I wrote a small passage for one of my nations, meant to be a theory on economic value proposed by a scholar during the 12th century.

Bestowed upon each Earthly object, three values thither.

Firstly, merit from Heaven.
She [Great Goddess] grants all matter Heavenly utility upon birth,
By virtue of closeness to Perfect Form, it is exemplified in spirit,
Constant as snow upon peak of [Mount] Han'gua-san
Eternal as bounty from the East Sea [of Korea].

Moreover, excellence from Human.
Whilst reach Perfect Form even highest of Human's efforts may not,
Nor may they match her [Great Goddess's] shaping of spirit,
Shape the form and worldly appearance they may,
Therefore changing value.

Ultimately, worthiness from markets,
Whereas value within and without the prior [two] hath [been] determined,
And unchanging they may be,
The last is subject to whims of mass's Heart and Mind.

Heavenly Merit, Humanly Excellence, Market's Worthiness.
Closely understand the Three Values,
Become enlightened on affairs economic of Daeju and all under Heaven.

All objects and goods we use in the world have three different kinds of values.

The first kind of value comes from Heaven called Heavenly Merit, which is determined at the moment of its creation by the Great Goddess. The closer an object's essence is to the perfect form, the higher its Heavenly Merit. Heavenly Merit does not change no matter what but is fixed and unchanging, just like how Mount Han'gua always has a cap of snow on its summit, or year after year the East Sea of Korea always provides sustenance to fisherman and catchers.

Humanly Excellence is another kind of value, and it comes from humans' efforts. Unlike the Great Goddess, humans cannot readily achieve perfection and therefore are unable to match the Great Goddess's ability to shape an object's closeness to perfection. As a result, Heavenly Merit cannot be changed by people. Instead, humans can change an object's outward appearance and physical characteristics, which results in an increase or decrease in Humanly Excellence.

Finally, the last form of value is called Market's Worthiness. As opposed to how Heavenly Merit and Humanly Excellence are relatively fixed and stable, the Market's Worthiness of an item is in constant fluctuation based on the popular demand for an object. This changes on a whim with their hearts and minds.

If someone can master their understanding of the three values of Heavenly Merit, Humanly Excellence, and Market's Worthiness, then they will unlock a key understanding on how the Daeju and world economy operate and function.

I swear literally anything I do in this game makes my public transport stat go down I made college free and that somehow meant I got less public transport???

Public Transport represents spending on transit, so when your taxes are high enough, increased funding starts to take away from other expenditures.

Thanks

Apparently I'm still in the top 5% of the world for public transport though so I shouldn't get too worried too soon.

This has the amount of detail you'd see in an epic novel. How could you make this with no profit insensitive?

Talk about human excellence.

Wanting to teach my children useful life skills in school, I accidentally abolished all universities besides the School of Hard-Knocks. Would a fellow nation of the DankLeft Commune be able to insure constant supply of Monster™ energy drinks to Technosocialist Quebec?

Regards.

While Alcala-Cordel is unable to supply Technosocialist Quebec with energy drinks as our own nation is ill-equipped for beverage production, we are willing to provide all blueprints and materials necessary to begin production in your own country.

Hello, It's good to see you again! Feel free to hang out here as long as you want

Speaking of CTEing, I think all my puppets are dead now because card farming got boring and monotonous without a third season

Embassy aborted with the genzom collective because the delegate promoted the caste system or something on reddit idk I don't really use that website anymore

On a different note I should be a little more active around here in about a week and a half, I'm visiting family and helping build a house atm

I've been learning how to play the bass guitar, it's actually really fun
