The fortiscarab swarm

Brethren
whenever you wake up tell me your ideas for swarm RP.

“That’s a terrible idea. Nobody should put baby in a corner!” grumbles Jessica Roberts, the director of Thriwich Minimum Security Orphanarium, cradling a baby in her arms, while two other toddlers clutch at her clothes. “Our institution is overflowing with poor orphans. Wouldn’t it be better if you just provided financial incentives, perhaps paid for with a small tax increase, for infertile couples to adopt?” Taking advantage of your momentary absent-mindedness, she puts the baby on your lap. “Speaking of adoption, would you like to take care of this adorable little girl? I think she likes you.”

Snow: is this supposed to sound ridiculous? I've adopted someone that way already . . . passing the law.
The fungi that the hive subsists on are not high in calcium. You can't make eggshells without calcium . . . well, you can, but they'll be weak and sh#tty eggshells. I figure the Hive-queen is likely to copy the trick that female bearded dragons use, i.e. strip the calcium from her own body to make eggshells with. This causes weak bones in beardies and probably a weak, prone-to-collapse exoskeleton in the queen. RP idea: deal with this.

That would make sense, and her exoskeleton is weak as is... hmmm. Also, calcium deficiencies can (I think) make her immunodeficiencient, so... Alright, thing that can start it off.

Overlord who observes lumbers out of the hive at an unprecedentedly early time, when most are asleep. He slowly makes his way to the tower, careful not to impale any cars on the way. He reaches the door, before plopping himself down and waits. He gives a sharp 2 clicks with his mandibles as a form of knocking.

I watched Skyrim theory videos about how Argonians ended up with breasts, then thought about Valsora because I always do, and this is the result. (Before Shav, OU and EK jump me: I know you don't officially persecute nekos anymore, but for God knows how many generations you did and that created the conditions they evolved under.) It is entirely possible that these ideas are dumb and wrong though.

Meaning, they have some issues that dogs have but amplified because we actively looked for said issues.

Hispanic Neko (feline qualities can mean early death):

  • fine, silky hair

  • long tails

  • short, translucent whiskers

  • long, nastily sharp claws

  • teeth pointed

  • slit pupils

  • often no whites of eyes

  • eyes often yellow or green

  • reflective layer in back of eyes

  • often dock tails at birth, pluck whiskers until they stop growing back

Germanic Neko (feline qualities WILL mean early death):

  • no whiskers / whiskers that can be passed off as moustache, eyebrows etc.

  • tiny, vestigial cat ears

  • tailless or very stubby tails

  • short, translucent claws

  • teeth not pointed

  • round pupils

  • eyes have whites

  • practically never yellow or green eyes

  • no reflective back layer in eyes

  • dock tails, pluck whiskers, file teeth, declaw each other, cut off ears, anything to look human

Syndicate Nekos (bred for slavery):

  • muscular

  • idk ask TDS

  • probably no "human" cosmetic adaptations because no point

"Plain" Neko (feline qualities not a detriment to survival):

  • long whiskers

  • often fuzzy

  • tails varying in length

  • eyes completely catlike

  • pointed teeth

  • noticeable claws, often dark in colour

  • vestigial human ears

My nekos are probablyy very much germanic but after we did the thingy they probably are deformed husks of what once was a Neko, a culmination of disastrous mutations that lead to a lack of a breeding season, rather they do it all year round (to improve productivity), hypermetabolism that results in stronger workers but very short lifespans, aforementioned mutations which would cause pain and shorter lifespans (with some other work side effects like the fact that they might just endlessly make dopamine [for reference, my friend has a problem where he has to take depressants to keep his never ending dopamine in check] and a tendency to produce stimulants like adrenaline), and a host of other things that are related to the harsh, sadistic treatment of them.

Well my first NS email was a general anonymous online email. It took me until Lerasi joined the WA for NS only.

Kathrin smiled coldly. "I gained my rank for a reason, Emperor. Your bugging technology is old." She said calmly, like rooms being bugged was common. She was with the secret service - but they would not learn of this. She simply was a diplomat to them. Nothing more.

OOC: I am well aware of what a bug is.

Emperor Sygarius: "Bugging.. are you seri-.."

The Emperor stands up immediately and began to head towards the door

Emperor Sygarius: "So disrespectful... In my own fvcking tower.. Dinner starts in a bit. I do expect that you will be joining everyone. And maybe even the BEAUTIFUL delegate of Golbad will be joining us in my possibly BUGGED dining area. Lets see if you check the seats for explosives." He scoffs
