During his address to the Legislative Assembly, His Majesty King George Tupou VII the Generous has hereby invited the respected head of states of both the Coalition and its foes to the Hoalepa Holiday Villa in Nuku'alofa to discuss what is needed to have a peace treaty signed between the parties of the conflict.

"It is time for this needless bloodshed to come to an end and it is with this summit that I hope this proposition can be achieved."

Usually during modern wars between developed nations, I’ll use the Russian-Ukrainian war as an example since what else should I use, there’s plenty of negotiations between diplomats over peace before it finally gets settled. This could be the final conference, or the war could last for months more, we will see

And I was going to make a conference in my next rp post anyway

Sicilianzo accepts on the condition that the diplomats illegally arrested by Merlovich be released from prison and sent back home.

Entirely IC, on the implication you're going to negotiate and are on the back foot anyway, I see no point in releasing the diplomats just for a conference that may well not bear fruit. Sorry OOC I know it's a pain, but there'd be very little to gain IC from releasing them.

Meet in Limerick, Corgaigh. Bring a representative of some sort when you’re ready. TG me when you made up your mind.

If at all possible, give me any details about the representative.

Ill send over the Vice President and minister of the armed forces. The representatives are both happy for Rostoria to enter into the alliance. The 2 men wish to sell their weaponry and equipment but also have military bases in other countries...IC:

The Rostorian government would be happy to send over Rostorian 2 representatives. The Vice President Vladimir nakov and the minister of the armed forces Gregori Zimmerman. The 2 men would be happy and excited for Rostoria to join into the military alliance, Their 2 main goals in the alliance was to sell Rostorian military equipment and set up foreign military bases. The 2 men would get into a plane and leave for the designated city and accord place. The plane would take off from New kalkingrad and make its way to Limerick. (Hours later) The plane would be close to arriving at the designated location, The plane carrying the 2 Rostorian representatives would then call in the Limerick ground control. "Hello hello, This is Alpha-2 carrying two Rostorian representatives for the Limerick Accord. We are requesting permission for a landing, Over"

We’ve proved that this will be a bloody war. Each side has thousands dead. Our negotiating position is elevated slightly by the fact that we can make this as bloody as we wish.

It’s like 3-5 guys to possibly save tens of thousands of your own if these peace deals bear fruit

Your gain is that I don't send Imperial Intelligence to go blow up a prison wall.

It's more a show of weakness if I was to concede to your demands. We're not in a position where we need to, so we probably wouldn't.

You're already out of the war tough guy, unless you're keen on the coalition sinking your beloved battleship fleet I suggest you stick to your own problems. You're already too scared to fight Charity, imagine having to void 6 people.

Sell it as an act of grace and mercy in this time of bloody war. It’s only a sign of weakness if you advertise it as one

Fair point, but grace and mercy isn't exactly the style we're going for.

Which is probably what you would do, bolstering the will of your people with the forlorn hope that their efforts will mean anything in the bloody and painful end.

Look, I never said the release had to be publicized. As far as the people are concerned, they’ll be in your prisons, but who’s to say if they show up in a Sicilian villa under house arrest, protected from the medias prying eyes?

I want my people back, then we can talk.

I understand, but like I said. We don't really need to talk, we're on the front foot right now.

If we need to negotiate later we'll come back to this.

The meeting place is an Imperial Railroad Station

Though the Imperial Railroad is nominally freight only, the guests are ushered onto a boxcar to be taken to the actual meeting place.
