As the war reaches half a year in age, the dynamics are shifting.

The Starkillers and DRA have continued their grueling campaigns on their borders, each bitterly fending off the other. With both sides growing tired of the increasingly costly standstill, they have each launched an offensive, with the Starkillers hoping to claim the panhandle under DRA control with the other pushing up the eastern coast. Each point is strategically vital, with the east opening up a path into Starkiller heartland and the west holding many rich ports. However, since both sides have been caught off guard by their enemy's offensive, they have been forced to call upon the allied armies in the area to assist in the defense of their territory.

On the Kaikan side, the faction is finally beginning to push their border northwards, sending an army to reconquer the beaches and inland territories to their northwest. In an attempt to divert the Kaikan Forces' attention, the DRA has sent a smaller army to push into the eastern coastline of their enemy. However, a Kaikan army stationed in the area caught wind of the army's movements, and have encamped themselves on a ridge in preparation of the attack.

Battle of the Panhandle

Battle of Regulus

Belligerents:

Attacking: DRA Army (500,000)

Defending: Starkiller Army & Waves Summitian Allies (402,000 [400,000 Starkiller, 2,000 Waves Summitian])

With the Old Exbrenians being pushed out of the small town, New Exbrenia eases up on the defenses in Noteria, though almost an hour after half the defending force left Noteria, the Old Exbrenians pushed into the city using civilian disguises, the New Exbrenian forces stood no chance, this attack has caused Old Exbrenian forces to have a morale increase, it also allowed Old Exbrenia to gain some new forces, having over half the city's civilians go into the Old Exbrenian militia, and due to Noteria's size, being the second largest city only surpassed by the capital, many small cities have even formed their own militias claiming allegiance to Apollyon, thing are beginning to look good for the Old Exbrenians... but for how long

RP: Different tack

As all research regarding the Entropy Dynamo was destroyed as a result of the Causality Failure, (shut up yes it was) the Glacial Antartican stargate needs a different source of power, which will be a new version of the standard Mana Reactor. It's big, clunky, and inefficient, but it'll do the job. It'll take a while to install, though.

The DRA:

With a remarkable string of victories, the DRA has fended off both the Kaikan and Starkiller Forces and pushed deep into each's territory, significantly expanding their land and putting their enemies on the back foot. While this has been a great morale booster and resulted in a notable increase of population and resource availability, they still remain economically brittle and overextended.

Population Percentage: 37%

Receiving Support From: Mantaslavia, Rumanian States

Main Enemies: Both rival groups

The Starkillers:

After having their offensive halted and a crushing defeat handed to them to the east, the normally victorious faction now struggles to recompose themselves. Massive public outrage over the defeats have resulted in a deep hatred of the current military council members, and as a result many have been deposed by popular vote and lynched. Yearning for new combat methods, the public and the mostly inexperienced new members of the military council are turning to the recently enlisted Redpeppersian military advisor for guidance.

Population Percentage: 14%

Receiving Support From: Redpeppers, Waves summit, Comaraka

Main Enemies: DRA

The Kaikan Forces:

While suffering a humiliating defeat in the northeast, not much could be taken due to the reduced size of the enemy force and the defensive fortifications constructed as part of the faction's generally defensive and cautious mentality. Although taking a small hit from the loss of northeastern territory and the Mantaslavian bombing campaigns, the Kaikan economy continues to roar thanks to the large economic aid from the Werewolf Islands.

Meanwhile, with ten months having passed since Kaikah Paqaramar was elected dictator, re-elections are scheduled to decide if his term is to be extended six months. It is pretty much universally expected that his term will be extended, and the DRA has used this fact to their advantage. They've doubled down on propaganda, spreading a plethora of tales of Paqaramar's corruption, ambitions, and malevolence, and saying that once his second term is instated, he will completely seize power for himself.

Astounded by the crazy victories accomplished by the DRA the Rumanian Monarchy pledges more to the DRA. The amount of supplies and aid flowing into the territory increases, and another 50,000 soldiers and reinforcements are shipped out to the DRA. Two airwings of strategic bombers and escorts are shipped out to DRA territory to execute strategic bombing against the Kaikan and Starkiller infrastructure and industry. Rumanian military and economic advisors also request the DRA to be allowed in to aid with the war and rebuilding.

RP: A word of advice

The advisor says "it would be wise to dig in on our defenses to recover from this blow, and take only one offensive action: attack the DRA positions south of here, cutting us of from our southern army."
Redpeppersian aircraft have been flying for four days and nights, bringing the total number of Redpeppersian troops within Antekuna to 40,000. These have begun to construct a defensive line in the heartland, supported by over 50 combat aircraft and 23 bombers who are running air raids at small DRA cities, largely devoid of air defenses.

The Cacords party (A Republican Party) said that they will afford this because troops are needed in these trying times. The opposition to this are the Grand Moss Party (A humanist party) they say that is too much to afford these troops. The vote will start in 3 months (4 real life days). The Queen will make a final decision on passing the resolution. They will need 50 votes from the parliament to pass it through.
