Happy Piccolo Day, the only holiday that matters!

Just-an-illusion

"Are you sure you want to do this Ray....?" Lucas asked as he looked down upon the remains of the StoryTale universe that was destroyed by Soul King a long time ago before his banishment.

"I'm sure... Its about time my friends got a true happy ending instead of having to suffer all the time. With Soul King gone as well as the other evils that plagued my universe, I want to try and at least give them a good ending." A grown up Ray said as she brushed some hair out of her left eye as she looked towards Lucas.

"Even still I doubt that once I recreate this universe... There will still be evil in your universe." Lucas said as he crossed his arms to look at Ray.

"Well this time me and my friends will be prepared next time, so you don't have to worry about us anymore." Ray said.

"In that case... I will help you recreate your universe and reset its entire timeline. Once I have done that, I shall send you into this universe and from this point on you will have the power to save and reset whenever you feel like it. I wish you the best of luck kid." Lucas explained as he hugged Ray.

"I probably couldn't have redeemed myself if it wasn't for you Ray... Now go change your friends' path."

Lucas soon let go of Ray and soon started to focus on the remains of the StoryTale universe and began to put it back together once again as he did this the memories of everyone in that universe were wiped away as Lucas began resetting its timelines. Everyone Ray knew would forget everything that had happened and the fun times they once had. After a few minutes had gone by the StoryTale Universe was finally recreated from the ground up and now it was up to Ray to enter this new universe and decide its new fate.

"One more thing.... While recreating this universe. All the friends you knew will be completely different from their original counterparts and there will also be some new people you will meet as well. Another note once I send you into this universe you will have your child body back." Lucas explained.

"I'm fine with that... After all this is me basically starting an entire new life. Speaking of which I want you to erase all my memories of the original universe I will need to do this in order to experience this new life." Ray said.

"Very well... Then I guess this is goodbye then." Lucas said before teleporting Ray into the StoryTale universe.

Once this was done, Lucas continued to look at the universe and let out a small sad sigh before turning away and teleporting away.

StoryTale Universe

A long time ago.... Both Monsters and Humanity once lived in peace ruling the Earth together. However that peace was soon shattered as the humans declared war on the Monsters out of fear for their power to take human souls. The war lasted for many years before the humans finally won and sealed the Monsters underground with a magical barrier, according to many legends the barrier can only be broken by seven human souls. With no hope left the Monsters started to make the mountain their home and try to carry on.

Years later a child will climb the mountain and fall into the underground.... Will their fall change the entire fate of the Monsters?

Underground

Ray wakes up as she groaned in pain as she stood up and looked around, she didn't know where she was and she didn't even know how she survived such a fall from such a tall height. After looking around she continued to walk towards a large doorway wondering where it will take her, once Ray walked through the doorway she saw a little white flower with a face on it? Filled with curiosity, Ray walked towards the flower and see what it is is.

"Well hiya human! Golly is been a while since I last seen a human walk through here! In fact you almost look familiar... But I can't place my vines on it. Oh excuse me! How rude of me... I haven't introduced myself yet! My name is Echo and you are?" Echo asked stilling smiling.

"Uh... My name is Ray." Ray introduced herself.

"Where am I?"

"Well your underground silly duh! Here in the underground where Monsters live!" Echo explained.

"Wait... You mean the legends are true? I thought soul stealing Monsters were just a myth..." Ray said as fear shook her voice.

"Oh don't worry about that! Most of the monsters are pretty friendly down here... You see the King of this mountain is looking for the seventh human soul and he'll need it to break the barrier, so that Monsters can return to the surface!" Echo explained still smiling.

"But not to worry human! I will make sure you are protected! First let me show you what to do when you fight a monster! Are you ready? Here we go!" Echo said as the room became black and white while a small glowing red heart appeared above Ray's chest.

"You see that heart? That's your soul! It is what keeps you alive and gives you Determination also known as human magic. However, if your soul gets hurt you will take damage and possibly die... But not to worry! You can stay safe!" Echo explained as Ray kept quiet listening to what Echo had to say.

"You see Monsters can use magical projectiles that are able to hurt you soul... But you can easily dodge them. Here try to dodge some of my white pellets!" Echo said as he winked and summoned white pellets before starting to throw them towards Ray.

Ray seeing the pellets being thrown at her dodge each of the pellets with ease.

"Wow your pretty good at this! Listen I have to go now... But I will talk with you later! Not to worry human we will be the best of friends by the end of this journey!" Echo said as he disappeared into the ground.

After Echo left a ghost lady floated towards Ray.

"Oh dear... What's a child like you doing down here by yourself. Come with me my child I shall guide you and protect you." The ghost lady said.

"My name is Hani by the way... What is your name child?" Hani asked.

"My name is Ray." Ray introduced herself.

Thats quite the post to mark your comeback

WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEELL. You ever wonder why the cursed forest is so "cursed" anyways? Why that particular pocket is just a giant NOPE so dangerous that Jet just kinda says "Yeah no you'll die" and even the likes of Sam only hangs around for so long? It's because there's a very close connection to Year of R stuff that has life there quite literally corrupted by some really bad juju. The trees, the grass, and all things that reside there are corrupted beyond repair because reasons, save for one mysterious old hag that lives at the very center of the forest. One with a particular fondness for hitting people with seemingly normal frying pans and rolling pins. Things not born or otherwise created by/from the forests corruption are free from falling victim to it just by mere presence in the forest, simply being there won't cause the corruption to take over you no matter how long you stay...the same cannot be said if someone were to SOMEHOW manage to kill and consume something of the forest.

Simply put, if Jeremy were to eat something from the forest...he would no longer be Jeremy. He'd be just another creature/monster bound to the forests borders.

IC the forest gives off SUPER bad vibes to anyone and everyone period, so even someone as stupid as Jeremy (not sorry) wouldn't dare even think to eat anything there. It's like an instinctual fear. So even those who get past the "stay the hell away" vibes would still have the sense to literally not eat anything no matter what. Or touch, really, but that part doesn't matter cause everything is trying to touch you...and not in the good way...so.

Oh, oooooh so that was why you reacted that way when Lewis-

Oh sh!t Lewis. Ah he's fine I guess.

Edit: Also its fine, Jeremy has zero real world experience bar fighting. He's like Goku, minus the plot armour that protects him from stuff like Victor and permadeath

Well Goku is a terrible example because he actually has some instincts to be a parental figure thanks to the Saiyan Bey. But you know what I mean

Tomorrow I'm gonna try and work on another post for Jeremy since I want to do a more combat oriented post.

Working up some enemies for Jeremy to fight won't be hard, he's used to fighting recklessly and now has to worry about every bad injury he can sustain if he's not careful. Hell A handful of G5's will be enough since Victor raised his power unnaturally, he's not used to wielding it.

I mean, there’s always our thread. There’s a ghoul house on Valai after all. There could be potential fights there.

While I'm thinking on it since the new Destiny season dropped. And I get immersed in more Fallen/Eliksni lore and cultural customs, that I started to wonder something in all my power crazed thinking.

Where do Guardian's and such rank on our chart of omnipotent bull? Since the Lightbearers and Wielders of Darkness amongst humanity lowball warp and subvert the rules of reality on fundamental levels instead of outright changing them like some entities do in the Destiny Universe. Would this make Lightbearers Cull level or would it be more of a challenge to estimate? Would they basically be what Primal Humans are since willpower equals power?

I'm not thinking of doing anything with it, we have enough on our collective plates to get through first since Synn has alot of stuff to do

I'm just curious about it since the Vex can accurate predict multiples futures, erase timelines, erase individuals from timelines and so on. Even being able to cross whole Universes, nevermind explore timelines within those Universes.

A lot of Destiny's Lore and abilities to not jive with the laws of our universe, which makes it either impossible to implement and therefore not in the universe, or limited in scope. There is plenty of reality warping effects that current characters have shown, but they are not the full extent of rewriting reality that high level Primal beings are capable of.

Not to mention in the case of the Vex, TGC holds only one universe. There are storyteller Universes, but those are limited and constructed Universes that pale in comparison to the real thing. Even U4, which has beings far beyond the prime universe, does not contain the "entire" universe. Only the parts that have been altered.

I'd have to do a deep dive to see where Destiny Lore lies compared to gameplay.

I myself am not familiar with the lore at all, really. But at least from a gameplay perspective they would be a far cry from cull level. Basically everything Destiny would be low G's. Maybe lore would say otherwise? Cause lore would be the proper, accurate answer since that is the canon of how things are. Can't go strictly by gameplay cause "balance" is a thing

Wabacha wrote:Though his arm has grown shaky and moves sluggishly to catch the sword, the hand that catches it holds it in a death grip. A shortsword, heavy of blade, a copy of a Wabachan weapon. Isn't he thoughtful. No, the moment's loss of focus leads to death in the face of an opponent like this. He knows this very well. The Titan Salem just faced such a man.

Just after the handoff, the assassin begins his test of the current generation. Wuddy, shaken by the familiarity, barely raises his blade to divert something from his heart, something that punches a hole into his left shoulder with a burst of red blood. Sam in his heightened state feels the intent of something coming, and can already feel the cold steel prepared to pass through his throat at the same moment Wuddy reacts to the nonexistent thrust towards his heart. He must get his summoned weapon in between his vulnerable throat and this sensation before his throat is opened up like Ruincrest's.

Driven by pure instinct Sam has no time to worry over his ally getting yet another quite grievous injury from this assassin, not as every fiber of his being suddenly screams at him that something is about to slash his throat. Without a moments pause Sam pulls up his sword, held in his left hand, angled downward as his right hand is placed against the back of the blade for support and to guide the deflection of whatever he can somehow feel driving into his throat despite the lack of it actually happening yet. In the same motion that he does this Sam moves head/neck just enough to slightly inch it out of the way, making more space for him to move the sword for a deflection. Admittedly Sam's body reacted on such pure instinctual drive that he doesn't really even process what he's doing: He's just doing it.

His sword sparks against nothing, yet Sam feels a heavy weight force itself against his blade. A cold wind whispers deadly curses through its passing, but fails to find purchase in his throat thanks to his rapid reliance on his senses. But another strike is coming, giving him no time to recover his stance as he senses the desire to plunge deep under his ribcage. Voices and whispers, directing him to his right side. He can already feel the blade digging up into his liver, he has little time to react.

Wuddy fares no better, forced to leap into the air and land clumsily to avoid being hamstrung. And try as he might, he cannot grab the unseen blades, they never fail to slip through his commands. I see... Just like the tests.

The King's eyes grow calmer, just before his assailant blade slashes through them. But that is all they do. The winds pass by, and the King straightens as best as he can with his wounds. The vampire does not fail to notice this but makes no effort to attack him as Wuddy turns to his friend desperately warding off the unknown force trying to kill him. Wuddy only managed to pass the test due to his long years of training under the current Master Wabani's father, he was too consumed by the moment to realize what it was sooner. But Sam doesn't have the luxury of years of training. There is only one way Sam could walk out of this alive. "Sam-" His voice is scarcely a croak. "Stop fighting as though you can save me. I'm a dead man. There is nothing you can do to stop this." Wuddy raises his sword in one hand halfway to a frontal guard towards his killer. "So honor my last wish, alright? Use all of your hatred, every last scrap of it, and avenge me before my heart stops beating."

Well. I... I admit I didn't think I'd see him potentially kicking the bucket.

You can only meddle with the forces of Immensus for so long before someone or something comes along to kill you.

I think John is just surprised that someone else’s character is dying than his this time around.

As a belated Saiyan Day, which was ooph March 18th, here's a day in the life of our resident full blooded not a clone Saiyan.

2:06 AM, Fairwood
After another sleepless night, Bey gives up on it and decides to get some solo training done before breakfast.

2:19 AM, Purira
After few warmup laps around the Puriran continent, Bey is about to call it there and begin proper training when he is rammed by an atmospheric Autumn Corporation drone with a shock probe attached to the front of it. The obnoxious laugh of the CEO played on repeat fades quickly after the Saiyan hurls it into deep space. Purira's skies are getting too crowded.

2:22 AM, Puriran Earth, London.
Man, London's eating sh*t.

2:23 AM, Puriran Earth, Venice
Is that a giant monster getting hit over the head by a robot with an anchor? You know what, no. Best just stay out of that one. Maybe the giant sea snake that's showing up. Could probably take care of that.

2:38 AM, Puriran Earth, Venice
Nope, can't take care of that one. How can a water worm take so many planet destroying blasts and still get angrier? Whatever, at least it hasn't hit him ye-

2:38 AM, Earthland
... Ow.

3:09 AM, Earthland
After a short power nap to sleep off the damage from being tail slapped into a mountain a sector away, Bey goes hunting for strong people in this Sector.

3:22 AM, Earthland
It's no use, the strongest people he can sense and find all get knocked out from a slap. He'll have to find somewhere else.

3:51 AM, Quinn
No.

4:06 AM, Blue Seas
No.

4:19 AM, Shinobi
No.

4:21 AM, Ocean between Sectors
Yes, but god damn it, Bey thinks to himself as he is plucked from the sky by a humanoid kaiju and tossed into an island.

5:03 AM, Island between Sectors
Well... He was definitely looking for a challenging fight. It took a lot longer than he expected, the creature was more resilient than he expected. Seemed like a female. Could talk too, which was odd for a monster. And irritating. It kept going on like "Master Ragnus this" and "Master Ragnus that" and "Spank me harder daddy Ragn-" you know what nevermind. At least he doubts he would ever see this "Ragnus" creature. And, he has a mountain of meat for Seki and himself to eat. Should last them for weeks.

5:12 AM, Ocean between Sectors
Damn it this thing is heavy. What the hell was she eating, rocks? You know what, probably was. Bey doesn't know what kaiju eat. But a massive serpentine shape in the water below him brings back very recent bad memories.

5:16 AM, Ocean between Sectors
Well, two things Bey learned today. Giant sea serpents can move and smell across large distances very quickly, and a kaiju's leg weighs much less than the rest of it. Because that's all he got away with. God damn sea snake.

5:54 AM, Fairwood
Delayed by the great weight of the kaiju leg and his own injuries, he almost forgets to start a bonfire to cook the giant drumstick before bandaging his fresh wounds. It's going to take ages for it to cook.

6:00 AM, Fairwood
"Rise and shine, it's training day."
"Ugh, every day is training day," A freshly disturbed Seki pulls her blanket over her face and tries to go back to sleep.
"And why is every day training day?"
The sigh he gets in return is muffled by the blanked before Seki pulls them back and sits up with a pout. "Because we're being hunted every day..."
Bey nods. "That's right. Now get dressed. Training begins in five minutes."
"Okay..."
"And after training we're having steak and pancakes."
Seki's face transformed from tired and glum to 100% motivated in .8 seconds flat. A new record, Bey muses and writes in his journal. Seki throws her pillow at his face in response.
"Stop taking notes of weird stuff!"
"Stop putting bricks in your pillows."
"Only when you stop first!"

8:00 AM, Fairwood
Training went well, as it usually does once Seki warms up. She has grown more aggressive in her tactics as she has gotten older. Old methods of throwing her off balance simply do not work, she is a natural at Saiyan fighting. Turning every change in a battle into an attack. She is however developing a weakness to grappling. Will have to work on that.

8:17 AM, Fairwood

Breakfast is served. The kaiju steaks turned out rich and juicy, if a bit chewy. Both Saiyans devoured 12 pounds of meat and 42 pancakes each before calling it quits. A new record, Bey jots in his journal. Seki throws a bone that cracks in two against his head. He pays it no mind. The cost of documented progress.

8:23 AM, Fairwood
The two Saiyans now go their separate ways for the day. Seki to continue trying to hunt down a Saiyan she had been lead to by an old cyborg ninja fellow, and Bey to Jacobson. There was shopping to be done. Both for food, which they need a lot of, and for bounties, for the money to buy said food.

8:29 AM, Jacobson
Hmm, now where to find pirates who don't learn their lesson. Oh, this stall has hand woven throw rugs. Bey scratches his chin as he looks over them. Could use one at the front door... His thoughts are interrupted by the distressed sounds of an elderly woman being robbed.
"Please, leave me be!" The old woman's voice trembles as she reaches for her purse with shaking hands, only to be pushed back by one of the robbers.
"Back off grandma, you can have it back, after we've stolen everything good inside!"
"You yellow curs!" She yells with a shrill voice. "Someone, help! Heeeelp! Oh thank you kind hero!" She yells as she sees Bey walking towards them and stand in between her and the thieves. "Please, they have stolen my-"
Bey looks at the thieves and points over his shoulder at the old lady. "So you guys going to kill her or what? Her screeching is getting on my nerves.
The old lady gasps. "Wh-wa-wha-wha-wh-wh-whaaaaaaaaaaaaat?"
"You serious?" Says the first thief.
"Yeah. If you don't I will. She's giving me tinnitus."
"H-how dare you, you uncouth rapscallian! You hooligan! You dirty monkey bra- aaaaaaaaaaaa..." The old lady disappears over the horizon after Bey gives her a kick.
The two thieves look at each other in surprise before laughing.
"Oh wow! Can't believe it! I don't think she's ever going to land! Ahahaha!"
"Hahaha, yeah! Good thing you did that stranger!"
Bey couldn't help but chuckle along with them. "Hah, yeah? Why's that?"
"Haha, well we already have bounties, so we didn't need the extra trouble of dealing with her!"

I thought I'd do something to remember them, it is still in the Sector's lore after all.

Just watched a video where a 5 foot Gator legitimately judo throws some dude.
Guy came up behind it to probably sit on it and mess with its face as they do at shows like this, only for it to hop up and nimbly grab his arm above and behind it, give it a shake, then throw the guy over its shoulder and let go.

All I am thinking is who in the HELL is teaching judo to alligators!?

Lake Placid: Martial Law

A group of friends go on vacation to a once popular tourist destination. While there they find hints of a massive predator living in the area. Undeterred they continue their camping trip, only to begin to be picked off one by one by a predator from prehistoric times! The government places total military lockdown over entire area preventing them from being able to leave as they struggle to escape the jaws of death pursuing them and...whats this, DOES THAT DINOSAUR KNOW JUDO?!

How many will survive? And how many will become prey? Find out this Summer!
