RP: Forced Hands
Not long after the defeat of the Kuni fleet by the now collapsed Alingarch, news began to trickle into the Antenesian islands. As it did, the Loyalist atolls were forced to reckon with a new reality. In islands whose history was defined by their powerlessness to resist the mainland in conflict, the Kuni now held no power. Should they desire, the Antenesian government in Lahonas could easily call upon their allies and manpower and bring the rural atolls to their knees.
Worse, the Republic knew this all too well, and they pressed it, mounting pressure for the Loyalists to honor the Treaty of the Houses and hold referendums on joining the Republican government. Reluctantly, and after some dialogue, the Loyalist government agreed to this. A vote, atoll by atoll, was set up regarding the future of the cause; would they remain loyal to powers which can no longer protect or assist them, or would they join the enemy that split the nation?
In the end, many chose the latter. Of the almost two dozen atolls, all but 5 voted with varying majorities to join the Republic, including all the most populous ones.
The newly-integrated atolls shall have temporary representatives appointed to the legislature, before holding elections after their populations are tallied in the next census.
The coming years will test the merits of peaceful reintegration, but the results are already being shown. As Luita'ani's second term comes to a close, the event has both cemented her administration's enduring legacy and provided a much needed feather in her cap after a gruelling four years of stagnancy bred by cabinet infighting and persistent gridlock.
Though five atolls remain under Loyalist control, their fight is largely over. Those islands which hold steadfast to the Kuni are miniscule and autarchic, numbering no more than two or three thousand put together. And should public sentiment change, there is not a thing they could do to oppose integration into the bolstered Republic.
The Antenesian Civil War, for all intents and purposes, is over.
RP: Welcome to the Republic
Shortly after reports of diplomats and explorers from Saint Shokai arriving in Windardia, multiple government workers have shown at the border to greet them.
"Salutations, my foreign friends!" One says, waving at them. As he approaches, he introduces himself. "I am Finn Halbar, and I'm here to show you around our wonderful country and show you the finest of Windardian hospitality. As a token of friendship, President Gilligan has given us some goodie bags to give you." He motions to the baskets his fellow envoys are holding. He continues to speak as the envoys offer the baskets. "We'll have a fun time here, I promise you. We can take a stroll though the capitol, or we can go camping in the great Windardian Forest. Or, more importantly, if you wished to meet with the President, I'm sure we could get something arranged." He pauses for a moment before looking at the baskets the envoys have just handed out. "Oh, is anyone here allergic to peanuts or something similar? I've heard it's a common allergy among humans."

The Imperial Ministry of State has recently announced the acceptance of Liranaholm into the Nationalist League with the Blayredeshian Imperial Ministry of Trade encouraging other Nationalist League nations to open up trade relations with the Lirana if they haven't done so already.
RP (Secret except to Woleve Atraland and Artaecus)
The International Security Division agents are quite pleased at first to see how many locals are willing to help and spread right wing and nationalist ideals to the East Kowenian population, with a few small right wing groups already being established before the Atralandians came in. Although the agents note that the right wing groups’ strong anti-Incheon city and also anti-Nakatoro (a Kowenian coastal city that is seen as a semiautonomous region of Schwypia) sentiments. One agent in a report back to the International Security Division described fueling the right wing movement in East Kowen as “opening up Pandora’s box” if not done carefully and how encouraging the movement can see East Kowen develop a hostility towards Nakatoro and increased aggression towards Incheon city.
RP
As East Kowen continues to gradually develop economically, the country has had a severe energy deficiency to fuel it’s growing economy. Normally the communist regime would have built numerous coal plants (since coal is a very abundant resource of the Kowenian states) to make up for the deficiency, although various political parties of East Kowen have been pushing for the expansion of nuclear power across the country pointing towards the success that is the Taedong Nuclear Power Plant, which is the largest nuclear plant not only in East Kowen, but throughout all of Kowen. The East Kowenian government though has hesitated in making a decision, a representative of the government commented on the cost of building numerous nuclear plants and the concerns of safety and it being a potential target for terrorists. “We are right now appealing the Artaecusian government for their opinion on the matter and if they will support such a move.” Said the representative in a press conference on the issue.

really busy ATM scores are coming tonight or tomorrow it depends
As the nation marks her tenth birthday, so too do the tides mark a shift.
Indeed, the past years have been remarkable ones. A tiny cluster of islands, inhabited by a people numbering in the tens of thousands, had thrown off the shackles of an apathetic and increasingly hostile civilization. Venturing without outside guidance into the Kalranian world, they underwent a metamorphosis. A Constitution was established, with a republican government. A census was held, elections too. They opened their shores to foreign investment and development, gained and lost their greatest ally and benefactor in Alingarch, acquired numerous friends, stood shoulder to shoulder with the titans of the world in Tau Volantis and marched as their equals under the League of Nations in Blayredeshia. For but a moment, they even held a seat on the League's Security Council. And, a few short weeks ago, the politically fractured nation was all but reunified, all without a single drop of Antenesian blood spilt.
Leading the vanguard of the movement which punched so far above their weight were personalities known and unknown. The obvious name is Luita'ani, the now nonagenarian figure who in her remarkable age now leaves Lahonas politics with an equally remarkable legacy. But to leave it at that is to sell things short. It ignores the others who brought to bear their own remarkable talents, abilities, and willpower. The diplomats who broke through culture and language barriers to pave the road ahead. The workers who toiled to better the nation as foreign resources began to trickle in. The many bureaucrats, doctors, and other men and women who began the long adjustment to an alien society with alien structures, at once familiar and so terribly foreign. And of course, the people. The thousands who steered their way through these turbulent times with a steadfast courage and will.
That is not to say all went willingly. The old ways stand strong in Antenesia, and though their banner has withered and frayed with the collapse of the Loyalists and Kuni power projection on the high seas, the Nationalists remain firm in their adherence to the traditions which held Antenesian society together throughout the centuries and millennia. They have been, and will continue to be, a force to be reckoned with in Antenesian society.
But the Nationalists are not the only ones without their leaders. As the Onahōtū administration hands the presidency to the winners of the election, Luita'ani has made clear her retirement from politics will follow. What's more, several of her most influential cabinet ministers - her adopted son Pokalemalu in particular - are expected to withdraw from the political scene.
One, however, will definitely remain.
The 2134 elections are, if nothing else, a battle of vice presidents: Aeto Tōkapa Pinaonao, first vice president and favored Internationalist candidate, and Manukula Ele'ele Hōkūpana, second vice president and torchbearer of the Nationalist movement.
Pinaonao, a man whose temperament is as humble as his perceived energy level, stands as an uncontroversial pick who is set to largely continue along the path set by the Internationalists. Though his health is reportedly declining, he nevertheless has made his desire clear to run. Notably, he has not committed to a second term, remarking "that's something to be decided when the time comes." He has also stressed the need to put politics out of mind, doing what is necessary for the nation instead of treating the presidency as a resume-builder for the next election.
His argument plays well into his rhetoric, as his opponent Hōkūpana has been widely accused of just that. The man has gained an infamy over the past four years over his purportedly incessant stonewalling of Luita'ani's agenda, and opposition to many trusted cabinet ministers. Indeed, the numbers would seem to back his dissenters up; while no one left the administration in the first term, two of the five counsels have resigned during the second. Even the Counsel of Diplomacy, Pokalemalu, known for his ability to build bridges in Antenesian politics, has reportedly had great difficulty working with him, and many suspect it to be the reason behind his imminent departure.
Saying Hōkūpana is widely hated would be objectively true, but one man's trash is another's treasure. The man enjoys great support among many of the Nationalists and rural members of society for his continued promises to distance Antenesia from the Odrelans and safeguard her against exploitation. In this, his obstinance as vice president has perhaps rewarded him, with many pointing to his record as a sign of a man who is not afraid to do what is necessary for the good of Antenesia.
But in the end, cooler heads would prevail. Despite stronger than expected support for Hōkūpana, Aeto Tōkapa Pinaonao has won the election with a steady majority, with 57% against Pinaonao's 43%. While still being a multi-digit margin, the election has again demonstrated the ever-increasing polarization of Antenesia's politics, as the Nationalists continue to narrow the gap between themselves and their Internationalist competitors.
However, the legislature has seen an interesting development. With the assemblies bolstered by the admittance of many formerly Loyalist atolls into the Republic, a new faction has emerged. Comprised largely of the new atolls, the self-described "Traditionalists" have gained several seats, even breaking the Internationalist majority in the Regional Assembly. This new group has made the preservation of traditional Antenesian culture their cause, causing notable overlap with the Nationalist base.
However, the group is far from cohesive. While there is broad agreement in not losing their identity in the face of foreign presence and a unifying desire to preserve tradition and a distrust of said foreigners, the faction is otherwise a coalition of divergent interests and opinions. Among the old and landed, some still call for isolationism and renewed contact with the Kuni. Yet a group of moderates consider this delusional, and in awareness of the current geopolitical realities have branded themselves as a reasonable alternative to the nationalists. This "White Wing", standing against the "Black Wing" of the more extreme pro-Kuni members, focus more on the devolution of power to local authorities and the raising of tariffs and restrictions on foreign products to protect Antenesian markets, shunning broader foreign policy altogether.
While the Black Wing Traditionalists will likely align themselves with the Nationalists, the White Wing remains an open question. While their ideals for protection align with the nationalists, they also have shown opposition to returning to the Kuni, believing that foreign investment, albeit in restricted breadth and scope, is essential for prosperity. In this position, they will likely find themselves the tiebreaker of many a dispute.
Antenesia's first decade may forever be the cast in which new generations are molded, but that cast is still very much malleable. And as the old faces go, new ones shall rise to take their place, and guide Antenesia along their own course.
