What kind of civilized nation outlaws duels of honor?
Uh ...such as almost all past people?
I think Julia returning. That way I can have her visit Sara first.
there are extremely worse people in history that we glorify as heroes (Churchill, Ghandi etc...) I mean Napoleon's conquest spread the idea of republicanism and liberalism across absolutist Europe. Besides if Napoleon won and managed to secure the Continetal Sistem women would have still gained their right eventualy due to the enevitable liberalization of society, hell maybe even sooner then irl.
And if you're gonna talk about egotistical narcissism then Alexander the Great is much more worse then Napoleon.
I respect a lot of military commanders throughout history
But I do not respect their views and them as people
Napoleon is one of them
George Washington, Yi Sun Shin and a few others are some I respect as people too
I am not saying Napoleon was a horrible human being
I’m saying he was incredibly self serving and ego centric, which I do not respect
I will fully agree that he did a lot of good things and did incredible feats. I can respect him and his work, but not his nature
Also yes Alexander the Great was a big ol narcissist
Booo, let the people shoot and slap each other
yeah i get it, no human in history came with no flaws either.
Except for Abe Lincoln, Sun Jat Sen, Tito and probably some others that i forgot or haven't learned about yet
Krozland, Floridian Australia, and Arque
Ok.
George Washington I’d say is pushing the line, but you gotta respect the man’s integrity, slaves and all.
Yi Sun Sin is about as close to a saint in my book as you can get
Around 5 minutes later, a short thud would be heard outside, followed by knocking
"pizza's here!"
Don’t, I’ve already had one nightmare yesterday about missing my calculus final.
Trust me, I will do worse than that.
Floridian Australia and Ehrem
“It is Rouvais Wine, so named for the area it comes from, and doesn’t come from one particular vineyard. See, Rouvais wine comes from the grapes grown in the gardens of individuals. It’s been a program of our government for a while now, we run the actual making and distribution of it, and I must say it’s been very fruitful.” He takes one more sip. “But I don’t imagine you flew down here to talk about pastry and wine, enjoyable as that is. After all, we have a relationship to kick start.”
“Aight!” Helena responds as she opens the front door.
"Вхы доес лифе хаве то бе лике тхис?",says a unnamed person seemingly sitting outside on a chair in the cold winter of Podzoldonia, looking over into empty space that is his stress.
Julia would walk in, three Pizzas stacked on top as bags hang from her arms. She would place them at the coffee table before tossing Chris a bag.
"New clothes. No labels, just how you like it. I did bring snacks but I may have to leave after eating. Sara seems to want my company given Im not allowed to call her. Wouldve gotten a pie for her as well..."
Helena would noticeably pale at the mention of Sara and Julia meeting face to face. “I…see.” she quietly states as she takes a slice of pizza.
"What?" Julia asked, concerned as she picked up a slice of cheese pizza. All the while Chris ate in silence.
Can I have one for later wave?
“She’s worried it might go…bad. Like real bad. And the fact the reason you died in the first place was because she went to you for help…” Enza explains.
