The Lights of a dark room slowly flicker on. On one part of a wall is made of glass for a group of scientists and observers to look on without being in the Room. Another part of the wall is also made of glass for another room, made of operators to perform tests within a safe distance. The room itself is a Long, white hallway, filled with Cameras and sensors. One side of the room is a series of targets of various sizes and materials, including a Guardian MK II hull. On the other side is a large 120mm cannon, with a Autoloading system behind it.
"Begining Tests" A voice can be heard on a speaker in the observation Room. This was follow by silence for a few seconds. Then the 120mm cannon Began to fire it's CTA ammunition. After a period of a few seconds, the gun would fire again at a tremendous speed thanks to the Swing Breech autoloading system created by Terain. However, after less then a Dozen rounds were fired in small process of time, the Test had to be stopped after sensors detected that the barrel Overheated, rendering the Cannon useless. As a result. The cannon and Autoloader will be revised to handle better heat, as well as creating delays to slow the rate of fire to help preserve Cannon life. Still, The day was not over as two guns was placed into the room.

These Two Cannons, in the surface at least, looked identical to one another. This was due to the fact that this test is being used on modified Guardian Cannons, before beginning designs of Specifically designed cannons. One of these cannons were modified to use a Triple coaxial plasma igniter for its firing mechanism. The other using a Flashboard large area emitter (FLARE). It's target would be another Guardian Tank Hull, this time two tanks facing the gun head on, where the armour is thickest.
"Begining Firing test" The voice returned on the speaker. This was followed by the FLARE gun firing instantly, with the shell going through the hull like Butter. This was followed by the next Cannon firing, giving the same results in the surface. After Testing however, the Triple coaxial plasma igniter damaged the Fins of the APFDS round, as well as being inefficient Compared to the FLARE based Gun. As a result, the FLARE system would be what the gun is built on. However, despite it being relatively successful, doubts are raised as to where it would be suited in firing CTA based Ammunition
