prior consent before interacting with another roleplayer. RP Moderation may require prior consent be obtained in certain roleplay situations.
No God-modding, all RP actions must be carried out with time for nations to react to your posts. For example; assassinating another nations' leader is fine, but you need their permission first. Legions of tanks and airplanes should not descend upon your enemies without warning. Post something that signals your intent.
Other Examples of God-modding include
Saying what happens to others. "I just killed 500 of your troops!"
Refusing to take losses or lose. Ever. "Oh, well, my soldiers had personal forcefields so none of them were actually hurt. "

Irresponsible/Unfair Tech Use Tech should be used to enhance the roleplay, it should not detract from anyone's enjoyment. No seal-clubbing. Follow Technology Rules (Explained Below.)
Excessive Army Size. Self-Explanatory. Avoid throwing millions upon millions of soldiers around as if they were small ants- soldiers are people. Troop counts must not exceed your nations' troop limit, which is explained below.
Very Fast Military Units. Kalrania is a big place. Troops take time (multiple posts) travelling anywhere. Forces cannot appear out of thin air, or "instapop" out to where an opponent is.
Fluffing is not allowed in the RMB RP, some forms may include;
Troop Fluffing - The use of insane, immensely large troop numbers without also RP'ing the implications of such numbers on your own nation's economy, workforce, logistics, etc. (If you want to use big, multi-million man armies, you are also going to have to deal with big problems that come with that.)
Money Fluffing - The use or spending of ridiculous amounts of your national currency without exploring the economic RP implications of such an action. (Yes, I also want to spend 3 trillion moneymarks on super-projects, but such an action comes with consequences.)
Stealth Fluffing - Stealthy units are harder to detect, they are not invisible. Utilizing a force made up entirely of stealth units makes them neither invisible, nor cost effective. Using stealth units as a means to render your forces invisible is both Stealth Fluffing as well as Godmodding.
Tech/Magic Fluffing - Technology or magic that is legal under the Technology Rules, but still allocates an absurd or unfair advantage to your nation is Tech/Magic Fluffing. If your technology or magic allows you to, among other things, ignore any damage or incoming fire from enemy forces it is both Tech/Magic Fluffing and Godmodding.
Alliance Fluffing - Claiming to have an alliance with any nation(s), without having proper RP Posts to back it up. Alliances, Defensive Pacts, Etc. must have a charter document, and must be listed as an official alliance. Nations may join only ONE (1) Military/Defensive alliance at a time. Additionally, nations cannot utilize the forces of other alliance/union members unless a clearly-defined force has been explicitly placed under their command.
All RP posts must be styled, with "RP" bold at the top, followed by the title of your post, which should indicate what the post is about. All RP Posts should be done in-character (as your nation). When in RP, you are no longer you, you are your nation. Like the following:

A dispatch/ factbook is to be written for any custom tech, explaining its strengths, weaknesses, and uses.
All technologies must adhere to Technology Rules.
All military sizes will be determined by stats from the following calculation.
- So if Candensia has a population of 1 billion, Candensia would multiply their population by 0.62, and then multiply that number by 0.12
1 Billion times 0.62 is 620 Million
620 Million times 0.12 is 74.4 Million.
The Result of that calculation will then be multiplied by 0.25, 0.33, or 0.40, depending on the nations' population Nations with a population of 1 Billion to 2.99 Billion will multiply their answer by 0.33 Nations with a population of over 3 Billion will multiply their answer by 0.25 Nations with a population of 5 Million to 999 Million will multiply their answer by 0.40
So Candensia will multiply their answer, 74.4 Million, by 0.33, since Candensia has a population of 1 Billion.
74.4 Million times 0.33 is 24.5 Million. Therefore, Candensia has a military size of 24.5 Million.
Federations/Unions are not allowed to use their combined population to calculate military size, it must be done per nation.
All military weapons, units, and technologies must adhere to Technology Rules.
Wars must be declared under some sort of pretense (i.e. there must be a legitamate, sensible reason)
Annexation is currently allowed under certain circumstances, which are listed in the dispatch below.
Peace treaties must be fair to both nations. The end result must be fair, and this aspect will be overseen by RP Moderators.
Nations engaged as an aggressor in an offensive war must wait 2 RP years (14 IRL Days) before declaring subsequent offensive wars.

Now, if you're anything like me, I know what you're thinking; "Antekuna, this is great and all, but I just want to start RPing with Lord Platinium, do I really need to get a map spot to do that?" The answer is yes, you do! Because it would quickly turn into a nightmare if people had no way of knowing where your nation and territory is!
Don't worry, though. Despite there being an entire dispatch on it, submitting a map request is quick and easy. But it's important to remember a few key rules:
You may claim up to two map tiles.
If you claim two map tiles, they must be connecting.
Roleplayers can not have more than one nation on the map. If you wish to RP as a new nation, your old one must first be removed from the map.
Now, for the part you came here for, submitting a map request! There are two main ways to do this:
You may either:
Send one of the region's Cartographers (currently Antekuna, The Atomic Schism, and Northern new solingarch) a telegram disclosing the spot you'd like.
or:
Join THTHI's Discord and claim your desired land in the aptly named #map-requests channel.
While the first option doesn't require leaving the comforts of NationStates, the second will guarantee you a quicker response time, and is more convenient if you're already a part of THTHI's Discord (if you haven't joined, please do, we have a pickle)
Finally, after having selected your spot, praised Lord Platinium (optional, but recommended) and submitted your request, you may begin RPing!
But I hear you ask; "What if I want to join the roleplay, but despise permanent territory and immobile settlements almost as much as I revere Lord Platinium?" Fear not! There exists another option in Other Nations!
Other Nations are nations that don't quite fit the mold. They can be a lot of things, but they fall into two categories:
Nomadic Nations are, in a shocking twist, nomadic tribes and peoples that travel throughout Kalrania. While similar to diaspora peoples at first glance, they are different in that they have their own governments and societal structures, as opposed to simply residing in another nation. If you choose this category, be sure to get permission from the nations you're interacting with before you do anything. If not, you may suffer the wrath of the mods and see your posts voidnuked (declared illegal and removed from the RP).
Diaspora Peoples are unique in that they aren't actually nations. Instead, they are a race, cultural or ethnic group that are dispersed across one or several different nations that aren't their own. As with nomadic nations, don't forget to get the thumbs up from your host nation(s) before you RP.
Question 1: My nation was removed from the map! Why is that?
Answer: Our region has an inactivity policy. If you fail to write an RP post in 15 days, your nation is removed from the map. Don't worry about being removed without notice, though; we do our best to notify nations two days before they reach that point.
Question 2: I just finished winning a war with my neighbor and want to take some land from them as part of the treaty, can you add it to my nation?
Answer: That depends. Annexation is currently allowed, but only under specific circumstances.
Question 3: I'm no longer happy with my map spot and want to move somewhere else. Can I?
Answer: Of course! However, you can't relocate while at war with another nation, as that can be abused by those looking to foil an enemy invasion or assist an allied one.
Question 4: Who is Lord Platinium, and why do you keep mentioning him?
Answer: Great question!
Question 5: I requested that my nation have a custom name and it was rejected. Why?
Answer: Nations are listed on the map the same as they are on NationStates. This is done to make it easier for both roleplayers and roleplay moderators to identify who is who.
Question 6: If I can only claim two tiles, why are there nations with more than two on the map?
Answer: Previously, nations were allowed to claim up to three tiles. However, due to there being less and less space on the map, that number has been reduced to two, to free up space for new nations.
Question 7: If I'm on an island, can I request a tile on land next to it?
Answer: In the past, you could. However, for similar reasons as mentioned above (see question 6), that is no longer allowed. If you have small islands on your coast, though, that is fine. (Note: this does not apply to archipelago nations. If all you are is a bunch of tiny islands, those islands will be grouped into tiles based on how they're clustered. The two island groups by the poles, for instance, are both considered one tile.)
